Wow! I just read your highlight of “this book”. I have been saying exactly the same as you–everything is a crisis–we must hurry and pass stimulus, cash for clunkers, bankruptcy for C and Gm, etc. Hurry, hurry, hurry….absolutely agree with your comment, except I think they have ALL read the book.
Yup! It’s always “we must act now! no time to read the fine print! omg do you want us all to die for gawd’s sake just sign on the dotted line already!” then one month later “sayonara sucker!”
My mom used to get her car keyed and bumper stickers vandalized in Seattle because among her left of liberal line up she had two conservative stickers. One that read ‘Marines’ for my son and one that said, ‘Real Feminists don’t kill babies’.
Funny how the left can vandalize something and it is a protest. Let someone on the right peacefully post a bumper sticker and it is a ‘hate crime’.
I’m tellin’ ya … magnetic conservative bumper stickers are the only way to go.
After having my car vandalized a few times with conventional stickers I learned my lesson.
