Minnesota Schools to Receive Transgender Dolls Featuring Removable Genitalia

Minnesota Schools to Receive Transgender Dolls Featuring Removable Genitalia

A therapist involved with the project told the Post that the goal is to help children “learn about the different options that exist for who they can be.”

Move over Mr. Potato Head!

Educators and gender care professionals in Minnesota are very fired up about “MyGender Dolls.” Developed over six years by researchers at the University of Minnesota Medical School, the paper dolls feature removable genitalia (both internal and external), while allowing children to mix and match clothing, accessories, and hairstyles to create a doll that reflects their identity.

While it sounds like a parody conjured up by The Babylon Bee, it is, unfortunately, real.

According to The New York Post, the dolls are set to arrive in public school classrooms across the state this fall and will be made available to children ages 4 to 10. And yes, Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for this creative endeavor.

A therapist involved with the project told the Post that the goal is to help children “learn about the different options that exist for who they can be.”

The MyGender Doll website describes the product as “a new play-based therapeutic approach for trans and gender diverse children — and the clinicians who support them.” The site also proclaims, “We make gender fun! Our award-winning dolls and services are community-informed, research-driven, culturally-attuned, and grounded in gender-affirming clinical practice.”

From the Post:

Prototypes of the dolls were shown in a 2024 conference where one named “Sam” can be seen in what appears to be some phase of a gender transition, with a detachable penis off to the side, and a dress and girls’ underwear within reach.

They come with interchangeable accessories and removable and swappable genitalia to help children “realize all the different options that exist for who they can be — regardless of their body parts,” University of Minnesota postdoctoral fellow Ben Parchem, Ph.D., said in a now-deleted article in the University of Minnesota Foundation’s magazine.

The dolls began as a research program in the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, spearheaded by two members of the school’s faculty, Dianne Berg, PhD, and G. Nic Rider, PhD, both educators in the school’s Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.

“It’s really important to address the belief, ‘I’m not a ‘real’ boy because I don’t have these private parts,’ versus, ‘I am a real boy, whatever my anatomy looks like,’” Berg told the Foundation’s magazine in the now-deleted article.

“It’s about helping children develop tools to cope with messages in society that could lead to shame,” she added.

The X post below shows several images of the dolls. It’s truly amazing that six years of research went into their development. Mr. Potato Head probably took someone a day or two to create.

Below, a Fox News panel discusses the inappropriateness of the dolls:

The introduction of MyGender Dolls into Minnesota public schools is likely to fuel an already contentious debate over how or even if public schools should address gender identity with young children.

Even if parents are given the choice to opt-out of exposing their children to these dolls, it would take about a nanosecond for students to become aware of them through classmates.

While supporters argue the dolls can help children explore identity and foster inclusion, many others will ask why public schools are teaching young children about these dangerous options at all? Why are they presenting this as a possibility to children?

If children were not exposed to the concept of transgender identity, how many would actually spend time wondering if they were born in the wrong body? Very few, if any.

The MyGender site claims the dolls will “promote resilience, confidence, and joy through structured, engaging play.” I would argue that, for the majority of students, the dolls will instead promote needless confusion, and particularly among the younger children, dangerous misconceptions about something they can’t possibly grasp.

As the program rolls out this fall, these questions are likely to remain at the center of the public discussion.

They are planning a Jeffrey Dahmer edible edition.

Indoctrination, not education.

    As I have previously commented
Boys is girl sports is evil.
But its trivial compared to the vastly greater evil that dominates the wacko left.

This is one example of the vastly greater evil spewing from the left on the transgender front. Seriously promoting evil

All early education is necessarily indoctrination. The problem is “indoctrination into what?”

We should be grateful to the Minnesota government school for answering that question so that parents can make proper decisions about whom they will trust to educate their children.

Wonder if the darker-skinned communities like what looks like their “race” being targeted? It is my understanding that darker-skinned communities are not exactly thrilled with the LBGTQ+ environment.

I’m beginning to wonder how much correlation exists between strident tranny advocates, the Cray Cray cat ladies, the spay/neuter every animal advocates, vegans/fake meat advocates and AWFLs. At first guess I’d suggest there’s way more overlap on a Venn diagram than we realize.

You know what I wonder how the red-green alliance survives without the green killing the red. Muslims in general and somalis in particular should be very conservation so how they tolerate this crap or are their schools not affected?

      Why Muslims tolerate this alliance – a leader told me this about 15+ years ago. After asking what you observe, the conservative of the Muslims versus the crazy world of today’s democrats, etc.,. I paraphrase”….we support the democrats because it is easier to take over that party versus the republicans.” Darn close to a direct quote;

To think Be all You Can Be used to be an Army recruiting slogan. Now it’s a trannie grooming slogan!

At the risk of sounding like a broken record:

Get your kids out of government indoctrination centers (“schools”) NOW.

It’s important to realize that the people pushing this stuff do not reproduce, hence their fascination with grooming children with all kinds of sexual perversion.

Always the “teachers”

Get the hell out of public education

I think it is time the ‘right’ side of this issue really starts educating people on the true, ‘average’ results from these surgical mutilations. The ‘vaginas’ and ‘penises’ created by these surgeries are visually disgusting, looking like something on Frankenstein’s monsters. The poor gender-confused are being convinced they can ‘become a man/woman’ yet their genitals will evoke strong visceral reactions of disgust, not sexual desire. They’ll be very likely to suffer from chronic infections as their bodies naturally reject the fantasy, and ‘trans women’ will have to walk around with a ‘dilator’ in their hooch to keep it from healing itself shut. It’s nothing short of surgical mutilation, and the people doing it should be imprisoned.

The “doctors” (MDs and psychologists) who perpetrate these fantasies are spiritual heirs of Josef Mengele and should be in prison.

Their pathetic victims have mental problems and should be treated accordingly, not pandered to by scalpel-wielding quacks who see them as cash cows.

The black dolls look like they were patterned after Barack and Michelle.

We are heading towards the Balkanization of this country.

” What makes you real is not what your body parts are, but how you think and feel”

Who comes up with this garbage? Your body parts are your reality. Your feelings about them are irrelevant to anyone but you.

If your thinking and feeling does not line up with reality, you need to change your thinking and feeling.

That type of thinking used to be classified as abnormal psychology before the field was taken over by abnormal psychologists.

The progressive democrat/government education establishment in many parts of America needs to be utterly destroyed and rebuilt via vouchers and the private sector,

Side bar issue: wonder how the moors will feel about this one?

For only $9.98 more, they could have bought the whole set of three.

“It’s truly amazing that six years of research went into their development. Mr. Potato Head probably took someone a day or two to create.”

Mr. Potato Head wasn’t carefully engineered to fend off four years of lobbyist attacks.

FUN FACT!: Dr. Josef Mengele pioneered the prototypes for these dolls using real humans back in 1940’s Germany when some really empathetic characters ran the place.
