Just like Amazon.com, Obamacare has no idea who has paid for stuff already shipped … oh, wait

It’s bad enough that the Obama administration counts as “enrolled” people who merely have done the equivalent of the Amazon.com shopping cart — expressed the desire to have some stuff, in this case Obamacare.

Amazon.com doesn’t count stuff put in the shopping cart in the sales figures it reports — that would be securities and accounting fraud.

Amazon.com also doesn’t ship the stuff you put in the shopping cart unless you pay for it before it leaves the warehouse.  That would be stupid.

But Obamacare does.  It provides coverage to people who haven’t paid a penny, and worse, it has no current way of figuring out who has paid for what.

“Amazon.com…..That would be stupid.”

“But Obamacare does.”

As one Mr. Gump eloquently stated:

STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES

“…and it would be ONEROUS…an’, an’…EXPENSIVE to provide accurate reports, an’ stuff…”

But these MOW-ROHNS are smarter than we are about our health-care needs and how to pay for them.

Tar! Feathers!

Healthcare.gov is somewhere between known unknowns and unknown unknowns.

and we don’t know the number of illegal aliens in our country or where the Solyndra money went to or what happened the night Benghazi went down (oh, wait, yes we do!)

This should come as a surprise to no one with any sense.

Obama isn’t very smart. And he hates having smarter people around him – they remind him of how very mediocre he really is.

So his Administration is staffed with dummies. They can’t do their jobs well, but it keeps Obama’s self esteem inflated to Full Prancing Peacock level.

Is anyone surprised?

They don’t need to, it’s our money they are spending not their own.

Oh! No! Don’t worry; it is not our money.

They already spent all of OUR money.
Now they are spending our children’s money, and our grandchildren’s.

    /SARC.

Single payer, that’s the goal.

Silly blogger man. Amazon.com is capitalism. Obamacare is socialism.

yes … in brief, that says a lot.

But “government option” was the proposed PATH TO socialist/communist “single payer”. Even with both houses they couldn’t get that.

So the Obamacare fraud was patched together with all sorts of hidden doors for the leftists, tucked away in the thousands of pages, passages toward a more socialist law than could be passed with open debate.

The hybrid ACA monster came out stillborn … not socialism or capitalism. It’s one giant destructive fraud, that we live with as a tribute to Obama’s egotistical “fundamental transformation”, and to Democrat contempt for our free country.

It’s also quite telling that O-dumma had to do his own consumer research – one on one’s – with the young people who aren’t buying his product. The POTUS Peacock just can’t believe he hasn’t charmed them into giving $$$ they don’t have.

What’s so surprising? They have NO JOBS!!! (Or did he forget that assignment.)

Henry Hawkins | January 16, 2014 at 8:01 pm

I’ll bet Julia signed up October 1st.

I understand why Obama has no idea how jobs are created. He has no idea how a lemonade stand works, since it would involve the exchange of money and goods/service. Perhaps the reason he hates capitalism so much is that he simply doesn’t understand it?

ConradCA in reply to windbag. | January 17, 2014 at 3:24 am

It’s not that he doesn’t understand, but that he hates capitalism and freedom. His religion is progressive fascism and they seek to create their socialist utopia. A one party state where the state controls every aspect of society. Capitalism and freedom have to be destroyed so they can build this utopia.

I wonder what would happen to the CEO and CFO of Amazon if they reported stuff put in shopping-carts but not actually purchased as revenue in their SEC reporting?

Actually, Amazon is considering sending out packages before they are paid for, or even ordered. “Anticipatory shipping” would send thousands of copies of a new book to, say, Los Angeles with the idea that final destination would be assigned en route as orders come in.

But they still don’t count them as income until you pay for them.
