IDF Eliminates Gaza Terrorist Who Abducted Noa Argamani on October 7
IDF: The slain terrorist “Sakr infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre and drove the motorcycle used to abduct Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or from the Nova music festival into the Gaza Strip.”
Israeli security forces have eliminated the terrorist who kidnapped 25-year-old Noa Argamani and her boyfriend, Avinatan Or, on October 7, 2023. Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr, who was filmed abducting Noa on the back of a motorcycle, was killed in a joint Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet airstrike in central Gaza.

In June 2024, Noa and three other hostages were rescued from their Hamas captors in a daring operation in Gaza.
Noa’s distraught face, her arms reaching desperately for her captive boyfriend, became the defining image of the young Israeli women abducted from the Nova Festival. Noa, who witnessed the Hamas brutality at the music festival, could be seen screaming “Don’t kill me!” According to official Israeli records, “364 partygoers [were] slaughtered at the Nova music festival,” and women “were executed after being gang-raped and tortured.”
In June 2024, Noa and three other hostages were rescued from their Hamas captors in a daring operation in Gaza. The special forces Yamam unit of Israel’s Border Police took part in the mission to rescue Noa.
Noa’s boyfriend, Or, endured 738 days of captivity and was released in exchange for terrorists in October 2025.
Notably, her abductor, Sakr, was eliminated in an operation involving the Israel Police’s elite Unit 33, also known as the Gideonites. The IDF and Shin Bet, “together with Gideonim Unit 33 of Lahav 433, struck in the Nuseirat area and eliminated the terrorist Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr, a terrorist operative affiliated with global jihadist organizations operating” in Gaza, the Israeli military said.
Since October 7, 2023, Sakr continued his terrorist activities, working with both Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror groups. “Sakr infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 Massacre and drove the motorcycle used to abduct Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or from the Nova music festival into the Gaza Strip,” the IDF said in a statement. “Recently, Sakr advanced attacks targeting IDF troops and Israeli civilians, in cooperation with terrorist operatives from the military wings of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations, in systematic violation of the ceasefire agreement. He was eliminated in an aerial strike in order to remove the threat he posed.”
On Sunday, the IDF also announced the killing of Hamas commander Muhammad Hamad Muhammad Gabain. He was responsible for holding several hostages in Gaza captivity. He too was eliminated in an airstrike, the military confirmed.
“Throughout the war, he was involved in holding the hostages Ziv Berman, Gali Berman, Eitan Mor, Liri Albag, Agam Berger, Matan Angrest, Omri Miran, Keith Siegel and Alon Ohel in Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip,” the IDF statement said.
These strikes, taking out terrorists behind the October 7 atrocities, highlight Israel’s consolidated efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.
According to figures released by the IDF in August 2026, over 2,700 October 7 perpetrators had been killed, and 300 others were in custody awaiting prosecution. IDF’s chief of staff, Lt. General Eyal Zamir, assured that “everyone who took part in the massacre will live on the run until they are eliminated. This is a long-term mission to which the Southern Command and the entire IDF are committed.”

Glad to see Israel is still providing essential services to Gaza – every day is trash day and the IDF tirelessly takes it out.

Well, add that they killed this guy clean to the civilian casualty ratio, and fact that Gaza isn’t a radioactive, glassed crater demonsstrating Israeli restraint.
“Proportional” would be something like snatching him up, holding him underground for three years abused every day in the dark. Then killing him. Maybe by surprise. Maybe just ask him every week: you wanna die, or this can continue. Who would ever know?
Maybe there’s history, maybe grievance, maybe the struggle is justified. Observable, repeated fact on the ground: one team does the worst they can manage every time they can; the other team does way less than they could.
They blew up the pagers vs. using them to vector in bombs — how many next to operatives were themselves operatives, too n lived?
