Irate Karmelo Anthony Supporter Asks What to Tell Her ‘Five Boys’; X Users Offer Suggestions
“He murdered that boy because he was raised to hate white people and to view himself as a victim in every situation. It’s a culture thing.”
Supporters of Karmelo Anthony appeared unprepared for the possibility that he would be held accountable for the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet in April 2025. After the verdict was announced, protests erupted outside the courthouse. Anthony supporters chanted, “Free Karmelo!” while one demonstrator shouted, “This whole thing’s been racist!”
As members of the Metcalf family left the courthouse following sentencing and walked toward their vehicle, they were heckled by protesters. One individual could be heard saying, “Hey, we glad Austin’s dead. I’m glad Austin is dead.”
Classy.
Low-IQ animals scream racist slurs at Austin Metcalf’s family as they leave the courthouse 🚨
They then block their car in to stop them from leaving peacefully…

The following outburst from an irate protester has been widely circulated on social media. Speaking to a reporter, she said, “What do you want us to do? … I’ve got five boys. I ain’t got nothing to tell them no more. You can’t walk away no more.”
[For an unknown reason, a male protester standing nearby says, “Rest in peace Trayvon Martin,” but I digress.]
A teenager who killed another teenager was convicted of murder in a court of law and is being held accountable. This isn’t complicated.
And X users wasted no time in advising her what to tell her sons.
They suggested the obvious: “Uh … don’t murder?”

They all offered the woman the same advice:
You tell them don’t murder people.

Naturally, satire site The Babylon Bee saw the absurdity in the woman’s remarks and published a post titled, “Nation Shocked As Jury Rules You Cannot Stab Someone In The Heart For No Reason At All.”

Another user attached a post written several hours before the verdict was reached by Sholdon Daniels, a prominent black attorney who practices in Collin County, Texas, the same county where the trial took place. He wrote:
Karmelo Anthony will be convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
As he should.
He murdered that boy because he was raised to hate white people and to view himself as a victim in every situation.
It’s a culture thing.
I practice law in Collin County, Texas.

As a black man I’m embarrassed of the black community today. Black people all across the country are crying for a murderer who killed an innocent white man. Austin Metcalf had his whole life ahead of him and it was taken by a violent thug, who now has people crying in the streets…

Another posted the following quote from economist, historian, and commentator Thomas Sowell: “When people get used to preferential treatment, equal treatment seems like discrimination.”

What made the woman’s outburst so striking was that she seemed genuinely bewildered by the outcome. Yet the lesson many X users urged her to teach her sons was neither complicated nor controversial: don’t carry a knife to a school event, don’t escalate a trivial dispute into a deadly confrontation, and don’t stab another person in the chest.
A jury heard the evidence, weighed the self-defense claim, and returned a guilty verdict. That is not evidence of systemic injustice; it is evidence that actions have consequences. If some Anthony supporters are struggling to explain the verdict to their children, perhaps the problem is not the verdict itself, but the expectations they brought into the courtroom.

