Here We Go Again – No Rashida, Michael Brown Was Not “Murdered”
Near the anniversary of Michael Brown’s death, Rep. Rashida Tlaib repeats the fabrication.
It’s mid-August. That can only mean one thing – Democrat politicians spreading fabrications about the police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, on August 9, 2014.
The most persistent fabrication is the claim that Brown was a “gentle giant” gunned down while his hands were raised up and saying don’t shoot. “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” became the slogan of the organized Black Lives Matter movement, which was launched after the Brown shooting.
But it’s all a lie, as I have written about over, and over, and over, and over again, literally dozens of times.
Michael Brown was shot when he sucker punched a policeman sitting in a patrol car, reached into the vehicle to try to grab his service pistol leading to the first shot, then made a second charge at the officer leading to the deadly shot. An investigation by the Obama/Holder DOJ concluded there was no credible evidence supporting the “hands up, don’t shoot” claim and that the shooting was legally justified.
Here are just some of my posts on the topic over the years:
- Two years ago Michael Brown died, and a movement based on lies was born (2016)
- Five years ago Michael Brown died, and a movement based on lies was born (2019)
- Reminder: “Hands up, don’t shoot” is a fabricated narrative from the Michael Brown case (2020)
- St. Louis Prosecutor Re-opened Michael Brown Case, Will Not Bring Charges (2020)
- Reminder (Again): “Hands up, don’t shoot” is a fabricated narrative from the Michael Brown case (2024)
- Ten years ago Michael Brown died, and Black Lives Matter based on the “hands up, don’t shoot” lie was born (2024)
Writing about the fabrication in June 2020 lit a fuse under many folks at Cornell Law School who denounced me, boycotted me, and unsuccessfully tried to get me fired. I have been totally vindicated both on the Brown case and my criticisms of BLM:
And I’ve been totally vindicated: “In 2020, students boycotted a Cornell University Law Professor, William Jacobson, for calling Black Lives Matters’ founders “anti-American, anti-capitalist activists.” His dean denounced him.”https://t.co/IISj0YdnXX

This year was quieter than most years but leave it to Rashida Tlaib to tweet that Michael Brown was “murdered”:
Mike Brown should still be with us today.
But 12 years ago this week, he was murdered by a police officer in Ferguson.
Our fight for justice and an end to white supremacy, police violence, and mass incarceration continues.
Black lives matter.

There were plenty of people to respond. It gave me a chance to Retweet some of my earlier tweets from years past, and to educate some people who didn’t know the full history of the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown racism hoaxes:
I had no idea about the Zimmerman edits.

The Trayvon Martin case gave rise to the BLM hashtag, which became the BLM organization after Michael Brown. The most influential movement of this century was birthed from fabricated racism narratives. https://t.co/qZDnMbz5Oc

.@CoriBush still lying about Michael Brown. He wasn’t killed by police violence. He was killed when he sucker punched a policeman and tried to steal his weapon. Remember the “hands up don’t shoot” fabrication took Black Lives Matter national, and also was used to stoke… https://t.co/Ej6fKdEQ7X pic.twitter.com/qLUR2tGECK

