Gillum Concedes Florida Governor Race to DeSantis
It’s déjà vu all over again
Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum (D) has conceded the Florida governor race. Again.
Democrat Andrew Gillum conceded Saturday to GOP challenger Ron DeSantis in their contentious race in Florida for the governor’s mansion.
The announcement from Gillum, the mayor of Tallahassee, came via a Facebook Live post made alongside his wife.
Gillum said he wanted “to congratulate Mr. DeSantis on becoming the next governor of the great state of Florida.”
Gillum also tweeted about his concession.
Most importantly, from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for being part of this campaign. I wouldn’t be here without the support that was shown by millions of Floridians. I encourage y’all to keep fighting for what we believe in.

Governor-elect DeSantis responded with a message of unity.
This was a hard-fought campaign. Now it’s time to bring Florida together. https://t.co/I1hB0vd3kb

One down and one to go.
Gillum keeps misspelling his own name. It is Gollum. He continues to talk to himself of his ‘precious,’ the race card.
As icing on the cake, maybe the FBI will continue its investigation of his corruption.
Thanks, now go away gillum. Cuba desperately needs politicians like you.
DeSantis will not be the next Governor of Florida. Instead it will be the current Lt Gov. The reason is that Gov Scott will resign to be sworn in as Florida’s next Senator on Jan 3 whereas the new Gov is sworn in on Jan 8.
