Mark Halperin Slams Media Coverage of Fauci, Says it’s a Repeat of the Biden Cover-Up
“I could spend this entire hour talking to you about the media coverage of this thing”
Journalist Mark Halperin took a sledgehammer to the media this week, slamming their coverage of Dr. Fauci and his testimony before Congress, and accusing them of following the same playbook they used to protect Joe Biden as people began to question his mental acuity.
Halperin reserved most of his ire for CNN’s Brian Stelter, who decided to focus on the reaction of ‘MAGA media’ instead of the media at large.

Journalist Mark Halperin, host of “2Way,” likened the mainstream media coverage of Anthony Fauci’s diaries to the press’ coverage of former President Joe Biden’s mental acuity on Wednesday, and said they were present at the creation of the cover-up.
“I could spend this entire hour talking to you about the media coverage of this thing,” Halperin said during a conversation with Larry O’Connor and Kevin Walling during “The Morning Meeting” podcast. If you read the stories in the so-called mainstream press about the Fauci Diaries, you will see an exact parallel to the Biden acuity situation. They were present at the creation of the cover-up. They were present, engaged in non-stop bias, pro-Fauci, anti-Trump, and they’re — they’re just sustaining it.”
“There’s no consciousness raising,” he continued. “There seems to be no awareness. And this goes across a range of things. It goes across the question of whether Dr. Fauci lied, whether Dr. Fauci helped fund the gain-of-function research, and it also goes to Dr. Fauci’s insane obsession with fame and celebrity. There’s no other way to describe it.”
“There’s so much rich stuff here and — and Fauci’s obsession with celebrity,” Halperin said, again calling out Fauci’s seeming obsession with celebrities. “He’s obsessed. He talks about Julia Roberts. He talks about Cher. He talks about covers. He talks openly in his diaries about how people blocked him from TV. And he acts like being blocked from a TV appearance is like someone trying to strangle him underwater. OK, this guy has a problem. And, by the way, if you’ve covered him in the last 50 years when he’s been in Washington, this comes as no surprise.”
Halperin specifically called out CNN’s Brian Stelter and his note about the news in his “Reliable Sources” newsletter.
Conservative talk host Larry O’Connor, appearing as a guest on this segment, joins Halperin in criticizing the media.

Halperin is right about all of this. The media’s predictably partisan take on everything is so tiresome.

The regular media can’t quit Fauci, after all they made billions of off COVID and him. The promoted his lies with their death trackers and panic. They long for those days when they had every American rapt and glued to their blatherings.
The “regular media” can’t quit Fauci because if they threw him under the bus over his acts, actions and non-actions then they’d have to also admit they were wrong about everything they broadcast to the American people during the Covid era. And that’s an admission they just can’t or won’t make. So despite what the “regular media” might really think about Fauci and the Dairy and the revelations that have been made public they have to back him up, attempt to minimize the damage. Not for Fauci’s benefit but for their own benefit.

Cable TV isn’t regulated by the FCC as it’s not an over the airwaves thing per se. So even if the FCC revoked their licenses it wouldn’t stop them from airing their propaganda on cable TV and the internet.

You can’t fix stupid or egotistic leftist morons, who think the world needs them for enlightenment.
Charge him. Challenge the Autopen and who did it. Then try to show what this guy was up to. Same with Biden. Play that and allow people to confront the reality of how they were lied to by Democrats and the likes of Tapper.
How do you challenge it? By claiming that Biden didn’t authorize it? The onus would be on you, as the prosecution, to prove that, and how could you? All they have to do is trot Biden out to say yes, I told them to issue Fauci a pardon; even if he would be lying (which you don’t know for a fact) how could you ever prove it?
Even if they can’t wake him up to say that, the onus is still on the prosecution to prove its case against the defendant beyond reasonable doubt, which includes the claim that the alleged pardon is a forgery.
Make the process the punishment.
That’s still not good enough. He needs to be convicted and put behind bars.
all you can hit is his reputation. Someone could take his diaries, catalog all the lies and publish it. He can’t sue for liable. For one he wrote it and for two the supreme court has ruled in the past that accepting a pardon is a de facto admission of guilt. You can’t be prosecuted but you also cannot sue someone who calls you a criminal in public.
One can only know if it can’t be proven if one attempts to prove it. Failing to conduct an attempt and refusing to make it is surrender.
As to the lamestream media not caring about 50% of the population. They actually do care. They care that they should be dead and only the morons that believe them should be alive.
The media is the enemy, the Fifth Column.
Brian Stelter is unaffectionately known as Mr Potato Head. That really is an insult to the real Mr Potato Head.