Tlaib is a disgusting dishonest despicable depraved degenerate subhuman. She gives angry black thuggish lesbians a run for their money and that’s saying something. Not enough bad things can even happen to her and her equally disgusting voters.
Don’t sugar coat it. Tell us how you really feel.
How do I real feel. I can’t say that. It would get me banned from here and possibly investigated by the local constabulary but thanks for asking.
Talk is simply using black peoples as she always has to fuse her Palestinian narrative with their cause. She always been manipulating this story and the whole BLM movement and frankly her nonsense has worked. People are now convinced that white policeman are all trained by the IDF to shoot black people. As insane as that narrative sounds. She and her fellow terrorist supporters ( see Linda Sasour for one ) have risen to prominence riding the BLM wave and making it all about their hatred of Jews; so of course she will invoke it at every chance.
Reminds me of a line from the 80s movie The Survivors: Wes says to shoot the radios because without music they lose half their will to fight.
But that was when people could distinguish a joke from reality.
Plenty of whites think the IDF trains our law enfarcement. Same crowd going on about Israel controlling the government.
If you can come up with a catchy slogan, facts don’t matter to a critical mass of idiots. GenZ is setting themselves up to be worse at this than any other prior gen with their low info trendy quips.
Ugly Tlaib is just doing her taqiyya thing.
Talib looks like Ernest Borgnine in a dress. Vile human being.
That is an insult to Ernest Borgnine
The burqa may have some uses after all.
Who is the male which should be controlling talib ? Can he be deported (even if she doesn’t follow him) ? … her husband Fayez wasn’t able to suffer more than seven-years, then they were divorced. I wonder who filed first, was it in a sharia or US court, and what were the allegations ?
Rashita Tlaibia spouting lies. She is a product of democratic party of mental illness.
The Michael Brown shooting is an interesting case of the contradictory and unreliability of eye witness testimony. The most reliable evidence is in the forensic analysis. The bullet trace in the body was going front to back and high to low. This is consistent with Michael Brown charging (leaning forward in a dead run and hands not held high). There are some independent witnesses that did confirm that Michael Brown was charging the officer. There were other witnesses that “saw” other things including at least one that later on confessed to having made it all up because she wanted to be part of something big.
The Michael Brown killing happened about 11 months after George Zimmerman was acquitted in the killing of Trayvon Martin – both of which cases were key motivators for the BLM organization and movement. In short the BLM organization and movement are based on lies (intentional untruths).
Now do George Floyd, and pardon Derek Chauvin!
Pardoning him on his federal conviction would just send him to state prison, which is worse. He pleaded guilty to the federal charges for a reason!
And he still got shived.
Weird they would charge him for putting his knee on the middle of Floyds back considering the dept trained him to do that. I f anything the state should have gone after their training cadre considering he did exactly as trained.
Chauvin is serving his federal and state sentences concurrently; currently in federal prison in TX. Even if he received a federal commutation or pardon; it is unlikely he would receive any “grace” (or “apology”) from the communists in Minnesota.

Is there a way Chauvin could get his state case appealed to the Supreme Court?
no state court is state .. now the state SC could over turn it … or the Gov. of that state could pardon him.
Bet most Leftists still believe that lie that went around the world.
“if you tell a lie often enough
it becomes the truth ” …
However, historians note that the original idea comes from Adolf Hitler’s 1925 book Mein Kampf, where he described the “big lie” (große Lüge) as a colossal falsehood that the masses would more readily believe because they could not imagine someone having the audacity to fabricate it

