Report: Seattle Rioters Tried to Burn Police Officers Alive By Sealing Precinct Door Shut
“Photos show the criminals also destroyed the electronic key card off the door, presumably to stop people from getting inside the building.”
Seattle radio host Jason Rantz reported that the Seattle Police Department confirmed rioters probably used “quick-dry concrete to seal shut the door to the East Precinct.”
Another rioter tied to set the building on fire.
Rantz wrote that the ATF has become involved in the investigation:
As some in the crowd vandalized the building and tormented police, others brought quick dry cement to seal police officers inside the building.
The criminals at the 12th street entrance reportedly mixed what is suspected to be cement mix and water in a bucket with a wooden stick before applying it to the door. Photos show the criminals also destroyed the electronic key card off the door, presumably to stop people from getting inside the building.
On the East Pine Street side of the East Precinct, the criminals started a fire. The intent appeared to be to burn the building with the officers inside.
A source told Rantz that police officers kicked down the door to escape. The rioters “may have used too much water in the cement mixture.”
The police arrested one suspect following a manic Monday, which included numerous incidents of vandalism:
Police began monitoring a protest that marched from Cal Anderson Park just after 9 PM Monday. The group made their way to the West Precinct where some individuals began hurling objects at the building causing minor damage and broken windows as well as painting graffiti on the walls. A nearby coffee shop also sustained some damage as some people smashed the plate glass windows.
The group then made their way back east and continued to protest outside the East Precinct. Some individuals there climbed over a chain-link fence and set a fire next to the building. Police moved in and began issuing commands for the crowd to disperse and took one person into custody for investigation of arson.
Seattle has witnessed many incidents since the death of George Floyd in late May. It’s not many people in these riots, but it’s enough to ruin a city.
Rioters vandalized the statue of former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, who committed suicide a few years ago. Someone threw white paint all over the statue, which sits in front of the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle.
Andrea and Joe Raetzer told The Daily Caller they had to close their business Steepologie Teas over safety concerns:
“We were putting all of our resources into this business, we are not funded by anyone else, everything put into the business came out of our pocket,” Andrea told the Daily Caller. “This hurts, but it was absolutely necessary to take a stand and say we can no longer be put at risk nor can our team members.”
The lack of police presence and the recent uptick in crime in the downtown area will push many more businesses out of the area, the Raetzer’s told the Caller.

Let me guess…the liberal media thought pigs in a blanket…fry ’em like bacon was just poetic license?
We’re past the point where “Shoot to Kill” would be appropriate. We can’t let them keep attempting murder.
Ignorant savages.
They can’t mix quickset according to the directions? They never thought that the building security system might have off-premise access so the card access stations could be bypassed and the doors unlocked remotely?
Malevolent fools.
.
Not only… but they “painted” it across the door and adjoining wall like drywall mud, as if it were some sort of a super-adhesive instant security wall kit. Even Wile E. Coyote would have passed on this as being just too stupid.
We’re long past the point when the ass kicking should commence.
But…the way I see it PDT doesn’t want to give the Dems any “sight bytes” of “his fascist police violating the rights of the people”.
However, since he probably won’t pull that trigger, the next stage of the prog campaign against him will be to finally shriek that PDT is NOT DOING ENOUGH to STOP THE VIOLENCE!
Of course, this will only happen as the polls turn against the progs. And they will be counting on the stupidity and cluelessness of a majority of the electorate to just blindly accept their shrieking.
the next stage of the prog campaign against him will be to finally shriek that PDT is NOT DOING ENOUGH to STOP THE VIOLENCE!
To which the obvious response is, neither have the Democrat governors and mayors. Trump has offered federal assistance in quelling the rioting several times, but the local governments have always spurned the offer.
So if that’s their plan, it’s a sure loser.
Depends on which network is doing the reporting, I reckon.
Under Federalism, it’s up to the nimrods in the Northwest to secure their jurisdictions….we’ve gotten too used to Uncle Sugar stepping in every time some event creates a bad situation somewhere in the US. Oregon and Washington wanted to be the Austin of the Northwest, and they’re reaping what they’ve sowed all these years.
If Inslee and the mayor of Seattle don’t want the help, then DJT is doing exactly what Federalism was designed to do….let the States handle their own domestic tranquility, or lack thereof.
Looking at the picture, I don’t think they know how concrete works.
It’s still attempted murder.
Yes, no matter how incompetent, it’s still attempted murder.
Damn right. If holding up a liquor store with a toy gun is “armed robbery” (hint: it is), then what those terrorists committed is indeed attempted murder.
That’s an awfully thin coat. Almost as if they were going to patch the hole in the drywall where they’d ripped out the card reader and decided to smear some on the door handle instead because, you know, “let’s trash this place”.
Thank God they don’t teach industrial arts in high schools anymore.
Wouldn’t matter if they did. These are the kind of people who hold themselves in very high esteem and would not have paid attention to anything so mundane as shop class.
They are thinkers, don’t’cha know.
I often feel we have been very fortunate that the opposition is so often incompetent in real world matters.
To be fair, some of the smartest people who ever lived were communists. The reason the USSR was able to build an atom bomb so soon after WWII was that there were a bunch of brilliant physicists who’d worked on the Manhattan Project who were devotees of Karl Marx and therefor willing to spill military secrets to the Reds. So it’s not that communists are necessarily unintelligent, but they tend lack a practical knowledge of the world.
