Professional Agitator Lisa Fithian Caught on Tape at Columbia With Pro-Hamas Mob

Professional Agitator Lisa Fithian Caught on Tape at Columbia With Pro-Hamas Mob

Fithian helped agitate Occupy Wall Street, other protests against Israel, Ferguson, and Chicago Teachers Union.

Oh, look. A video shows professional paid agitator 63-year-old Lisa Fithian canoodling with the pro-Hamas mob at Columbia during the NYPD raid.

Now, maybe people will shut up when we say outside agitators have infiltrated the colleges and are behind all the chaos.

Fithian literally helps the mob break into Hamilton Hall.

My goodness. I wish I could find everything Andrew Breitbart ever said or wrote about Fithian. Have you noticed the right has gone down the drain since he died?

Mother Jones dubbed Fithian “Professor Occupy” in 2012. The article even mentions how the Big Sites ran nine stories about her, “painting her as an anarchist bent on ‘the total annihilation of the American political and economic system.'”

Authors don’t hold back in gushing articles, so we know all about Fithian’s antics back during Occupy Wall Street:

A new problem arose in November when a spate of graffiti and window smashing at a march in Oakland, California, fueled notions that the movement’s tent cities were full of thugs. Some Occupy protesters supported the mayhem, citing the need for “diversity of tactics.” But Fithian countered in an open letter that “diversity of tactics becomes a code for ‘anything goes,’ and makes it impossible for our movements to hold anyone accountable for their actions.”

Unfortunately, I cannot access the open letter. The article also told us she got paid $300 daily to train activists. Her price has probably increased even though she’s with the people. (They’re all capitalists at heart.)

But Fithian admitted it’s about creating chaos, destroying property if needed, and taking down anyone:

“One of the problems is when people are doing different shit, we are starting to disrespect each other because we are thinking that your way is not as rad as our way,” Fithian said. “We are bringing in all these judgments, and it’s very destructive. We have to accept what each movement’s gifts are, and where we can be in alignment.”

Union members and occupiers can work together to “interrupt the space between corporate America and democracy,” she went on, to murmurs of assent. “It’s not about getting our elected officials to do something. Shit. They ain’t gonna do shit.”

In 2012, Breitbart News unveiled a video of Fithian in 2010 spewing antisemitic verbiage. She hates Israel.

Fithian has shown off her antisemitism many times, especially with the Freedom Flotilla:

I first became aware of and active around Palestine during the First Intifada in 1987. Over these years I have worked for a Free Palestine. I traveled to the West Bank with the International Solidarity Movement in 2002, helped organize actions in Cario with the Gaza Freedom March in 2010, I was part of the organizing committee for the US Boat to Gaza in 2011 and I provided nonviolence training for that mission and for the Women’s Boat to Gaza in 2016.

“This hateful Israeli occupation of Palestine is not only doing harm and causing death for the Palestinians, it is harming the water, the land and the soul of the Israelis,” she added in her biography on the Freedom Flotilla website.

Fithian also guided the 2018 Flotilla to Gaza.

After Occupy Wall Street, the Chicago Teachers Union welcomed Fithian. Those people are always complaining and whining.

People also spotted Fithian at Ferguson to train Black Lives Matter mobs.

Where’s Kyle Rittenhouse when we need him?

Milhouse in reply to Dagwood. | May 2, 2024 at 5:10 am

Rittenhouse would not have done anything to her, because she would not have been directly attacking him. He did nothing but defend himself from an ongoing attack, and the moment it stopped he stopped.

Now, maybe people will shut up when we say outside agitators have infiltrated the colleges and are behind all the chaos.

I don’t doubt outside agitators have played a large role, but the “enemy within” (leftist students, professors and administrators) are a huge part of what is going on at colleges like Columbia and UCLA. Academia has become breeding grounds for neo-Nazis, and that did not happen except by deliberate design and years of preparation. If all the outside agitators vanished tomorrow in a puff of sulfurous smoke, the riots would likely continue mostly as before. Antisemitism has become fave-rave among our self-anointed moral and intellectual betters.

