‘Death to America:’ Anti-Israel Encampments Pop Up at More Universities

‘Death to America:’ Anti-Israel Encampments Pop Up at More Universities

Faculty members and professors have started showing support for the anti-Israel students.

I’m covering Columbia and Yale in the morning post.

Columbia, Yale, NYU, MIT, Michigan, The New School, UC-Berkeley, Emerson College.

I love this picture:

If you guys see other schools on Twitter, please let me know: @mchastain81

But it is spreading.

University of Michigan

The Liberated Encampment Zone popped up at the University of Michigan.

Students Allied for Freedom and Equality, Jewish Voice for Peace, and Graduate Employees’ Organization organized it.

Their flyers include “Death to America.”

NYU

Gaza Solidarity Encampment

MIT

The antisemites at MIT set up their encampments right by the MIT Hilel building.

Passover begins tonight at sundown. Did MIT do anything about the encampment? Nope.

The Jewish community decided to move the Passover seder to another location to stay safe. Unbelievable.

Emerson College

The New School

The New School has one going.

UC-Berkeley

I’m shocked it took this long!!

It makes you nostalgic for the days of America as “The Great Satin.” Spelling is so important in protests.

Deja vu all over again.
If you’ve never seen it, there is a documentary from the 80’s títled “The War at Home” (not to be confused with some tv show) about the anti-war protests at Univ Wisconsin in the 60’s into 70 that lead to a bombing on campus showing how the “anti-war” movement was infiltrated and instigated by hard core communists and anarchists-and many are still proud of it to this day.
It was a red-pill moment for me to see it.
And years ago now they infiltrated the highest levels of government like Bill Ayers’ friend.
Maybe Bob Dylan was right after all, a slow train may be coming into the station.
The Almighty is always right, He will have a day against all that is lifted up against Him.

    MDP,
I remember the movie. My brother was at the U of W when all that went on. Nothing has changed. The kids on campus need some phony cause to feel important. They have shallow protected lives and “saving the oppressed” gives their pathetic lives some vague sense of purpose. Also exposes their stupidity.

To paraphrase Blaise Pascal, there is a God-shaped hole in every heart; these entitled brats seek to fill it with Righteous Causes and Standing With the Oppressed.

The REAL Satin (sic) knows well how to manipulate the ungodded.

Corrie ten Boom and Bonhoeffer were heroes of mine new in the faith back in the day.. .
Never would I have dreamed of seeing what I am seeing on US soil now.

It seems we are not far from where Christians and good-hearted people of all faiths will need a “Hiding Place” to conceal Jews seeking safety.

It appears that Obama’s pledge to fundamentally change America is gaining momentum in campuses and American institutions.

I’ll bet not one of those scum has ever missed a meal, been forced to sleep out in the open, or been shot at. They all need to be rounded up and given a one-way airplane ride to Gaza.

Parachutes optional.

I doubt any of them have any idea what it is they are protesting. They are stirred up by social media, their friends think it is ‘cool’ and the woke thing to do. They are lemmings with no independent thought. This makes it all the more dangerous.
There was a street interview by Konstantin Kisin with some of these darlings. Not one could give a coherent explanation of what the slogans meant. In fact one lad said he had just picked up his sign from a barrel with others. When asked what did ‘social intifadah’ on his sign mean he was clueless. What does intifadah mean? He had no idea. All they are doing is giving aid and support to hamas…

Most of them are focused on:
        – Getting laid
        – “Rebelling”
        – Getting laid
        – Skipping class, tests, writing papers, exams, etc.
        – Getting laid
        – Trying to remember the buzzwords the cadre taught them

Then there are the true believers, the gullible but intense. They can be recognized as being absolutely ferocious regarding any emotion-laden cause the cadre conmen sold them on. These are more commonly known as suckers, the useful idiots, or cannon fodder.

Lastly there are the professional agitators, the cadre. Highly trained, well funded, very mobile, morally flexible, and deceptively well organized. The similarities in message, organization, equipage, and even uniforms (keffiyeh) scream out the non-grassroot-ness of this whole evil charade. It is in fact bought and paid by someone and made to order for them.

The “gullible but intense” ones are the ones NOT getting laid. Have you ever seen such a large gathering of 18-28 year old women and thought “no thanks”. Fat pierced or otherwise dysfunctional 20 something White women are the vanguard of the far left noise on campus.

An insightful comment. I survived the Free Speech Movement at UC-Berkeley in the mid-60s, and recall guys saying they hoped to meet some “cute chicks” at the Sproul Hall campus demonstrations. In fact, I recall hearing that sentiment at numerous anti-war rallies during the entire Vietnam protest era. Sometimes I wonder whatever happened with all those guys, who would be old farts by now.

Why don’t these Hamashole “students” divest themselves from the universities? That way, they can be assured that their money won’t go to the only democracy in the ME.

And why aren’t there bulldozers flattening those encampments?

