RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel Will Step Down After Super Tuesday

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel Will Step Down After Super Tuesday

“I have decided to step aside at our Spring Training on March 8 in Houston to allow our nominee to select a Chair of their choosing.”

Ronna McDaniel will resign as RNC chairwoman after Super Tuesday. Here is her full statement:

“It has been the honor and privilege of my life to serve the Republican National Committee for seven years as Chairwoman to elect Republicans and grow our Party. Some of my proudest accomplishments include firing Nancy Pelosi, winning the popular vote in 2022, creating an Election Integrity Department, building the committee’s first small dollar grassroots donor program, strengthening our state parties through our Growing Republican Organizations to Win program, expanding the Party through minority outreach at our community centers, and launching Bank Your Vote to get Republicans to commit to voting early.

“I have decided to step aside at our Spring Training on March 8 in Houston to allow our nominee to select a Chair of their choosing. The RNC has historically undergone change once we have a nominee and it has always been my intention to honor that tradition. I remain committed to winning back the White House and electing Republicans up and down the ballot in November. I want to thank my husband Patrick, our children Abigail and Nash, the members of the 168 who elected me four times, President Trump for giving me the opportunity to lead our Party, as well as the RNC staff and donors who have supported me and our mission over the years.”

Co-chair Drew McKissick also resigned.

We knew McDaniel would step down after a leak to The New York Times earlier this month.

Are you guys ready for a possible Trump takeover of the GOP? Former President Donald Trump will (likely) be the 2024 nominee.

Trump backs Michael Whatley, the North Carolina GOP chairman, for RNC chairman, and his daughter-in-law Lara as the new co-chair.

“Nuff said.

I thought she was stepping down after South Carolina,

Leaving after Super Tuesday?

“Com’n, guys, lemme screw up a really big one. Like Tessio said, ‘for old times’ sake.'”

Related: the Koch’s pulling out of Nikki Haley.

She still there? Gawd, she’s like those celebrities who keep whining about expatriating themselves if a Republican candidate wins, but never actually go.

How long before she’s co-hosting a show with Michael Steele on MSNBC that does nothing but discuss how ‘extreme’ Republicans are today?

If she had put the party above herself she would have done this long ago.

She won’t be missed.

destroycommunism | February 26, 2024 at 11:21 am

this is crucial

not just some changing of the guard

with the gop rino dem party working full time and overtime to

keep the sheep corralled

the chair will either be a “confident” of the uniparty

or truly be a PRO AMERICA MAGA

this is nottt a throw away job/story!!!

destroycommunism | February 26, 2024 at 11:26 am

her problem was the deep division of the rino vs the few still remaining pro american maga’s

she was trying to please,,like a politician or someone who just wants to keep their job does, 2 sides

the left of center gop or the

newly formed maga

THATS THE REALLLLL “DIVISIONS”

THE REAL “DIVISIVENESS”

the left is in basic agreement that the sheep must be pushed further into oblivion iffff white and that poc time has come to ruin …run the country

as the fear of the streets a burning is now

all to real

but the RIGHT WING??

ahahahahah

its been over since the fdr takeover

and the rights continued shutting out of good people from allll different walks of life

TRUMP CHANGED THAT!

black males want to desperately vote for trump as do the family orientated latinos along with about 30-40% of whites

She has done an outstanding job during her tenure as RNC chairwoman. Republicans, particularly grass roots conservatives, were mobilized and energized. The Party made great gains in the House and Senate, and that success translated to state legislatures and governor offices. Further, the GOP is focused like never before, putting out messages on kitchen table issues that are reaching voters on both sides of the aisle, and in all age, race, gender, and religious groups.

Oh! Sorry! I just couldn’t wait until April 1st!

I like my undeserving, loud-mouthed chicks to be a hell of a lot hotter.

The establishment RINOs never cared about winning.

But she was horrific at her actual 2 jobs they cared about

1) keeping the money flowing
2) beating Trump

This is the worst fundraising year they’ve had in decades, and a huge amount of donors have been publicly and explicitly saying they’ll never give another dime to the RNC if Romney’s niece continued there.

Far too late, of course, too many eyes have been opened to the trash that is the RNC.

“You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go.”

Well, Donald Trump endorsed her to be the RNC chairwoman, so she had that going for her. Another one of dozens and dozens of incredibly stupid endorsements and appointments that Trump did. If Trump is re-elected, I sincerely doubt that his stupidity will be any different. I hope I am wrong.

She didn’t “resign”, she was fired, not by the MAGA folks. She was fired by the GOP money men because she failed at the only job she was tasked with –
STOP TRUMP.
