Long Island Residents Object to Plans for Muslim Boarding School and Mosque

Residents of a community on Long Island’s south shore are objecting to plans to transform a former Catholic seminary into an all-boys Muslim boarding school and mosque.
The structure is in a residential area, and locals are concerned about traffic, the idea of more than a hundred teenage boys in a thickly settled area, and the idea of a Muslim call to prayer being broadcast five times a day.
The New York Post reports:

Fuming Long Island residents are fighting the opening of a Muslim boarding school for boys that’s expected to house 120 teenage students — claiming it will destroy a quiet suburban neighborhood.
A group of Bay Shore homeowners claims the proposal for an overnight dorm is illegal under codes for the suburban Saxon Avenue, on a 13-acre waterfront property that housed a Catholic seminary years ago.
“The proposed use by the new property owner is far more intensive than what is appropriate for a quiet residential neighborhood,” Kevin Colgan, an Islip resident and leader of the anti-boarding school movement in the neighborhood, known as “Saxon Says No,” said in a statement.
“This is about protecting the integrity of our zoning laws — not opposing any individual or organization — zoning laws exist to preserve the character, integrity, and quality of life within our neighborhoods while ensuring that land uses are appropriate for their surroundings,” Colgan said…
The United American Muslim Association, a group partly based out of the Suleymaniye mosque in Dix Hills, scooped up the sprawling property from the Roman Catholic Montfort Missionaries for $5 million…
Locals speaking at the meeting said they felt the school’s opening would hurt the integrity of the neighborhood, and that their residential area is no place for a school of this scale.
Most complaints centered around their belief that a boarding school, regardless of any religious affiliation, shouldn’t be opened in a residential neighborhood as it would cause an increase in noise and create traffic jams, as other residents had unanswered questions regarding a daycare center for small children that would be opening with the proposed school.

Personally I’ve always liked the call to prayer, finding it relaxing/soothing. On the other hand, that could be b/c those were the only times of day when we weren’t ever under fire from snipers or indirect fire in any of my multiple combat tours to different Muslim Nations…

And yet here we have people openly calling on us to ignore and violate the constitution because it’s “not a suicide pact”.
Well, you’re wrong. If obeying the constitution would be suicide, then the US must commit suicide. Because without the constitution there is no USA. Neither Congress nor the president have any authority whatsoever if not for the constitution. So if they disobey it then they lose all legitimacy, and that would be the USA’s suicide.

I declare those people who object to the islamic prayer center and having the adhan blared out over loudspeakers five times a day from sunrise to sunset to be NIMBYS. They’re just fine with it as long as it’s not in their backyards. NIMBYs all of them.

I expect the archdiocese of Rockville Centre had to approve the sale, market the property, to pay the legal and financial advisor fees, and of course to fund the settlement in respect of the pedophile priests who are now either deceased or relocated to other dioceses (to sin more).
Those fees and settlement costs were funded by parishioners; many of whom are or descended from members of the theocracy known as the Roman Church (i.e., “roman universal followers”; the Christian cloak is wearing and always has been very thin on that pagan theocracy).
Why have not the “universal followers” demanded answers from the “theocracy” as to why they are punished for the sins of the clergy against God ?

Separately, when will the People of these United States demand that their representatives develop a definition of “religion”, as in “no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”, which does not define “government” (as in the current unlimited federal, state, local, “deep state” (theocracies all), etc.) yet recognizes that the United States of America and each of its states (and all territories, etc.) were founded on Judeo-Christian Biblical values (but never to include any particular or then existing ecclesiastical institutional structure in its three co-equal branches) each as “a Republican Form of Government”, guaranteed by Article. IV., Section. 4. [The U.S. Constitution then representing a consensus of what was meant/intended by “Republican Form of Government”; “theocracies” excluded] ?

III. courts, let’s address the structural defects which have allowed the feral courts to morph into the despotic, corrupt judges of the Old Testament and before. Such persons have not been anointed by God, but are under the People and “shall hold their Offices [ONLY] during good Behaviour”.
To paraphrase Thomas Jefferson: Just because the Supreme Court declares a statute constitutional or unconstitutional, does not bind either the executive or the legislative branch. Nor are such opinions binding as a matter of supreme constitutional law, As well the supreme Court can bind its own Article. III., inferior Courts but no other.

In what way is this school less appropriate for a residential neighborhood than the Catholic seminary that preceded it?
This objection has no prospect of success; whatever the first amendment leaves over, RLUIPA will destroy.