Uh he didn’t walk away. He stabbed him in the chest instead. If he had walked away as he was asked to do 15 times there would not have been a problem.
I will say that ignorant protester with the 5 boys who asked the question is too stupid to be allowed to reproduce in the first place. This is not a hard problem or difficult issue and circumnavigating separates reasoning rational humans from ignorant stupid tribal animals.
Pertinent question….”How many baby daddies for those 5 chil’n?”
Six – Five biodads, and the guy who has a job she saddled with child support.
Child support? Child support?!? Ain’t none of those baby daddies paying this woman child support. But she’s likely making a good income from all the welfare she be collectin’ from the gubermint. That’s for sure.
I remember the reaction to OJ getting away with murder.
There are many sophisticated black YouTubers who are coming out clearly and loudly on the correctness of the decision of the jury. They are members of American society. Unfortunately there are a large number of blacks who refuse to be or simply can’t be educated about why conviction was the only answer from the majority American culture viewpoint. They live outside American society.
We have to come to terms with the existence of this sub-culture who at a minimum do not appear to be able to understand the rules of behavior of a society government by laws and social conventions. They cannot grasp the connection between actions and consequences – just as we saw with Karmelo.
Here’s the problem we face: over the past 75 years or so, America has made a forceful government-directed effort to absorb this subculture on the theory that if exposed more closely and directly to the norms they would adopt the behavior of the “mainstream” culture. Frankly by any accepted sociologic measure, this attempt has failed. Must we, can we, revert to some sort of strict enforcement of laws where no excuses are accepted; no probation offered? I frankly state that this approach applied evenly and equitably will hit blacks hardest. Their crime rates are vastly out of proportion with their percentage of the population. We would have to accept -based on the FBI crime statistics- that our prison population would grow tremendously and that a large proportion of that growth would come from the black community. Would it improve our safety and general living conditions? A better behaved society because of the fear of consequences? One side of me says yes; the subculture would respond rationally and behave better. The other side says the subculture is mentally incapable of responding rationally.
I must admit to nervousness in writing this.
The black urban subculture as it exists now is a direct result of LBJ’s great society and the decision by black democratic politicians to enrich themselves and their families at the expense of the black urban population. This has been written and spoken about many times, Of course blacks don’t need to worry. There has been an effort by democratic politicians and their pet teachers unions to dumb down everyone in society and they’ve been successful to an extent. After all a dumbed down populace is more tractable, doesn’t question, and more reliably votes democrat.
The first huge migration of “redneck” blacks (as defined by Thomas Sowell) into urban life came with the end of slavery. This migration was not appreciated by free blacks. The present ghetto culture is based on this. LBJ gave it a huge fertility boost.
It’s important to have a bit of history here. In the 1950s the black community had a lower fatherless rate than the white community and an equivalent crime rate. All cultures have a violent subculture. As noted LBJ great society wrecked a consequence driven culture. If you decrease the consequences of an action, the probability of the action increases. With LBJ’s actions fatherlessness exploded, young men had no one to guide them, and violence was the natural outcome. Fatherlessness tracts well with culture and violence. Blacks have the highest fatherless rate, the highest violence rate. Asians have the lowest fatherless rate and he lowest violence rate. Yes this individual has a father , but the culture is essentially fatherless
I thought about making several points about black tendencies pre great society but I skipped that. You point is one I would have made. Not only did urban blacks have strong families at the time but there was a growing middle class. All undone because it became expedient to kick men out of households,
All brought to us by the leftist/progressives.
“I frankly state that this approach applied evenly and equitably will hit blacks hardest.”
Modern sanitary practices hit pathogenic microbes the hardest, while leaving beneficial biomes alone. Should we dial back our showering to give pathogens a fighting chance?
No, we do not have to “come to terms” with this barbaric sub-culture. “Come to terms” implies that there is some possibility of a civilized solution. This sub-culture displays no evidence of civilization. It needs to be either rigidly controlled or totally eliminated.
Outstanding observation and commentary.
Hodge,
Good analysis. I would add the likelihood of all the usual suspect ‘white saviors’ to rush in and condemn any efforts along the reasonable line you described. What’s needed are basic bright line tests; do X and Y is the consequence …every time, no exceptions. Bring LEO into middle and high schools to work through scenarios of LEO contact with the community and what should happen v what dumbass choices are often made which escalate a minor citation into a felony arrest and/or use of force. End the foolish attempts of school districts to shield students from legal consequences and/or refuse to bring evenhanded discipline, suspension, expulsion. Fund the mental facilities needed to house those who refuse to control their emotions and act out. Someone screaming on the corner b/c reasons is not normal, shouldn’t be tolerated and needs to be evaluated to decide of they belong in Prison or a mental facility b/c they refuse to function within the norms of a civil society.
