Abdul El-Sayed’s Black Voter Problem in Michigan Looks Real

“I couldn’t, in my right mind, vote for this guy.”

Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed isn’t connecting with Black voters in Michigan. We saw this begin during the Democratic primary, but the issue persists for him.

Dana Perino of FOX News interviewed two Black Democrats from Pontiac, MI, this week who both support Republican Mike Rogers. They are both politically active and have served on their city council.

The fascinating thing here is that neither of them is holding their nose to vote for Rogers. They both seem to genuinely like him. It’s a fascinating conversation.

Watch the whole thing:

Democrats have responded by sending former President Obama to the state to campaign for El-Sayed. That’s not going exactly as planned.

From FOX News:

Former President Barack Obama’s endorsement of Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed is getting a mixed reception among Black voters in Detroit, with some undecided voters saying the former president’s backing isn’t enough to win them over.

Fox News Digital spoke with more than a dozen Black voters in Detroit, most of whom said they plan to back El-Sayed in November, but several undecided voters said Obama’s endorsement had not persuaded them to support the Democrat. The reactions come as Republican Senate nominee Mike Rogers seeks to win over disaffected Democrats, including Black voters in Detroit, a key constituency for the party in Michigan.

“Honestly, it’s a turn-off just because I’ve seen too many candidates use him just to manipulate the Democratic vote,” Mercedes, one undecided Black voter, told Fox News Digital of Obama’s endorsement.

“No, not at all,” Anthony, another undecided Black voter, told Fox News Digital when asked if Obama’s endorsement had swayed him toward El-Sayed. “What he’s been able to do is from an image standpoint, as far as ‘hope,’ he drove the point there. But as far as really giving back to the community, minority owned businesses, and everyone across the board, I don’t really think he really got there for me … he really hasn’t swayed me one way or another.”…

Juanita, another Black voter who has yet to commit to El-Sayed, told Fox News Digital that, “I don’t want to be pushed to vote for him because somebody else is backing him.”

Ah yes, good ol fashioned d/prog behavior on full display, taking ‘black’ voters support for granted b/c the d/prog sincerely believe ‘blacks’ are happy on the plantation.

The insistence on creating/fostering tribalism and a spoils system is beginning to bite the leftists in the butt. The ‘white’ establishment d/prog mandarins have for decades told ‘blacks’ and hispanics to ‘wait their turn’ to gain political power/office. Now they’re full throated in support behind a guy named …El-Sayed? A guy backing the DSA ‘Medicare for all’ nonsense which would gut private healthcare plans INCLUDING Union negotiated healthcare plans? Lots of tribes in the d/prog coalition being cast aside to back El-Sayed.

Vote For A Muslim

Make America Mecca

If the negroe wants to talk about reparations, or more accurately retribution, he should be looking at the mussel men, because they enslaved him WAY before uncle cracker did.

You have to ask how Fox went about finding these people, and whether they really are representative of the black voters in general. I have reservations. When I was a kid there were Arabs and there was Islam. Then in the mid to late 60s there were Muslims. Black Muslims. They came out of the prisons and the riots and rebellions. Cassius Clay became Mohammed Ali. Lew Alcindor became Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. And now it’s the de-facto standard (along with African sounding names). It might be difficult to separate decades of affinity with Islam via the Black Muslim culture and get blacks to distance themselves from Abdul El-Sayed.

Pardon my skepticism. They voted something like 95 percent for Obama who has zero in common with slave stock black Americans other than, sort of, skin color.
No way they vote for a white guy in any substantial numbers

Terrorist-adjacent fake doctor Muslim with a big mouth and a verifiable attitude problem vs. Experienced middle of the road sane Republican white guy. Advantage Rogers.

How’s he doing with the Jewish vote?

Why do you capitalize “black?”

Obama as well as Hillary should go away to their million dollar estates and STFU.

Blacks will vote for El Sayed because there is no other candidate on the ballot for them. They are really voting for Chuck Schumer when they vote for El-Sayed. Some liberal Jewish voters might vote third party, though – there is a Libertarian tranny and a Green Party candidate on the ballot.
