Mike Rogers Calls Out the Media for Continually Defending Abdul El-Sayed
“Listen, I get you guys want to defend this guy. But I think it’s unbelievable that you would not hold him accountable for his beliefs”
Mike Rogers, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Michigan, appeared on Meet the Press on Sunday and called out the media for their ongoing defense of Democrat candidate Abdul El-Sayed.
When it comes to allegations of his family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, the media is perfectly happy to just take El-Sayed’s word for everything. They ask him about it, he says no, and they just move on as if it’s settled business.
If you watch the clip below, and you should, it is as if Rogers is speaking to someone who works on El-Sayed’s campaign, not a journalist.
Transcript via Real Clear Politics:
KRISTEN WELKER: Let me ask you about one of the big issues that you’ve raised in this campaign, which is Abdul El-Sayed, your challenger’s background. President Trump posted overnight calling Abdul El-Sayed “a Muslim Brotherhood Jihadist who hates Jews and Blacks and Americans.” As you know, there’s no evidence to support any of those claims. Do you agree with the president, Congressman? Yes or no?
FMR. REP. MIKE ROGERS: Boy, I don’t understand the national press. They have to work and twist themselves in knots not to understand Abdul’s relationship with the thinking of the Muslim Brotherhood.
When you write a letter, supporting of Morsi in 2012 and 2013 saying you should “purge the police” and “purge the media,” and by the way, he will not answer this question. Look at The New York Times, who said, “He just won’t answer this question,” there’s a reason. He is getting money from groups that support the Muslim Brotherhood. Group money from groups that support Hamas and Hezbollah. That’s a thinking issue. I wore the uniform of the United States, Kristen, so that people could vote any way that they want to in this country. It’s not how you pray, it’s how you think. And that has a consequence.
KRISTEN WELKER: Congressman, he has denied and denounced the Muslim Brotherhood and denied any ties to them. For context, I just want to –
FMR. REP. MIKE ROGERS: Nope, he has not. He dismissed the question –
KRISTEN WELKER: He did in an interview with me — he said he had no ties to the Muslim Brotherhood–
FMR. REP. MIKE ROGERS: He won’t answer The New York Times, he won’t answer a local newspaper. I just don’t buy that.
KRISTEN WELKER: Let’s talk about the 2012 letter. I want give folks some context. In 2012, Egyptians were rising up –
FMR. REP. MIKE ROGERS: Listen, I get you guys want to defend this guy. But I think it’s unbelievable that you would not hold him accountable for his beliefs– and what he thinks America ought to look like–
KRISTEN WELKER: Let me just give some context. We have held him accountable, we’ve asked him hard questions.
Watch this and note how combative Welker is with Rogers:
“I get you guys want to defend this guy.” @MikeRogersForMI: “I wish you would have done this for Abdul El Sayed. That would have been a great interview. But what you’re doing now is trying to twist this thing to defend your position for letting him lie to you.”@kwelkernbc: “I… pic.twitter.com/F3NsUzQ2J4

This observation from Stephen L. Miller is 100% accurate.
So just to understand this right – @kwelkernbc asked more questions about Abdul El-Sayed's Muslim Brotherhood connections to Mike Rogers than she actually did to Abdul El-Sayed. https://t.co/02sbOxjz1L

I have said this before, but it bears repeating.
The left is deeply invested in this race because it is a test. They think that if they can drag El-Sayed across the finish line in Michigan, they can run candidates like this and win anywhere else in the country.

The all seeing news maggots we have in America. They aren’t smart enough to wipe their own behind. They are constantly trying to tear down America. Freedom of the press could destroy our country.
Don’t go so easy on them.
Not feeling the love, Mike?
Great — there’s nothing wrong with your perceptions.
I’d never heard of this Whelper broad before, but as with all of the msm trash, she’s communist garbage working to screw up our Constitutional Republic.
“As you know, there’s no evidence to support any of those claims“
What a lying a-hole. Perhaps PFJ, Prostitute For Jihad, better defines her.
I don’t think the Clark Kent glasses improve Ms. Welker’s appearance.
It bears repeating:
No matter how much you think you hate the media, you can’t hate them enough.
And that is putting it mildly.
“KRISTEN WELKER: He did in an interview with me — he said he had no ties to the Muslim Brotherhood–
FMR. REP. MIKE ROGERS: He won’t answer The New York Times, he won’t answer a local newspaper.”
He answered you because he had you correctly pegged as a willingly gullible newswhore who would never dare commit actual journalism with any of the answers he gave you,
Those plastic stunt glasses doesn’t make this midwit any smarter. She still has to open her mouth. She did everything in that Sayed interview but give him a lap dance and ask him for a date.
On a scale of wits from ranging high to low I would not rate her as mid.
“She did everything in that Sayed interview but give him a lap dance and ask him for a date.”
That part was edited out.

There’s only one reason why the media embraces the islamification of America: their hatred for our country as founded and governed by traditional Christian values and Godly heritage knows no bounds…and they want EVERY vestige of those traditional Christian values and heritage annihilated.