I’m not sure it would continue because without the adults prodding the kids would actually start talking to each other, and likely finding common ground. I saw this at many parties in my grad school years where Arabs and Jews would start arguing with each other, and then 10 minutes later where telling jokes and hanging out by the pool. People often find it hard to sustain hate without being constantly reinforced, isolated from other sources or people, and validated that their hate is righteous and correct. Those outside agitators, professors, politicians they are essential to these students being recalcitrant as they teach them to “not engage” or talk to the counter demonstrators (e.g. see Palestinian strategy of “no normalization), because they fear that once their little stooges do engage they will realize that the people they are screaming at are just people like them.

We see a lot of talk about young people feeling adrift, living unfulfilled, unrequited lives. They desire purpose. Marxism fills that gap. Not all of them want to literally “man the barricades,” but there’s enough of them on campus to do the heavy lifting.

Affinity Grouping force multiplies small group cohesion; It manages monkey-minded group chaos into focused political action. Small networks of new and old friends.

Relative to their small size, affinity groups can achieve a disproportionately powerful impact. In contrast to traditional top-down structures, they are free to adapt to any situation, they need not pass their decisions through a complicated process of ratification, and all the participants can act and react instantly without waiting for orders—yet with a clear idea of what to expect from one another. The mutual admiration and inspiration on which they are founded make them very difficult to demoralize.
In stark contrast to capitalist, fascist, and socialist structures, they function without any need of hierarchy or coercion. Participating in an affinity group can be fulfilling and fun as well as effective.

Good points. We, as a society, have basically abandoned traditional ‘rites of passage’ to enter adulthood and achieve status/recognition from elders/ leaders. More over these rites, for males, were/are declared to be ‘toxic’ simply b/c they there are historically associated with masculine virtues. The counter balancing female rites were likewise degraded as relics of the ‘patriarchy’.

Kids, my butt. They are all adults. They should have to deal with adult consequences. Should, but probably won’t since the “authorities” all agree with this crap.

Agreed. Outside financiers and leadership coordinators are embedded within the student protest juggernaut. On October 6th everything was prepositioned on the social justice battlefront- namely SJP International and Democratic Socialists of America. All had been forewarned of a major, unspecified, coming event.

It’s the 1930’s Comintern version 2.0. But even then, leadership needed followers, real followers, not just a handful of battle tested, old bolsheviks. Agitprop and soothing words filled the gaps. Urbanites lined up to join.

    Mass movement.

And that’s exactly what we see today. University students literally primed for action since childhood. Just show up for the participation trophy. Feel useful while having fun. Everyone wants to feel useful. Don’t bother yourself with the details.

They should be treated as terrorists, and following the precedent set by Barack Obama, they should be droned.

Milhouse in reply to Paul. | May 2, 2024 at 5:19 am

Again with this crap? You are referring to the US armed forces killing literal enemy soldiers, who were literally bearing arms against the USA in a literal war. A war declared by Congress. There was nothing remarkable about it; killing enemies is what war is all about. In war we kill enemies all the time. It’s what the armed forces are for.

The fact that an enemy soldier happened to hold a US passport is completely irrelevant; this has happened routinely for as long as US citizenship has existed, and will continue to happen for as long as there is still a USA.

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to Milhouse. | May 2, 2024 at 7:13 am

No Milhouse, that isn’t correct. Obama claimed to have the authority to declare any U.S., citizen (whether in the military or not) an “enemy combatant” and to unilaterally and extrajudicially order that enemy combatant’s execution where ever they may be up to and including on U.S. soil ore territory.

Milhouse in reply to Milhouse. | May 2, 2024 at 9:50 am

0bama did not “claim” anything. We are discussing a specific attack, by the US military, on an enemy soldier, no different in any way from the millions of such attacks the US military has engaged in since 1775.

How exactly do you imagine war works? Who do you think decides whether someone is a legitimate target in war? A court?! Who could possibly make such a decision if not the military, i.e. the president?

The terms “US citizen”, “unilateral”, and “extrajudicial” do not belong in this conversation. Merely using them marks you as dishonest. All killings in war are extrajudicial — war is not a judicial process. And of course they are “unilateral”; who could the other side possibly be? The enemy?! Ever since the US has existed there have been enemy soldiers with US passports, and nobody has ever suggested that should make any difference whatsoever.

