Beto O'Rourke hasn't announced his candidacy for 2020 yet, but the folks at 'Draft Beto' have already released an ad, which I guess is supposed to get people excited for his inevitable run. Attorney General William Barr said that he plans to tell the Senate during his confirmation hearings this week that he believes Special Counsel Robert Mueller should finish his Russia investigation. From NBC News:

Only CBS confirmed the broadcast by Monday evening. However, their decision led to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to demand equal airtime.

Democrats are setting up the table with a new narrative for 2019 and 2020. It is increasingly apparent that they're planning a hard push on climate change. It's all about the "Green New Deal" being advanced by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