Mustache Talib is all about the grift. Just as blm and other race hustling groups are about the grift. And that’s really the point of her tweet. Money flows to blm, SPLC and others and flows back to politicians and their pacs. The money buys ads for politicians. Wash rinse repeat. I believe that this type of behavior by demonrat/socialist/communist politicians is because they don’t have an actionable current case to latch onto and create another “Summer of Floyd”. Besides all of the demonrat sanctuary cities are releasing so many criminals back into the population at large and they inconveniently go and murder someone or kill someone via drunk driving. They just can’t get any traction. And it’s because the majority of people of all colors are sick of it.
Question for Rashy Twat…are black men the only ones murdered while a white immigrant gets unalived on a metro train along with a young Texas athlete?
Do you think they deserved their fate?
They lie and the kool-aid crowd never questions the water they are given.
Can you say Jim Jones?
U.S. Rep. Tlaib (D-MI) has brought to her House politics the Muslim Koranic directive of “taqqiya,” i.e., lying in the service of Islam to inflict harm and violence on her enemies, both on the right side of the aisle in Congress and the United States at large. This sits in our Congress, funded by our taxes.
The glory days of LI – absolutely phenomenal coverage of the Martin case, the Brown case and the madness at Oberlin. The great work continues in the Equal Protection Project efforts.
Sadly this is offset by the “defend Trump at any cost” mindset that has taken over despite the mountains of evidence that Trump and his talent free children are using the second term to enrich themselves like post USSR Russian Oligarchs or middles eastern royalty. Then there is Trump breaking his solemn vow to keep us out of forever wars by engaging us in the mother of all fruitless forever wars with Iran.
Now do Biden and family.
The Biden family corruption is well documented; does that mean we should allow the Trumps to do the same? Trump and his kids make the Biden’s look like pikers with the abuses they concoct almost every week. Even worse, many of Trump’s scams (like crypto) made him millions while his devotees lost thousands, in most cases, they couldn’t afford to lose.
“defend Trump at any cost”
You’re an idiot. And a fool.
Thank you for that intelligent, well structured retort. I expect nothing less.
Well, you’re an idiot and a fool, so I’m glad your expectations were met.
Hi Tucker!
That you, Moonmeth?
The Trump family was making millions without Trump as POTUS. So it’s not unusual (and shouldn’t be suspicious) that they continue to make millions while Trump is POTUS.
This is different from the Biden family (and the Clintons). When they went out of power, their ability to make big bucks went into serious decline. Do you think this will happen to Trump and his family when he leaves office? I’m thinking it won’t.
Race hustlers and grievance grifters gonna lie, cheat, steal to keep the $ and power flowing to them from the gullible and the useful idiots. The problem for the these tribalists is that the ‘new hotness’ ascending in the diversity olympics ain’t them, ‘blacks’ have been/are being superseded by woke/radical tranny and anti Western Civilization/anti capitalist 3rd world ‘immigrants’.
If Michael Brown were white and Officer Wilson were black, Wilson would be a folk hero. He would have a statue, songs would be written about him and the anniversary would be celebrated with street dancing. Blacks in congress would point their fingers with thumbs up, saying, “Bang, bang. You’re dead!”
Nope. Among the people who celebrated BLM and believe Brown was “murdered” there are no black cops. As soon as they have a badge, they’re white.
Watch enough bodycams and you get to hear Ghetto Americans and leftists both calling black officers all manner of names, which amount to “race traitor”.
Matt Christiansen reported on his page a year ago that the guy who made up the lie was shot in the back by another banger. Shoulda had his hands up. Two down.
he was murdered by a police officer in Ferguson
Sounds like there needs to be a lawsuit for slander here. Especially since it’s a conscious lie and a deliberate effort to defame him.
Not really. “Murder” is not a factual statement, it’s a characterization, and thus inherently an opinion.
When you call someone a murderer without giving any factual background to that opinion, then you are implying that you know facts that led you to form that opinion, so you can be sued, not for the opinion but for those implied facts.
But when you make the factual basis for your opinion known, or when — as in this case — the facts are all known, then you’re just expressing an opinion that those facts add up to murder. A wrong opinion, but not a false one, because opinions can’t be true or false.
So unless she made a more specific allegation that’s contradicted by the known facts, such as “He shot him in the back as he was fleeing”, or “he shot him after he surrendered”, or unless she claimed there were further facts known to her that are not in the public record, there’s no defamation.
Brown even look like a thug in his high school photo.
We all pay homage continually to much more consequential lies because they either suit or ideological preference or make our pusillanimity easier to bear.
Take the Obama biography.
I wrestled with a notoriously woke and left leaning LLM for ours and finally emerged with the slightest victory. By arguing endless contentious accusations, one by one, and forcing this AI machine to apply Bayesian logic, I trapped it into concluding that it is more likely than not that Obama is homosexual and that his birth certificate was forged.
Congratulations Mr. Brown for his 12th anniversary being crime-free and sober.
As a retired DEA agent, I can assure you that when you try to take a cop’s gun away, you are asking to get shot. The cop who shot Brown had every reason to fear for his life, and under our laws, the shooting was totally justified.
Rashida Tlaib is a toxic individual, and the fact that she is reelected over and over again speaks volumes about her constituents in Michigan.
To the question “If someone tries to take my sidearm, can I use lethal force to prevent him from doing so?”, Massad Ayoob says, “A person going for your gun is a person going for a gun,” and concludes, yes, you can shoot that SOB.
That was never likely to happen. Had he not attacked Darren Wilson that day he would undoubtedly have gone on to commit more crimes and have more encounters with the police, until he ended up in prison or in the ground. It’s unlikely that he would still be “with us”.
