FOX News Expanding Greg Gutfeld Show to 11 PM Slot Monday Through Friday
“A comedic hour featuring parodies on current events and signature monologues, The Greg Gutfeld Show has continued to outpace its late night competition since launching in 2015.”
The Greg Gutfeld Show, which has enjoyed great rating success at 10 PM on Saturday nights, is now being expanded to air Monday through Friday night at 11 PM.
This is great news for anyone who wants an alternative to other late-night shows which now cater exclusively to the radical left.
FOX News put out a press release yesterday:
FOX News Channel’s Hit Late Night Program The Greg Gutfeld Show Moves to Weeknights at 11 PM/ET
FOX News Channel’s (FNC) hit primetime Saturday talk show The Greg Gutfeld Show hosted by Greg Gutfeld will expand to a full weeknight schedule, announced FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott. The program will launch in the second quarter of 2021 and air weeknights at 11 PM/ET, followed by FOX News @ Night, which will move to 12 AM/ET, increasing the hours of live and original programming on FNC to 21 per weekday. A replacement primetime weekend program for Gutfeld’s 10PM/ET Saturday evening show will be announced at a later date.
In making the announcement, Ms. Scott said, “People need a reason to laugh. Greg’s unique and irreverent talk show has been an incredible success, often beating the late night broadcast competition, despite its Saturday timeslot. With one of the most loyal and engaged audiences in cable news, we’re thrilled to bring the show to weekday primetime and further solidify Greg’s place among late night television stars.”
Mr. Gutfeld added, “This feels like the perfect next step following the amazing success of the weekend show, which is due in large part to a great staff and a management that lets the show follow its own unique path. Every day someone comes up to me to ask when are we going nightly, so now that we are, there will be approximately 3 million people who will claim it’s their idea!”
A comedic hour featuring parodies on current events and signature monologues, The Greg Gutfeld Show has continued to outpace its late night competition since launching in 2015. In 2020, the program delivered its highest rated year on record, and was the most-watched weekend show in the key younger demo in all of cable news (2.5 million Total Viewers; 400,000 in the 25-54 demo). The Greg Gutfeld Show also surpassed various late-night programs airing on broadcast in total viewers, including ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and NBC’s The Tonight Show.
Gutfeld is going to continue to appear on The Five at 5 PM in addition to his new duties. As the report above mentions, FOX News @ Night is moving to midnight. It does not say whether or not Shannon Bream will continue to host but we’ll assume she is until we hear otherwise.
FOX News has struggled with ratings on some of their programs since election night as many fans were angered by their early call of Arizona for Biden while delaying calls for clear Trump wins in Texas and other states.
Like Tucker Carlson, Greg Gutfeld is one of the network’s hosts who has managed to avoid the scorn of Trump supporters and other FOX News fans.

There’s more to it than that.
Fox has gone full left while keeping a handful of starts like Tucker and Greg to keep ratings from imploding further.
Let them implode. Not one red cent for the progressive Murdochs
Feel bad for Greg and Tucker, but Wallace and the rest of the ownership and board hate them and want to destroy them while using them to turn a buck
Let the whole network burn to the ground
Cathago delenda est
(figuratively speaking)
re: The Murdochs? See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morlock and substitute Murdoch for Morlock and it is spot on. 🙂
That’s so inaccurate. Name me a single “hard left” show from 5 PM to 11 PM, when the vast majority of viewers attend and money is made by any of the cable news networks.
I’m not arguing the execs moved aspects leftward. But your exaggeration is almost as bad as what the left does for every cultural entity that doesn’t perfectly align. Destroy and ban.
The 5pm-11pm slot was geared to the “conservative” audience at Fox news. It corresponds to when this demographic begins to get home from work. Fox scheduling has always been based upon the available demographic in certain time slots. And, it was brilliant. The early morning shows have a conservative bias. Then the lat morning and afternoon shows take on a much more liberal bias. The % swings back to the conservative audience with the 6pm-7pm giving the appearance of moderate, largely unbiased, straight news reporting. 8pm ushers in the evening conservative bias. Then more “straight news” from 11pm on.
However, this does not mean that Fox is “conservative” at all. In the evening line up, you have Tucker Carlson. Carlson is not a conservative. He is a liberal libertarian and strongly anti-government. Sean Hannity is a moderate Republican shill with RINO tendencies. His guests are usually heavily weighted with RINO politicians. Laura Ingraham is a typical Republican “conservative”. They only appear to be “conservative” when compared to the off-the-reservation liberal political bomb throwers of the other cable news networks.
What really hurt Fox, was that they showed their true colors, by supporting the election night coup. This sunk Shannon Bream, hurt Martha McCallum’s brand and would have sunk Bret Baier, except for the fact that he has the Five for a lead-in and is the presumptive successor to Brit Hume. Following that, Fox lost the late night lead-in, provided by Bream. So, they are going to attempt to jump start that by expanding Gutfeld into the weeknight 11pm slot.
It is all about the demographics. Fox is still the largely liberal news organization that it has always been. It simply forgot to follow the business model on election night.
Fox does this game where they pat you with their left hand, and rob you with their right hand. Just ask Lou Dobbs.
Remember: rino scumbag Paul Ryan is on the board of directors of Fox News.
It’s all a delaying action. While they’re distracting us some laughs, they’re planning our enslavement.
PDJT should start a new political party (for sure), but also a news network, and hire away all the conservative stars. Fox can then die on the vine, taking Ryan’s job with it.

Boycott all of them.
And stay away from their theme parks.
Good luck Greg! We will be watching
I like Greg.
I’ll never watch him again as long as he is part of Faux news.
You’re right.
Waiting for Trump to start his own network. Tick, tick, tick…
I’ve tried watching his show. It’s just not for me. Than again I’ve never been a fan of comedic talk shows of any type.
I liked him when he’s on The Five and slapping around Juan Williams.
Of course even if I found the show hilarious I’d never watch it. The only reason you can find Fox News on my DirecTV is that I’m too lazy to go block it.
I’ll do what I do for Tucker Carlson and The Five. Watch the occasional clip on non-Fox YouTube channels.

This is your take away for why Fox has crashed and burned Mike??? ???
I dunno, maybe it’s just a “Liberal writers” thing but it’s like you clowns have no fucking idea why Fox has crashed and burned as badly as it has! ?
Best oral short essayist and humorist on TV. Nobody wittier, or intrinsically more decent. Hey, you go, guy!
He’ll get the axe like Lou Dobbs did, sooner or later.
He no longer fits in with MSNBFOX News’ culture.
Apparently, the personality cult claims made by writers for the Benedict Arnold Online, others in the grip of David Frenchism, and their camp followers are wrong. Maybe people not in the grip of terminal TDS simply dislike being lectured by bougie pundits and self-declared elites that welcome the likes of John Weaver in their midst?
Gutfeld is great….glad to see this.
I haven’t watched FNC since the Wallace/Trump debate. I watch Newsmax some, OANN, and RT–if I want to see pure anti-Americanism. Not the disguised stuff you see on CNN/MSNBC/etc. And now FNC.