Justanug in reply to Milhouse. | May 2, 2024 at 2:52 pm

No Milhouse. Congress has never authorized “war”. It an authorized use of force. A HUGE difference.

Milhouse in reply to Milhouse. | May 2, 2024 at 11:44 pm

No Milhouse. Congress has never authorized “war”. It an authorized use of force. A HUGE difference.

Bullshit. There is no difference at all. An AUMF is a declaration of war.

The idea that Congress must use some magic words to declare war, such as “We Declare War”, is just silly. That is not how law works.

“If all the outside agitators vanished tomorrow in a puff of sulfurous smoke, the riots would likely continue mostly as before.”
    They just wouldn’t remember why.
Like the George Burns joke about chasing women at his age.

But the AP told me the protests were “organic” and completely spontaneous in response to students strong held beliefs. They also told me that “right wingers” have accused other completely natural protests of being “infiltrated” by outside forces. I mean come on students always naturally know how to form human chains, block other students, set up checkpoints and demand wristbands, and smash into building and build barricades; that’s totally taught in Lit 101. Also, they always all by matching tents and accessories for their illegal encampments and use all the same deranged, hyperbolic and carefully worded racist euphemisms; like its Zionist not Jews that we hate. And they always have the exact same lame ass rhyming chants. Sure some the students looked way wrinkly but come on, stop being skin-phobic and judgemental. It was totally organic!

Here’s the AP stellar write up, yup way to thrw shade on an obvious conclusion by the Mayor:

: In a letter to senior NYPD officials, Columbia President Minouche Shafik said the administration was making the request that police remove protesters from the occupied building and a nearby tent encampment “with the utmost regret.” Shafik also leaned into the idea, first put forward by New York City Mayor Eric Adams earlier in the day, that the group that occupied Hamilton was “led by individuals who are not affiliated with the university.”
Members of the New York Police Department strategic response team move towards an entrance to Columbia University, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in New York. After entering the campus, a contingent of police officers approached Hamilton Hall, the administration building that student protesters began occupying in the morning.

Neither provided specific evidence to back up that contention, which was disputed by protest organizers and participants.

NYPD officials made similar claims about “outside agitators” during the huge, grassroots demonstrations against racial injustice that erupted across the city after the death of George Floyd in 2020. In some instances, top police officials falsely labeled peaceful marches organized by well-known neighborhood activists as the work of violent extremists.

“ Minouche Shafik ”
That’s part of the problem. We need more college presidents with European names, and preferably males.

Is there some reason why this dirtbag is still free, and walking upright?

Significant charges with significant prison time upon conviction of those individuals who seek to profit from chaos as well as their pay masters and those who facilitate and enable their criminal actions.

I heard some sort of press conference yesterday mid-way through. I think it was either Eric Adams or the police chief. In either case, the man was hard to understand given how sloppy his speech habits were. He sounded not very bright.

    Funny how that works.

Still waiting to learn who ordered all those brick pallets for all the George Floyd cookouts, not holding my breath.

Short video showing UCLA students carrying away their encampment gear. Most look like college kids. A few purposefully look away from the camera. The woman wearing sunglasses and a blue shirt at the very end of the video 1:47/:147 looks like a sentinel-outsider.

”The police can do the job of clearing out the building, but the DA is then going to drop the charges,” he continued “You can’t drop a charge if we bring a civil lawsuit. So I urge other lawyers in New York– Jews, Gentile, any lawyer– join me, pro bono, in bringing a lawsuit against everybody involved in hurting Jews.”

‘Professional” means paid. By whom?

I was literally thinking about her the other day when this began precolating. She’s been awful quiet for some time. I didn’t think she had gotten out of the game……..and she hasn’t. What a vile woman. If she’s only getting $300/day for this, she’s not charging guys like Soros near enough.

Is she considered an example of an “Extremist White Nationalist” the government has been warning us about being the biggest threat we face? After all, the warning was not clear as to what nation that extreme allegiance belongs to.

Is Lisa related to Ray Epps?

Yes, there IS a resemblance. Prognathous brow, jutting jaw, rugged hair-do, innate uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time, and a knack for keeping her own hands clean. Yep… must be related.