I agree in general, but doubt much of “their money” is involved. Mummy and daddy’s money, scholarships, grants, etc. will likely be paying most of the bills.

Because people who actually had to work for their money wouldn’t be pissing it away like this.

Let them protest and occupy buildings…as long as their tantrum happens in their crib.
Once they crawl out of the crib and into traffic they are no longer infantile but impediments to responsibility that does not concern them. They are then speedbumps.

This reminds me of watching an old “Mission Impossible” episode that took place in some POS banana republic. The bad news is it’s not television drama and the POS banana republic is ours.

How many decades will it take to undo the brainwashing and indoctrinating that has been taking place in public schools and universities? And that’s assuming it’s ever even attempted? Instead of a headline reading “Death to America” it should be “Death of America”.

Don’t worry guys. The FBI and DHS are focused like a laser on the real threat to America: – checks notes – Trump Voters.

People are celebrating ‘Death to America’ on college campuses while a legion of federal agents continue to hunt down anyone who owns a Bible or contributed to the GOP. How many embedded federal agents are there at the Columbia and other Ivy league protests. None. None is the answer.

If diversity was a strength we would be getting stronger every day.

Anyone else notice the tents are all the same? Even at different universities. Almost like someone bought a bunch at one time and passes them out so this could happen. But that can’t be it, these are free-thinking college students just protesting the innocent people in Gaza who get hurt.

Liberal American Jews have created this monster and only some have realized the error of their ways. Unfortunately, a majority of American Jews still don’t get it that diversity and equality (especially within liberal circles) is the enemy.

Ahh so Liberal Jews have not been at the VANGUARD of every woke, far left idea in this country? That they have not by and large voted reliably Democrat for 70+ years? That they led the opposition to that awful orange man trying to reasonably control the immigration of the religion of piece(s)? That Jewish Professors and students did not LEAD THE WAY in shouting down and shutting down conservative voices on campus? (So much for the “They came for me” nonsense.) It is not antisemitic to point out these FACTS. Simply ADMIT THE PAST, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, AND STOP THE IDEOLOGY & +VOTING PATTERNS OF THE PAST.

      JR,
You don’t think wealthy Jews have been funding the IVIE’s? Funding the DNC? Funding BLM? Look at the ones who have come forward and gone after Cluadine Gay and UPenn and Columbia? Most are very large donrs to those same schools.

We all realize they are not the only ones but the left has always been the political for people of the Jewish faith.

Ya know, back in the day, when recently immigrated Jewish people were finally making it to the American middle class through their hard work and commitment to this country,(I’m thinking the 1940’s through 60’s based on my grandparents’ experiences), they still couldn’t live in certain areas and suburbs. (Again, thinking of Park Ridge, IL and especially, Kenilworth, IL where Jews weren’t admitted until the 1970’s.)
(And, I refer to the newly immigrated class of Jews because in Chicago, most Jews actually were Republican prior to WWII.)
I also suggest that the anti-semitism of the elected Republicans gave most (Illinois) Jews enough reason to believe that Democrats were the lesser of two evils…at least that’s how my father explained it to me years ago (Thinking of Sen. Charles Percy from Kenilworth, IL and Richard Nixon) (Nixon was known to have referred to Kissinger as ‘Jew Boy’)….
There is a lot to unpack regarding Jewish political affiliations over the years but blaming Jews as the root and sole cause of current problems is not the answer and is completely unfair.

Expel them. Arrest them. Prosecute them. Send them the bill.

Many of these rabid spoiled brats, playing at want to be terrorists are from wealthy and/or politically connected families.

Perhaps a coalition of Jewish and pro American lawyers can research to find if any of the spoiled brats have committed acts for which they can be sued. Hopefully the deep pocketed families can be made to pay for the chaos they have inflicted.

The same goes for the radical faculty cheering on and promoting the movement.

For years the elite left has been destroying higher education in this country with no adverse consequences. They have crossed the Rubicon, and their bill is due.

So great, a bunch of rich white kids.

I am retired from college teaching but now work part-time at the local community college — it’s great, just the classroom, no committees, no department meetings or extra duties.

None of this crap is happening here because all of my students have jobs and families to support. They just want to get ahead in life. You’ll notice that these protests are largely happening at schools attended by the most privileged, and not at places like upstate state uni or downstate community college. For which I am grateful.

The rich kids at Columbia and Yale will get lots of press, but they don’t represent most of folks in the rest of higher ed.

By the way, I would add that I love working at an upstate community college because it’s where we serve “the least of these,” at least in terms of higher ed. I get it, it isn’t Calcutta, but it also isn’t Yale. For which I’m grateful.

So, where did the hundreds of brand new, identical tents that these ‘grassroots’ protestors are using come from? (not to mention the brand new megaphones, professional signage, managed media exposure, etc.),

One site worth of tents I might understand, but multiple sites with the same tents? I’ve seen national Armies who weren’t half that uniform.

This whole charade is engineered by the professional agitators of the Left. Follow the money to see who hired them to do this particular issue,
