Obama: Political Theater Doesn’t Come Naturally To Me

Obama: Political Theater Doesn’t Come Naturally To Me

He sure is good at faking it.

Today was Chuck Todd’s first day hosting Meet the Press and he scored a sit down with Obama.

When asked about his decision to play golf right after his statement on James Foley, Obama suggested he didn’t anticipate the optics.

Carrie Dan of NBC News reported:

Not A Natural? Obama Says Political Theater Not His Strength

President Barack Obama, once mocked by his political opponents as “the biggest celebrity in the world,” told NBC’s Chuck Todd that the theater of the presidency is “not something that always comes naturally to me.”

Pressed by Todd about his decision to play golf shortly after a Martha’s Vineyard press conference addressing the beheading of journalist James Foley, Obama said he “should have anticipated the optics” of hitting the links.

“Part of this job is also the theater of it,” he said in the exclusive interview for NBC’s Meet the Press. “Well, it’s not something that always comes naturally to me. But it matters. And I’m mindful of that.”

The president’s words are inspiring mockery on Twitter.

Give Cinderella a chance

0bungler’s continuing theatrics make me want to vomit and after six years of his bilious BS, I’m close to rupturing my esophagus.

Notice the President’s choice of words: “not something that always something hat comes naturally to me.”

Everybody is entitled to a theatrical screw-up from time to time.

Where to begin? This is a good start. Remember this bit of theater? The doctors with white coats photo-op:

I’m put in mind of Daffy Duck after his bill gets blown off…

“Make-up…!!!”

This is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Obama Tells Troops: “You guys make a pretty good photo op” http://pamelageller.com/2009/11/obama-tells-troops-you-guys-make-a-pretty-good-photo-op.html/#sthash.rL7P5p8Y.dpuf

Obama is all-theater, all the time. He does little of substance at all.

Short speech, back to golf. Quick ceremony, off to a fundraiser. In between, video games and advance copies of movies and HBO shows.

Obama is lazy, incompetent, weak, and worthless.

It’s going to be a long 865 days.

Obama won the two races that counted. McCain didn’t have the “optics” advantage “over there.” And, Mitt Romney came up short.

Let’s say Rick Perry wins in 2016. Same issues prevail. There are no Winston Churchill types to choose from. All the “A List” players are dead.

And, yes. If Perry wins … we’ll still be talking about “political theater” falling short of reality.

Who exactly would still be talking about political theater?

Perry at least has executive experience. Obama had none before being vaulted into the White House, and he doesn’t seems to have acquired much since then. Perry is governing over a state that’s attracting businesses and adding jobs. Obama’s economy still stinks. Perry has his faults, but he certainly wouldn’t be gutting the military, alienating our allies, dithering on matters of national security, actively favoring the country’s enemies, or siccing the IRS on his political opponents.

This is a big moment – Obama actually admitting to a failure.

He’s not even trying to blame it on some mind-trick by that Jedi-master George Bush.

Or even Fox News.

But I suppose we just haven’t heard from his apologists yet – you know, the old “What the President meant to say …” routine.

This is my last. It’s just too easy. No theater at Stonehenge. No, none at all:

This ‘optics’ thing is the ‘I apologise if I offended anyone’ equivalent .

I just recently saw a pic of. Him walking in DC with Valerie Jarrett& the usual security guys. He had shirt & tie – the sec guys with suit& tie – however only his was blowin in the wind at least 8″ away . Either he had done a pirouette just prior or a cool guy app on Photoshoppe.

He was like a kid just graduated having just thrown off his cloak & hat in the preGFC days . 52 is the new 22.

It’s easy to get careless when you are used to the press having your back.

This is as close as he will ever get to admitting a mistake.

And in this case the mistake was; “I should have pretended to give a damn.”

Like everything that comes out of this a-hole’s mouth.
