Harvard Law School professor Ron Sullivan Jr. and his wife Stephanie Robinson, who also teaches at the school, were removed from their positions as residential deans for Harvard's Winthrop House this spring. They were targeted by social justice warriors on campus who claimed they felt "unsafe" due to Sullivan's decision to join the defense team of Harvey Weinstein, even though he dropped Weinstein when he learned the trial would conflict with his teaching schedule.

The College Board is trying to make the SAT more 'fair' for everyone by taking social and economic factors into account. This is really just the latest attempt to institutionalize the concept of social justice into higher education. But this process is pernicious -- the students who are assigned a socioeconomic score won't know how they score, so they may be penalized in college admissions without knowing it. It's like being on Double Secret Probation (ref. Animal House).

Gross! A 26-year-old California sex coach who goes by Demetra Nyx splattered pictures of herself smeared with menstrual blood all over Instagram to celebrate her "beautiful and powerful" periods. She said:
I used to spend my time worrying about what other people thought of me… And yet. It turns out none of that was ever necessary.  I don’t do anything I do now for anyone’s approval…

If you had asked me a week before the Oscars ceremony who was likely to walk away with the Best Picture award for 2018 film releases, I would've given you two answers: Black Panther or Blackkklansman. In the age of #OscarsSoWhite, where progressive politics rule over Hollywood like the Eye of Sauron, it seemed a safe bet to put money on the films that embrace that which the social justice left deems most valuable. Thus came the surprise when, of all the films that talked about racial issues in 2018, the Best Picture Winner of 2019 turned out to be Green Book, a smaller film produced by a white director that the progressive left largely disregarded as retro.
