Mamdani Encourages People to Protest Netanyahu Since He Cannot be Arrested

“This is a city where, if anyone feels a level of frustration or opposition, protest is something that we will always respect.”

Anti-Israel socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said it out loud.

Since he cannot arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the mayor encouraged people to protest.

REPORTER: What do you think that these people who are frustrated with Netanyahu should do when he arrives in New York City for the United Nations meeting?

MAMDANI: I think one of the bedrocks of our city is protest. It is something that has been a part of what makes our city so special-that New Yorkers can express themselves whether they are in support or in opposition, no matter or whatever time. And I’ve always said that when we respect our Constitution, we also respect our First Amendment. And here in New York City, there will always be a place where you can exercise that.

And when it comes to the first question, you know, I have made clear both that I believe that this is an arrest warrant that should be executed, and also that I would follow the laws that we had, and I would be respectful of those laws. And that is why I asked my administration to review all applicable laws.

This is a city where, if anyone feels a level of frustration or opposition, protest is something that we will always respect.

I guess Mamdani wanted to make sure that his fellow anti-Israel people understand his message in his Tuesday night video.

In that video, Mamdani admitted that city authorities cannot arrest Netanyahu when he visits for the UN General Assembly.

Mamdani, of course, chose not to mention October 7. He never mentioned why Israel went to war against Hamas in Gaza. He never mentioned the thousands murdered, the hundreds kidnapped, or the hundreds of women raped.

The video drips with antisemitism, but what Mamdani pushes is just as terrifying (emphasis mine):

My administration has reviewed every avenue available under applicable law to determine whether New York City could execute the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant if Benjamin Netanyahu came here. It is clear that we do not have the independent legal authority to enforce this warrant. The federal government, however, does, and I call on them to join the ICC and execute this warrant.

And I want to be equally clear: Benjamin Netanyahu is not welcome in New York City, nor is any other war criminal at large. While we cannot end the genocide on our own, we can decide whether our silence will become another weapon, and we can examine every tool we have to defend the humanity and dignity of all people. That is my commitment to you.

“Every tool.”

Mamdani’s administration cannot do anything. We know President Donald Trump won’t arrest Netanyahu.

It sure sounds like the NYC mayor wants people to swarm the streets when Netanyahu arrives in the city.

Well, an instigator of anti-Israel street protests picked up the signal. Nerdeen Kiswani led the anti-Israel protest at the Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital in 2024.

Kiswani wrote on X:

Mamdani just spent several minutes detailing Netanyahu’s alleged war crimes before saying he has no authority to arrest him and leaves the matter to the federal government.

Fine. Then use every power the mayor does have.

Don’t roll out the red carpet for a wanted war criminal. Don’t use the NYPD to insulate him from public outrage. Don’t suppress the New Yorkers who take to the streets demanding accountability.

If Netanyahu is truly not welcome in New York City, that principle should be reflected in how the city treats his visit, not just in rhetoric.

This whole “arrest Netanyahu” charade was foreseeable to anyone with even a basic understanding of how politics works.

If Mamdani wants to show Netanyahu is truly unwelcome, he should start by looking at what’s actually within his control.

For example, why is the heir to the Tisch family serving as NYPD commissioner when Netanyahu has long stayed at the Tisch family’s Loews Regency New York Hotel during visits to New York?

If you’re serious about making a wanted war criminal unwelcome, you don’t surround him with the same network of political and institutional comfort he’s always relied on.

Democrat. He ran on their ticket. They let him and many many endorsed him. That makes him a democrat.

Mamdummy has been preaching the alleged virtues of socialism, ad nauseam, when he’s not praising Submission, so he could fairly be called a “Democratic Socialist,” given that he clearly aligns with those pukes’ socioeconomic views.

At any rate, whatever moniker he chooses to describe himself, and whatever party faction he identifies as, he’s a vile and evil piece of excrement.

Please. Burn down your own city and become mayor of the ashes that remains, Do it. Let it serve as a visible warning to everyone just who you and your supporters are and how stupid they were to let you and them into the country in the first place.

One of the reasons he is doing this is to signal to the Islamic world that America and the American political system is weak and conquerable.

25 years after 9/11 and these morons toss their sovereignty, in a manner of speaking, mind you..

