The Left Calls Kirk Memorial a ‘Festival of Hate,’ and Attendees ‘Fascists’

All Democrats had to do was allow Republicans one day to gather to pay their final respects to Charlie Kirk, a party giant who was gunned down eleven days earlier by a left-wing lunatic who disagreed with his political views.
But they simply couldn’t help themselves. Perhaps the global outpouring of love and compassion for Kirk in the days since his death has gotten to them. Yet rather than offering their own tributes or remaining silent, many felt the need to pass judgment on the events of the day.
The Huffington Post called it a “Ragefest” and took aim at President Donald Trump’s “Hate Eulogy.”
As you’ve probably heard, Erika Kirk forgave her husband’s killer during her speech. The left-wing outlet faulted Trump for describing him as a “radicalized, cold-blooded monster.”
Well, the suspect is a radicalized, cold-blooded monster, is he not?

Podcaster David Pakman weighed in on X, “The Charlie Kirk funeral is absolutely disgusting, riddled with speeches that only dial up the temperature. Stephen Miller’s was particularly vile.”

Journalist Seth Abramson must have read about the memorial on the Huff Post site. He took to Blue Sky to write, “I have never seen a festival of hate like what is happening in Arizona today. Every speaker sounds like they want to genocide more than half of America.”
In a second post, he wrote:

For his part, ABC’s Jonathan Karl told viewers, “The murder of Charlie Kirk was not a political act. It was a gruesome crime.” Of course it was a political act.
During a text message exchange after the assassination, suspect Tyler Robinson confessed to his trans boyfriend Lance Twiggs he was the killer. Twiggs asked, “Why?”
Robinson replied, “I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.” [The full exchange can be viewed here.]
FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News last week, “[Robinson’s] family has collectively told investigators that he subscribed to left-wing ideology. He claimed that he had an opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and he was going to do it, because of his hatred for what Charlie stood for.”
Additionally, there were political messages engraved on the bullet casings.

Like it or not, Kirk was highly revered among conservatives and his political assassination struck a nerve in America. His murder was not just a tragedy but an assault on the nation’s core values.
The Left has handled the situation poorly. From individuals celebrating Kirk’s death on social media, to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez labeling him “ignorant and uneducated” in a floor speech, and Jimmy Kimmel spreading false claims about the killer’s political ties, Democrats would be better served by steering clear of the topic altogether.

Seriously, how could you watch Erika Kirk speak and conclude that what she said was hateful? You can’t.
No, I think VDH is correct. Something happened when Charlie took his last breath.
And I also think that the words of Cardinal Dolan are apt as well. Charlie was indeed a modern day Saint Paul.
But that is just my opinion drawn from observations over a couple of weeks. It’ll be years before the smoke clears and we see the true effects.

I do think America has a serious problem and I’m thankful the “both sides” jargon is being smacked down. That enabling apologist language needs to never return.
We have a multi-generational crop of rabid dogs running loose and who have been amped up to be violent and even murder that which the voices on their screens deem to be wrong think.
The distance one has to travel from being a rational human being to firing shots into building towards people you don’t even know and who have never wronged you personally is a big chasm. Once you travel that distance, the return journey to being a rational well adjusted human with self awareness and introspection is a narrow humiliating path not travelled. The biggest among us would have trouble with that path. It’s unlikely they will take it.
I think the outcome of this is that we are heading into an ice age where the only alternative to violence is 1) being a very hard target 2) icing these people out of civil society and conversation. Their intent is causing civil war.
No reasonable employer wants these people working for them. No place of higher ed should be coddling them. As the bullets through the ABC building show us, blue states and blue cities are right in line with the agenda.
I don’t know what this means other than a lot of people are going to feel the brunt of their rage. I am thankful for the moment our political leadership has the upper hand.

I would very much like these leftist hate mongers to spontaneously combust preferably while on tv or a podcast. It would be absolutely glorious. My tolerance for them expired 10-15 years ago.
DW told me recently that she’s been seeing a lot of postings from leftists raging on about what pigs the attendees were at Charlie Kirk’s memorial. “The whole stadium parking lot was covered with trash from one end to the other.”
I remarked that this didn’t sound like any right wing event that I’ve ever heard of before.
She informed me of the actual scoop, from a friend of hers who actually attended.
Ticket holders were told they would be standing in line for 3 to 4 hours outside, and they needed to bring food and drink with them for that period. When they arrived, there were no trash cans anywhere due to security concerns, and they were told not to worry, to just drop the wrappers where they stood, because management had already contracted a large cleanup team to take care of it. No one was actually admitted with more than their phone, keys, and wallet. The elderly who had brought folding chairs with them for the wait were told to leave them outside as they entered.
When the service was over, the audience left the stadium to find the parking lot spotlessly clean, and their walkers and personal items assembled neatly in a corner of the lot to be reclaimed. And of course, no incidents were reported of anyone walking away with stuff other than what they brought.

I support home schooling and transferring the money normally going to the schools to the parents teaching. A group of parents could gang their cash together and hire teachers and probably have half the money left.
