Disney Exec Admits Implementing ‘Not-at-All-Secret Gay Agenda’ in Children’s Programming

Disney Exec Admits Implementing ‘Not-at-All-Secret Gay Agenda’ in Children’s Programming

“Last summer we removed all of the gendered greetings in relationship to our live spiels. So we no longer say, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.’ We — we’ve trained — we’ve provided training for all of our — our cast members in relationship to that. So now they know it’s ‘Hello, everyone,’ or ‘Hello, friends.'”

Can’t we just let kids be kids?

Instead of teaching children how to be polite, numbers, colors, and singing, Disney wants to push gender theory to the front for young children.

Why is it so important to these people that 5-year-olds know anything about sex? If you’ve watched the new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse you cannot even tell that Mickey and Minnie are a couple or Daisy and Donald.

Christopher Rufo posted videos of a Disney employee meeting. They admitted their top priority is gender theory in children’s programming.

I included transcripts where I could. You don’t need any commentary. Just watch the videos.

Burke: “I’m here as a mother of two queer children, actually, one transgender child, and one pansexual child and — and also as a leader. And that was the thing that really got me because I have heard so much from so many of my colleagues over the course of the last couple of weeks, in open forums, and through emails and phone conversations. And I feel a responsibility to speak, not just for myself, but for them. To all of us, we had a — we had an open forum last week at 20th, where, again, the home of really incredible, groundbreaking LGBTQIA stories over the years, where one of our execs stood up and said, ‘You know, we only have a handful of queer leads in our content.’ And I went, ‘What? That can’t be true!’ And I — and I — and I realized, ‘Oh, it actually is true.’ We have many, many, many LGBTQIA characters in our stories, and — and — and yet, we don’t have enough leads and narratives in which gay characters just — just get to be characters and — and not have to be about gay stories. And so that’s been very eye-opening for me.”

March: “Yeah. I’ve had the privilege of working with the Moon Girl team for the last two years. And they’ve been really open to exploring queer stories. And part of — I’m on the production side, part of the work that I feel like I can put in is making sure that — we take place in modern-day New York, so making sure that that’s like an accurate reflection of New York. So I put together like a tracker of our background characters to make sure that we have like, the full breadth of expression.”

Ware: “Last summer we removed all of the gendered greetings in relationship to our live spiels. So we no longer say, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.’ We — we’ve trained — we’ve provided training for all of our — our cast members in relationship to that. So now they know it’s ‘Hello, everyone,’ or ‘Hello, friends.’ We — we are in the process of changing over those — those recorded messages. And so many of you are probably familiar, when we brought the fireworks back to the Magic Kingdom, we no longer say, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.’ We say, ‘Dreamers of all ages.’ So I love the fact that it’s opened up the creativity, the opportunity for our cast members to look at that.”

Smith: “We’re also reacting from the reality that, when they can erase you, when they can criminalize your existence, when they can demonize who you are, the next step is to criminalize you and take your kids. And we’re already seeing that in Texas. So the slippery slope between these ugly messages, you know, emanating from legislative leaders in our state, and then amplified by our governor, whose spokesperson immediately began calling everyone who opposed this bill, ‘groomers,’ AKA pedophiles.”

Pedophiles rule our governments and our major corporations. What is the solution?

Disney is an easy one, and it’s the one pulling this crap whose business is most directed at children. There are many places to take your family on a fun vacation. Many of them cost a great deal less, too. Cancel Disney+. There are more other options for children’s programming than your child can watch before he outgrows them. Don’t purchase any Disney or Marvel products. If the financial punch to Disney hits hard enough, other corporations will notice.

Well, I guess I am just ahead of the game when it comes to Disney, but I don’t know much about the various other corps.

Pretty soon my own personal boycotts will make me healthy and well-adjusted because I won’t have any extra garbage, I guess.

Here in Central Florida we have so many entertainment options that we don’t need Disney. They are not the only game in town. In fact, no other company has publicly has come out in support of Disney. Other than Disney’s law firm Grey Robinson, there is not much support for them.

When you factor in their ownership of ABC and ESPN it’s not quite as easy as skipping a visit to Mouse kingdom or staying away from their movies. That’s the insidious nature of capture by the radicals. Expanding on the theme of not rewarding Disney shouldn’t we also stop using products and companies which advertise with ABC and ESPN? How about boycotting the Colleges who derive TV income from college athletics broadcast on those networks.

It’s a much broader array of products and services than amusement parks and movies. They know exactly how hard it would be to sever ties with them, their sponsors and affiliates.

True, but if you laser in on one part, the children’s entertainment part, and really make its revenue & profit decline, they will get the message.