they still dont behave better after 7 decades of wht “leaders” turning america upside down to please them
“We would have a big increase in prisons…” Good. Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent. A recurring feature of today’s crime stories is how often the perp had been in the system for other crimes and nothing was done to keep them from reoffending, as in locking them up. Now someone is dead, who would otherwise still be alive. Eg, Irina Zarutska. The list is way too long.
This increase would be temporary imo, as people would finally respond to the new reality. They are not stupid. They are simply responding to the perverse incentives as have existed for decades– for their entire lives.
Incentives absolutely matter and definitely do impact behavior. For those determined to be undeterred …lengthy prison sentences and/or involuntary commitment in a mental facility will keep the uncivil sequestered from the rest of us.
Yep. If they can’t be civilized, they must be isolated. Not allowed to impact innocent lives.
Exactly.
And this smug arrogance is the PERFECT demonstration of why the leftist soft on crime BS is destined to fail.
Criminals aren’t grateful for a second chance and eager to turn their lives around.
They LAUGH at how stupid and weak you are to let them off like that.
Tl;dr version:
We don’t have a racial problem in the United States, we have a problem race. And until that problem is remedied we’ll continue to see ever increasing violence and stupidity from this racial group.
It’s much more about culture than it is about race.
Get rid of ghetto culture.
“Irate Karmelo Anthony Supporter Asks What to Tell Her ‘Five Boys’”
How about actions have consequences.
as if that’s should be a legitimate question from an intelligent person?
FAFO, to reduce it to a low intelligence catchphrase.
“What do you want us to do? … I’ve got five boys. I ain’t got nothing to tell them no more. You can’t walk away no more.”
Want to keep them out of prison? Tell them to use this one weird trick:
Walk away BEFORE you stab somebody else,
I’ve never been to prison, jail, or even holding. Out of my entire extended family, including in-laws, I know of only two members who have. How let’s talk about your five boys, woman — how many frequent flyer points have they racked up so far?
I bet that woman’s five sons are some real winners.
As are the five baby-daddies, surely
Assuming anybody knows who they are…
How many fathers? How many can be named?
“What do I tell my 5 boys?” Run it by your husband(s) for his input.
My mother raised me and my siblings by herself, and she did very well. We all went to college, my sister has a Phd., my brother owns a trucking line and I worked as a claims information system mgr for a Fortune 500 company. When we were faced with a decision, she would talk with us about the pros and cons of our decision, then, she would step back and allow us to make our own decision. If it turned out well, she would share with us in our happiness, but would not take the credit. If it turned out bad, she would allow us to pay the price for an unwise decision. That happened rarely but her holding our feet to the fire was wise.
Doesn’t seem that your mother told you that you were victims of some oppressor. It seems that the black culture in the U.S. always seems to believe that they are victims of the successful people in this nation which because of the racial population distribution are White or Asian.
See here’s the thing. SHE shouldn’t be telling her 5 boys how to be men. That’s their father’s (or fathers’?) job. And I’m guessing that’s the problem.
I teach my six sons how to be men. Not their mother.
Go tell them to ask their 5 fathers.
If they know who and where they are.
.
So far the whipping up the racial violence isn’t working for the socialist democrat communist party but we’ll see ; it’s a long summer.
Dante Henderson’s response is appropriate and I would be pleased to meet him IRL. Smart, wise, humility.
Here is another black blogger who does not defend Karmelo Anthony. They’re Defending Karmelo Anthony. Let’s Respond.
She includes video of TX Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, which begins @ around 3:00. Speak, TX Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett:
First point: While Austin Metcalf was bigger than Karmelo Anthony, he was not on top of Karmelo. Nor was Austin Metcalf beating on Karmelo. Which means that Jasmine Crockett does not accurately describe the Austin Metcalf/Karmelo Anthony situation.
Second point. I would agree with Congresswoman Crockett that if someone bigger than me were on top of me, and beating me up, I would be legally justified in being “not limited to fists.”
I can think of a situation some years back when a larger person was on top of a smaller person, beating up the small person, where the smaller person’s response was “not limited to fists.”
I refer to George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin. Trayvon Martin was 4″ taller than George Zimmerman, on top of George Zimmerman, and pounding his head into the pavement. George Zimmerman’s bloodied head was proof of that.
The jury acquitted George Zimmerman, so it saw some justification in George’s killing Trayvon Martin.
Would Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett agree that George Zimmerman was justified in doing what he did? I doubt it. Her position reminds me of Lenin’s “Who..Whom.” According to Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, it depends on who is doing the pounding.
First off and especially as a Texan, Jasmine Crockett is completely disgusting to me. In both cases she believes that the black person (Anthony and Martin) had every right to kill a non-black person even if the black person is the aggressor. It goes along with the trending problem of black people assaulting non-blacks calling them jurors in the Anthony trial even though they are in other counties than Collin County Texas or even in other states.
First off and especially as a Texan, Jasmine Crockett is completely disgusting to me.

