Texas Supreme Court Justice Don Willett was confirmed to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals today. Justice Willett is best known for his Twitter account, where he stays away from politics, and is quite funny. Kemberlee put together a Best of (Future SCOTUS?) Justice Don Willett’s Twitter Feed. Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee conducted confirmation hearings for several judicial appointees including Texas Supreme Court Justice Don Willett. Willett has been nominated for a spot on the fifth circuit. An avid Twitter user, Willett is a bright, humorous spot on the social media platform. Prior to the hearing, many a politic-watcher wondered if Willett's Twitter feed would be questioned. And it was.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, released a short-list of potential SCOTUS nominees Wednesday. Senate Republicans have thus far, made good on their promise to block President Obama's nomination of Judge Merrick Garland.
