Coulter’s Law.

You know, for as much as blue states seem to hate 2A, they love the demographics that commit the most gun crime. Odd.

Always seems the states and cities with the most gun laws have the most gun violence. I really don’t understand. Don’t the perps know they are violating the gun laws and don’t they care? They vote for the politicians that pass those gun laws after all.

    Cue the usual retard retort:
“It’s a damn good thing they have those laws!
Can you imagine how much MORE violent it would be if they didn’t?”

Being really old, I can remember being able to order guns out of the Sears catalog.
Strangely, I cannot recall any school shootings.

There were school shootings and massacres. The Bath school massacre in 1927 killed 44 and injured 58. A school shooting in 1934 killed one and injured 3. In 1963 a school shooter in Patterson, NJ injured 6. But they weren’t common.

The Bath incident was done with explosives, not firearms.

So what? Dead is dead. A school stabbing spree is just as bad as a shooting.

Also, school shootings/stabbings/etc. are still not common. More common than they used to be, but still not common at all. no more than 2-3 a year.

“So what? Dead is dead. A school stabbing spree is just as bad as a shooting.”

Makes no difference to victims or their families. In the context of a gun control debate, the distinction matters.

So you went back nearly 100 years for two and nearly three 70 years for another and then when it was pointed out about the Bath massacre being a BOMB it was a “So WHAT”! The SUBJECT today is GUNS. Please explain why most High School Parking lots were full of student vehicles with gun racks holding a shotgun and/or a rifle and yet the violence was just not there! I give credit for the increased violence and social destructions to the ARCHITECTS – DEMOcrats! They first destroyed black families and then schools and then social norms and then Our Justice System. Now you have generations upon generations of people who just don’t care NOR respect ANYTHING – no one’s property OR life! So, as I say – OFTEN – “when misery abounds – THANK A DEMOcrat”!

The fact is that massacres did happen, with or without guns. Allowing guns didn’t make them more likely, and banning them didn’t make them less likely. Allowing guns, however, did occasionally allow people to stop some of them before they got any worse.

The guns don’t shoot themselves. They need blacks

mass shootings were almost the exclusive domain white neck-bearded autists. And there was only one mass school shooting pre-Columbine despite many decades of rapid fire capable guns.

“They vote for the politicians that pass those gun laws after all.”
And it’s coming back to bite them.

Milhouse in reply to ztakddot. | July 28, 2026 at 3:15 am

Always seems the states and cities with the most gun laws have the most gun violence.

That’s not true. Gun laws are mostly controlled by states, not cities; in many states the law specifically prohibits cities from passing their own gun laws. And the states with the highest crime rates tend to elect Republicans, probably in part because people are worried about all that crime, and trust Republicans to do better than Democrats at suppressing it. And it’s in part because of that high crime rate that people feel the need to arm themselves in self-defense, and therefore vote for laws that respect the RKBA.

Now within those Republican states, the high crime areas tend to be in Democrat-run cities, but the gun laws are set at the state level so people in those cities are able to defend themselves despite the city government’s hostility.

      So you are saying
The restrictive gun laws do not stop violent crimes because the criminals don’t care what the law is; and the violent criminals act in lenient/corrupt areas because the social/political climate encourages it.

      Or put another way:
Gun control does not work; social permissiveness makes the violence worse.

The description of the suspect in custody as a ‘young person’ seems like code and especially without any description of the second suspect being sought. If this was an issue between two rival gangs/groups then at least offer up the name of the gang/group for the second suspect. If it.was between two people known to each other then lean on the guy in custody and release what he’s coughing up. Sure would be nice if Seattle had operational cameras in public spaces to capture images of criminal activity in the open.

Does it also leave all perpetrators black?

Somebody got “dissed!”

More proof that all the gun laws and all the assault weapons banning accomplish absolutely nothing…except allow democrat politicians to virtue signal about their brave positions on gun control…until the next mass shooting occurs…and then they’ll demand more gun laws…because it’s obvious that the old ones didn’t work.

A coworker told me one of the victims is a framing contractor who works with her husband.

Ouch… 99% chance the dude was one of us.

Interesting that all of those gun laws as well as all the laws they already had against assault and murder didn’t stop that from happening. It’s almost like criminals don’t obey the law

Still no details on the shooters?

Seattle: another urban shithole to avoid, and the list grows daily.

“two people were shooting at each other”

You don’t say. This is excellent police work.