“Don’t purchase any Disney or Marvel products.”
      Or Star Wars.
      Or Baby Einstein.
      Or Pixar movies.
      Or watch ABC.
      It’s a gigantic web, folks.

Too bad Disney forbids otherwise legal concealed carry in their parks, going so far as to run everybody through metal detectors to stop it.

We on the right can win this politically but for now that is all. We don’t come close to winning this completely because we don’t own the culture all of us are wallowing in. ‘They’ own it. Politics is down stream from culture. Elections won’t solve this.

It’s what Walt would want.

I’m not sure if that’s sarcasm. In case it’s not, I think someone should point out that considering the industry he worked in, Walt Disney was a reasonably conservative guy. He would be aghast at what his happened to his life’s work.

“As the mother of one transgender and one pansexual child…”

These are very odd people.

“Why is it so important to these people that 5-year-olds know anything about sex?”

It’s important because of two things. First, the goal of the LGBT movement was to always get at your kids. They know that the “born this way” mantra is a lie. If they don’t get to your kids the LGBT movement will die in less than three generations.

Second, many in the LGBT movement want to have sex with kids. They felt admit this and it is no longer something they can deny. They want your kids and they are fighting tooth and nail to get at them. Americans better be ready to do any and everything to prevent that from happening.

Everyone has his opinion. The corruption of the language has been going on for decades.

How long til the modern Huns storm our shore and slay all the lgbtqialolbipoc betas?

Could we discuss the elephant in the room?

Disney has been going woke for years.

Why exactly did conservatives stick with Disney when unlike other areas there are non-woke alternatives?

Anime is not woke, European children’s programming is not woke. Why is it taking Disney getting this explicit to get conservatives to finally (consider) looking at something else?

Hollywood hates us, give Tokyo a try and Paris a try.

“Why exactly did conservatives stick with Disney when unlike other areas there are non-woke alternatives?”

It’s a silly question. Like, “why do conservative groups still use Twitter and Facebook when there are non-woke alternatives?” Because that’s where all the eyeballs are. Even when they KNOW it’s bad for them.
You want your kids watching Duck Tales, Family Guy, or Rick and Morty?
What’s the real alternative here? Crusader Rabbit? Davey and Goliath? Tucker Carlson?

You may as well ask why conservatives would rather cast a vote for a RINO than a Libertarian.

Most of anime art and content is written for adult men. Just because it is a cartoon does not mean it is made for children.

Gay, merry, and bright? No. The transgender spectrum is politically congruent (“=”), a democratic or dictatorial consensus. Does it have a redeeming value to society, humanity? Is it an abortive orientation or Choice? Normalize, tolerate, or reject?

That said, will they still hold pride parades: lions, lionesses, and their [unPlanned] cubs? hakuna matata

Whenever I hear a parent state her child is transsexual or similiar, the thing I want to know is, so who abused your child? Who is investigating?

So, Karey Burke who abused your children, and who has been arrested for it?

For men sexually abused as children or adults, it’s not your fault, you can get help. http://www.MaleSurvivor.org has resources to help.

Except for propaganda programming intended for distribution in China.

we don’t have enough leads and narratives in which gay characters just — just get to be characters and — and not have to be about gay stories

If “just get to be characters” were actually true there would be no need to say they were gay at all. The goal of this exercise is to make their sexuality the central point of the story, because it’s meaningless otherwise.

Milhouse in reply to randian. | March 31, 2022 at 11:20 pm

No, it isn’t. The goal is to make their sexuality merely an interesting fact about them, thrown in for color but not relevant to the plot.

Back when JMS announced his plan for Babylon 5 he said that one of the main characters in the story was gay, but that since this wasn’t relevant to their story nobody would know who it was until it would eventually be revealed in the second or third year. And the whole point of that was that gay people are just like everyone else, and don’t have horns or tails that give them away instantly. In the end the reveal had to be hurried up, and in my opinion it was botched, because the actor playing the gay character decided to leave the show. That was a pity.

I would also refer you to one of my favorite series of detective fiction, Jonathan Kellerman’s Alex Delaware series, in which the police detective happens to be gay, but this is never a plot point. He does his job, catches the murderers, and then goes home to his partner, who happens to be a man, just as the lead character goes home to his partner who happens to be a woman.

DeSantis is a great and courageous governor-the best response by parents and customers is that since Disney has clearly gone woke on this issue, let Disney go broke-in every way that Disney plays a role in American culture. Once upon Disneyworld was a nice clean family trip with lots of attractions for adults and kids-but it was never an essential part of a child’s appreciation of the greatness of America- there are other museums like the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry and the Cradle of Aviation on Long Island and visits to the must go to historical sites in Boston, Philadelphia, Valley Forge and Gettysburg which should be part of the education of any American child.