The Trump administration needs to slap this guy down hard, and not just with rhetoric.

Israel is probably our closest ally.

You can’t let this Muslim scumbag openly threaten a head of state like this. Period. You simply can not.

All the while, he sits there and smiles..

I don’t want to hear what is legal and what is not. You use your power to make his life miserable so he resigns in disgrace.

You can not let this stand for what it is.

Mamdani admits he can’t arrest Natanyahu.

He can’t do any of the other things he promised either.

True but he always knew that. The socialism talk is just the delivery drug for the Jew hate. If any street violence occurs when Bibi visits, Mamdani is prepared to capitalize.

This is the metaphorical “Who will rid me of this troublesome priest?” Mamdani admits any attempt to arrest a foreign head of state will only fail bigtime and get him into trouble, so he’s encouraging the violent Leftists to attack Netanyahu and in return, he will keep the police from arresting them. All he needs it to give them a bunch of brown shirts.

I certainly hope Netanyahu calls out this disgusting bigot in his UN speech, and then promptly gets out of that hateful city, and has a wonderful time everywhere else in the USA. Frankly, Netanyahu can run intellectual circles around this moron, and I’d love to see him challenge him to a debate. But honestly given he’s just.a stupid mayor and not the king he fancies himself to be, it would really be beneath Netanyahu. Seriously, the mayor of my city is a complete moron but she could eviscerate this fool.

I can’t hear all these lies from him and not get worked up. Somebody, somewhere, please put him in his proper place. It is just unbelievable that people actually believe him!!!
Thanks for a little rant as I am not on any social media to vent there.

No, it doesn’t. The “warrant” is exactly the same as one issued by a “sovereign citizen court”, so the Feds can’t enforce it either.

And even if it were a real warrant, Netanyahu would have immunity both in his own right and because of the UN Treaty. That’s why the Iranians are surely sending someone too, probably someone on our radar, and yet we won’t be able to arrest him.

I guess when Mamdani pursued his Africana Studies major at Bowdoin College, he was sick the day they taught Government and Legal Studies, which is an actual major there.

“I can’t arrest him, so perhaps one of you can shoot him for me.
If you, or any member of your team, are caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your operation.
Your city will self-destruct in five months. Good luck, Mr. Antifa.”

Mamdani advocating chaos on the streets should not surprise anyone who still has a brain that works. What happens when the Bibi=haters join up with the anti-Israel crowd/Antifa mob/Free Palestine thugs that also show up? Bigger chaos and likely a NYPD that has been told to stand down. Lies from Mamdani spawn violence. Better get used to it.

Bottom line is that as a society and as a nation we have allowed sizable minority of disaffected would-be revolutionaries to seize control of a major city, and they are close to achieving this goal at several other urban centers and even at the State levels. This faction promotes actions that are antithetical to our democracy and we have also allowed them to prosteytize within our educational system to the extent that they may soon be able to mobilize our next generations to destroy our culture and create enough chaos to enable their leadership to seize control of the institutions that sustain us, and thereby accomplish their mission within a fairly short time, Their allies within the press and the self anointed intelligentsia have teamed up with some of our deadliest foreign adversaries, and have already subverted a major political party. Together they are committed to seize control by any means necessary, including destruction of the integrity of elections, and subversion of the Judicial Branch. This Fifth Column no longer is bothering much to conceal their true intentions, assuming that their installation of disillusioned apathy in the general population has progressed far enough to make them unstoppable. We shall see!

The great sorting continues and my advice is don’t get stuck behind the lines b/c eventually there’s gonna be a separation whether it will be amicable is TBD, alternatively there will be an actual ‘reactionary’ effort that will make Pinochet look like Mr Rogers. I suppose bending over and allowing the commie totalitarians free rein is another option but that’s really gonna work for folks outside the deep blue bastions.

What in hell is this guy trying to do? Is he trying to stir up civil unrest just because someone he doesn’t like is coming for a UN meeting? Does he think he has a small army at his disposal? His next step will be to start killing the Jewish population of NYC. He’s already targeted the Synagogues by defacing and spreading filth around them. YES, I believe he was behind it. The people of the City of New York should take heed and get rid of this terrorist who has taken over their city. If not, they are more stupid than I thought they were.
