Senator Kamala Harris' presidential campaign has seen highs and lows since she officially entered the race back in January. Yet outside of the two-week time frame after the first Democratic debate where her campaign looked unstoppable, it's been mostly lows. So how does a Democratic candidate, who has run out of excuses for why she can't recapture her brief flirtation with momentum, explain away her campaign woes? Trot out the trusty, dusty race and sexism cards, that's what.

Earlier this week, CNN hosted an LGBT+ town hall, at which candidates promised to strip the constitution of freedom of religion and speech, among other things. CNN host Chris Cuomo introduced Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), and when she listed her "gender identification pronouns" as "she, her, and hers." Cuomo responded, "mine too."

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown (D) has been open about his past romantic relationship with current Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA). He's apparently not a fan, however, as he's published an article in which he calls for twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to run against President Trump in 2020.

A new book written by two New York Times reporters, excerpted in an article at the NYTimes, about the nomination and confirmation of Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh purports to raise new evidence about Kavanaugh's supposed sexual misconduct while at Yale. The new accusations do not hold up to scrutiny and are self-contradictory, but that has not stopped Democrat presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Julian Castro, and Robert "Beto" O'Rourke from calling for Kavanaugh's impeachment.

The Democrat debates are the best thing that ever happened to Donald Trump. Tonight's debate in Houston was another example, a mostly sleepy affair in which the two leftist party leaders -- Bernie and Warren -- further cemented their primary policy of taking private insurance away from almost 150 million people. Some of the lesser contenders called them out on that, as did Biden.

In politics as in all things, glory can be fleeting. After the first Democratic debate in late June, the MSM and liberal political commentators treated Sen. Kamala Harris (CA) like the invincible presidential candidate. Her polling numbers rose significantly after she broadsided frontrunner Joe Biden in the opening round. She also saw a nice boost in fundraising. But the last two months have seen the Harris campaign endure an embarrassing freefall. Her polling numbers have tanked, she's lost a significant amount of support from key Democratic voting blocs, and was on the receiving end of a brutal smackdown from Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI) at the second debate over her troubling criminal justice record.

Five years ago, on August 9, 2014, Michael Brown was shot and killed in Ferguson, Missouri, by police officer Darren Wilson. The death, and the claim that Brown was shot with his hands up asking not to shoot, sparked riots and launched the Black Lives Matter Movement to national prominence. But the narrative was based on a lie. Brown was shot because he attacked and attempted to take Wilson's pistol. His hands weren't up, and he didn't ask not to shoot, as an Obama-Holder Justice Department investigation later proved.
