Top Iranian Official Threatens Trump, Mocks Him Over Catering-Truck Escape

Five weeks after President Donald Trump escaped an Iranian assassination plot, the regime has issued a new threat. Ebrahim Azizi, the head of Iran’s national security commission, warned the president to watch out for “his own security” while mocking him for switching planes via a catering truck in Ankara, Turkey.
“The U.S. President ought to worry about his own security rather than his endless bluffing regarding the Strait of Hormuz; before he ends up hiding in a food truck,” he taunted on X.
Azizi is not the first regime official in a similar capacity to threaten President Trump. In March, Ali Larijani, a senior member of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, also threatened to “eliminate” the president. Nearly a week later, Larijani was himself killed in an apparent Israeli airstrike.
Echoing Azizi’s sentiment, the regime-controlled media continues to ridicule the president. Reuters reported earlier this week:

The latest Iranian death threat comes as the 60-day negotiation window, offered by President Trump as part of the 14-point ‘framework agreement,’ is set to expire on Monday. The framework sought to create a final deal dismantling Iran’s nuclear weapons program and ensuring the freedom of navigation in the Hormuz Strait. Instead of pursuing negotiations, Iran (backed by its proxy Houthi terror group) has spent the past two months launching drones and missiles at Arab neighbors and oil tankers in the waterway.

President Trump has faced Iranian death threats since his first term in office. Since the start of Operation Epic Fury in late February, Tehran has repeatedly threatened and plotted to kill President Trump, members of his family, and White House officials.

At a minimum, I’d said some planes over Tehran and blow up the billboards and murals just to show we could. Or perhaps some one way drones could be used armed with paint. I’d also send some drones after this guy but I’d arm them with pie just to humiliate him.