The rioters “may have used too much water in the cement mixture.”
It doesn’t matter how much water you mix in, it takes a while to dry. Also, cement is not a good bonding material for that sort of application.
So, yeah, I think – like almost any other matter involving creation and useful hands-on skills – they really don’t understand concrete.
Yup.
Tere is far more than concrete that they are ignorant about.
These employees of George Soros must be eliminated
What about Soros?
Have PDJT at a press conference just keep announcing that he has offered assistance and that “say all names and offices every time” have assured me that all is well, under their control, and that the assistance of the Federal Government is not needed. As long as he does his due diligence, the results are the responsibilities of others.
PDJT doesn’t need an invite to enforce violations of Federal Law of which arson, murder, attempted or otherwise are two.
Only in certain, limited circumstances. You can’t be prosecuted by the federal gov’t for any ol’ murder. It has to cross state lines or occur on a federal installation or such. Same with arson.
Given that it has been reported that much of this activity is organized and backed by outside resources – “pallets of bricks”, payments to protesters, busing of rioters in, etc – I keep asking myself why RICO is not being applied. Is it not applicable or is DOJ and AG Barr also corrupt? Even if RICO is not applicable, where is the DOJ Civil Rights division with respect to the rights of all the citizens – many Black – whose lives and businesses are being destroyed?
RICO isn’t as easy to apply as some think. But there certainly is a criminal conspiracy here (several probably) and it should be prosecuted.
I keep asking why an FBI that is always so efficient in infiltrating “right wing militias” consisting of high-school trisomy victims meeting in the town library to play D&D, haven’t yet managed to show any interest in a national, communist-financed, ISIS-trained group of hundreds of urban terrorists.
The door opened outward. So a nice large lump of properly prepared concrete mix dumped on the existing concrete slap floor would have sealed the door effectively, once it set. Slapping a thin layer of concrete on the door would not have accomplished anything.
Thank God for incompetence — these rioters have never worked as handymen. Good thing they didn’t have any Brown laborers in the mob. All of my Mexican/Hispanic workers are multi-talented and know concrete!
People who know about concrete wouldn’t be getting involved in this kind of thing. They have jobs.
Drill a hole onto the concrete 1’, pour a strong glue and stick a steel bar in the hole and wait for glue to dry.
They were seriously concerned that if the police had any cans of black paint inside, they could just paint a train tunnel on the wall and escape anyway.
When will the police start uding deadly force in self-defense against these terrorists?
I believe that deadly force is permitted to prevent first-degree arson of an occupied building. I’m certain that the politicians in charge ordered the police not to use deadly force.
They may have ordered the police not to use less-lethal force as well. It seems as though the police union would have a legitimate grievance against the city administration for preventing the police from defending themselves against attempted murder by arson and IEDs.
Actually, locking them in the building is equivalent to kidnapping, and is a violent felony. That right there is adequate justification.
When they decide to stop taking paychecks from communist mayors. In other words, never.
The police should be using deadly force, probably, at this point.
However, a boatload of bean bag rounds, truncheons and shields, and a strategy of quickly surrounding and cutting off the rioters, and mass arresting them would work. IFF, someone set up a nice camp to put them in and keep them out of the normal local “justice” system so they can’t be set free to riot again.
IFF = If, and only if
Arresting them will only need to repeat offences. I cannot think of a better way to improve the gene pool than taking these people out.
Especially since the commie mayors will just ensure they are bailed (or even PRed) out on the streets again before the concrete dries.
Charge them with a federal crime like violating civil rights or rebellion and put them in federal custody.
Nah. Leave it all in the hands of the commie mayors, then nuke them with Trump campaign ads.
Pinko commie leftists are good at some things but killing isn’t one of them. Back in the ’60s the most deadly bombing carried out by the Weather Underground killed three of the groups own members and nobody else.
Police should deploy “scoops” like the movie “Soylent Green”
They really do want war but might think this is a game. It’s not I hope.
Concrete mixing instructions for the left:
Loot 2 five gallon Homer buckets from Home Depot and 2 – 60 lb bags of FastSet Quickrete.
Empty 1 bag of Quickrete into each 5 gallon bucket.
Add 3 quarts of water to each bucket.
Remove shoes and socks, insert 1 foot into each bucket and mix by stepping up and down, repeatedly.
Continue mixing until Quickrete sets up, about 30 minutes.
Enjoy.
You forgot the last step:
After all that hard work, go jump in the lake to cool off.
They failed this time. They will learn. Next time, if not stopped in their tracks, they’ll wind up killing people.
They already have.
Why is it that no one ever stands up to the Left?
Because they’ve captured the institutions – particularly the legal system – in so many places. And that makes standing up very dangerous to your continued easy existence.
When is the real shooting going to start, so we can get this over with and eliminate these murderous scumbags and move on with our lives?
We’ve found our next Bill Ayers.
When the police refuse to stop the rioters do the citizens have the right to do it?
The legal right, or the moral right? We, according to our founding documents, already have the moral right to take back matters into our own hands (since we grant the power to the gov’t to start with).
But, until we fully do so, the legal system will persecute anyone standing up against the mob.
Yes. But they’d better budget extra for simultaneously taking on the police… plus a lagniappe appropriated for taking out the commies giving the police their marching orders.
This will not be like liberating a grateful France — it will be like liberating an uncooperative Philippines.