What State do you reside in and how do y’all approach this sort of thing?
The hate white movement that is now out of control is a present from our first anti-American president, elected in 2008.
No, he was a symptom, not the cause.
Cause does not matter. Black resentment and racism was not acted out similarly. Symptom? To the contrary, he is more a product. He set resentment loose by planting rotten resentment seeds and then under his guidance cultivated the creation that has steadily grown into what is seen today. And now has greater support through progressive guilt he helped instill. All that is not a symptom.
No, he was the cause.
White liberals (and a lot of RINOs) elected him to “be nice” to the “first black president.”
He immediately established a formal victim/oppressor framework with his contretemps concerning the Cambridge cop. Then he reinforced it over and over and over,
America barely had a racial problem anymore prior to the Lightbringer.
He was an instigator more effective than Sharpton and his ilk. His inflaming of racial tensions alone merits an evaluation of worst president. It was divisive and unnecessary and accomplished nothing.
I’d say both. He never would have been elected if not for “Vote for me or you’re a racist.” And once in office, he used that lever as a prybar to claim that everybody who criticized him on policy grounds was a racist.
Keep in mind folks, Karmelo has 2 younger brothers. What do you think Karmelo’s parents are telling those 2 these days.
=======
@PostLiberal- If Crockett puts forth an accurate description of the whole incident, her argument fails.
=======
“avoidance” is one of the 5 basic tenets of self-defense; Karmelo destroyed his defense right at the beginning of the encounter. Plus, it was Karmelo who escalated a verbal confrontation into an armed one. He was dead in the water right from the start.
Karmelo could not use a stand-your-ground defense either.
Crockett is pulling a weak DARVO in this case, which requires lying about obvious facts that go against her, so it sounds pathetic. In short, Deny that Anthony was the aggressor, attack anybody who disagrees with fake racism charges, Reverse Victim and Offender.
What do I think she should tell them?
“Someday, at least 18 years in the future, you may find yourself sitting in the stands at a track meet. On that day, if a man, covered in prison ink, and calling himself Carmello Anthony sits next to you, you need at get up immediately and run as fast as you can.”
Karmelo’s knife is a Walmart special with a 3 1/2 blade. Jasmine Crocket says it wasn’t big enough…. well… looking at her DDD front balcony I can sympathize…. a 3 1/2 blade would get lost and the boob rebound would be disarming. If we are to blame whites for all of this… then Eli WHIT(n)E(y) and his Cotton ‘Gin are to blame….there….fixed it. If I had only known… I would have picked the d_m cotton myself.
It’s not OUR responsibility what to tell her to tell her sons. It’s HER job to raise them to either be contributing, responsible, and productive citizens or just end up as crooked, violent parasites on society as Karmelo Anthony did—as evidenced by the grift his parents played. They were after money, and they got it. I’m sure they’ve already shopped the story to multiple streaming services and studios, however I don’t believe Texas law allows them to profit from the commission of a crime. Even if it does, pretty sure a savvy attorney for the parents of Austin Metcalf is already filing the wrongful death lawsuit(s) in the appropriate venue to prevent monetization. And that woman just wants her 15 minutes of fame so she can see how many clicks she got on social media. Disgusting!
IMO it’s also an example of ‘crash out’ behavior complex/syndrome when any negative consequences arrive. The folks that engage in it seem determined to create chaos, causing a public disturbance, make life difficult for everyone in earshot for as long as possible, escalate from what should be a simple, normally peaceful minor event to felonies.
If I had my way when this occurs and what should require a single LEO to write a ticket, issue a summons suddenly needs reinforcements and EMS on scene the individual (s) responsible for the crash out should get the costs of those added to their costs assigned at conviction. It also, IMO, require change in LEO tactics. They got drop attempts to.scuffle a suspect into cuffs/out of a vehicle. Give the warning/lawful command and if they refuse break the window, fill the compartment with pepper spray. When the suspect emerges order them to submit to detention, if they refuse use a taser. Still refuse? Compliance strikes with a baton. Get them to the veg and they refuse to place legs inside? Strike their shin/ankle with a baton until they comply. The theme is that subject gotta comply and use of minor less than lethal force is gonna be used to gain compliance. If it caused extra paperwork and overtime to complete it…add the costs to the fines issued. Put folks into jail for lack of compliance. If they start hooping and hollering, irrational screaming arrest them for public disturbance and get them a 72 hour psych hold/evaluation. Six months of that should send the message loud and clear about consequences.
Yes, but will she want to hear the answers?
There are always comments from black people about giving their children especially their sons the talk. Doesn’t seem to often take but that is another matter. It seems to me that white parents should also be giving their children the talk.
The white parent talk would be how to interact with an unknown or little known black person. They should always be wary of possible violent tendencies and minimal self-control. They should never escalate an interaction and be prepared to run away,
I myself could have benefited from such a talk in at least one instance.
I believe this is the talk you are referring to:
https://www.takimag.com/article/the_talk_nonblack_version_john_derbyshire/
“What do you want us to do?”
Don’t do the crime, so you won’t do the time.
“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.” Booker T. Washington
