Democrat ‘Chaos’ in Wisconsin Over Fears DSA Candidate Will Win Gubernatorial Primary
“It’s scary to think that this is the person who is leading the primary … There’s a lot of us that think if she’s the nominee, we lose that seat, even in what’s supposed to be a very big Dem year. And we will lose the Assembly, too.”
Socialist and DSA-backed candidates have enjoyed a wave of House primary victories in recent weeks in states like New York and Colorado amid a rise in popularity among Democratic voters for socialism and for candidates who unapologetically embrace the socialist label.
Between that and the mayoral victories of Zohran Mamdani in New York City, Seattle’s Katie Wilson, and the frontrunner status of D.C. councilwoman Janeese Lewis George in the city’s mayoral race, it’s caused a panic among Democrat establishment types who fear the far-leftward lurch is going to not only expose the party but cost them in the general election in purple districts and states where the races are competitive all the way up until election day.
Such a scenario has played out over the last week or so in Wisconsin, where Democrats rushed to pull a candidate who had dropped out of the gubernatorial race back into it after scandal-plagued Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez suspended her campaign on Friday, leaving two extremist candidates, including a DSA member, to vie for the nomination in a state President Trump won in 2016 and 2024:
After a weeklong scramble to unsuccessfully contain the financial and political damage [Rodriguez] dropped out of the race on Friday, declaring in a video that her money issues were an “ongoing distraction” and that she didn’t want it to “become a cloud over an election that Democrats need to win.”
Her downfall has thrown the Democratic primary field into upheaval less than a month from Election Day. “This race is now in chaos,” said Mitchell Stough, a now-former Rodriguez campaign staffer.
Democratic socialist state Rep. Francesca Hong is surging, alarming centrist Democrats who fear her unabashed leftism may torpedo what should be a winnable race against Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany in a key swing state. The only other frontrunner, former Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, lost a 2022 Senate campaign after facing relentless attacks for past progressive positions — a fact that’s giving Democrats pause.
Politico: One Wisconsin Democratic state lawmaker, granted anonymity to speak candidly, said this regarding Francesca Hong:
“It’s scary to think that this is the person who is leading the primary … There’s a lot of us that think if she’s the nominee, we… https://t.co/8v4P1HfPGd pic.twitter.com/vvyu90vEu3

That led to this:
According to Democratic sources on the current status of convos among Dems: Mandela Barnes, they say, is down in every market in internals and they privately acknowledge Francesca Hong will not win a general election and need to find another candidate to rally behind

Wisconsin’s Democratic Gov. Tony Evers has also done his part:
Today, I'm endorsing @DavidcCrowley to be Wisconsin’s next governor.
I'm urging Wisconsinites to join me in uniting and supporting David in the upcoming August 11 primary and the November election.

The Wisconsin Dem Gov primary is a great microcosm of the larger Dem civil war.
The DSA/ Hasan Piker candidate (Francesca Hong) is cleaning up.
Multiple establishment Dems have tried to gain momentum and failed.

The Democratic establishment in Wisconsin has reason to be worried:

The presumptive GOP gubernatorial nominee, Rep. Tom Tiffany (WI-07), has to be loving the latest Dems in Disarray moment:
In a bid to block the socialist who wants to abolish the police and prisons, Democrats have handpicked David Crowley.
This is the same David Crowley who was just as asleep at the wheel over Milwaukee County’s health care contract as Sara Rodriguez was over her campaign finances. https://t.co/WYAG6PKT4S

The Culture Marxists are overwhelming Democrats
Join the Communists or join the opposition, your party is over.
The last thing the Republicans need is to accept refugees from the far left democratic party, They are really not much different that the DSA members who the the democrats accepted into their midst for 50 years,
Since Hong is Korean she needs to go visit the NorKs and learn what socialism is and how a real police state behaves,
The Chinese don’t have to fight a war with us. We’re going to self-destruct right in front of the world due to their and Russia’s previous efforts. No need to give us a push. We are already on a destructive trajectory,
Korean Peninsula at night:

Awesome!
But, but, but it is the Best Korea! Glorious Leader told us so!
Stupid leftists believe that enforcing your borders makes a country “Fascist”. Unless you’re Cuba, of course.
Or China.
Or North Korea.
Or, for the time being, the United States.
It’s easy to point and laugh thinking that this is a win for us, but in the grand scheme of time, this is just and initial and likely unsuccessful incursion. There will be more and stronger ones to come.
The d/prog elders decided to allow the extreme leftist/wokiestas to remain in their ‘big tent’ long after they figured out how whacko their policy ideas are; tranny, CRT/DEI, pro ‘palestinian’/anti Israel incorporating the genocidal ‘river to the sea’ chants into their political rallies/language, adopting/promoting political violence into their rhetoric spawning all sorts of violent goons including assassination, assault, mob violence and intimidation tactics of antifa/blm among others, defending eco terrorism getting on the wrong side of multiple 80/20 policy issues including open borders, soft on crime sentencing and championing the rights of vagrant/transients to erect encampments with all sorts of criminal and public health problems.
The d/prog Elders attempts to walk back from the precipice is gonna be awesome as the crocodiles they adopted turn on them.
I can’t help thinking the exodus from the loony leftist states, such as California, contains a good number of politically active operatives who aim to turn their new homes (FL, TX, TN, others) first purble then blue over the next two or three election cycles. They’re among us now, so watch carefully. Keep your weapons and ammo above water and watch your six.
.
Purple. Proofreading was imperfect.
My kingdom for an edit button.
.
I believe “purble” isn’t within the color gamut of my monitor.
Jackson Roykirk, your creator is dead! You have mistaken me for him! You are in error!
Sure some few probably are ‘stealth operatives’ whether organized or indy. The bulk ain’t probably the 99% ain’t. However within that 99% are some who will commence to backsliding after some period of time being unable to acclimate and assimilate to the culture of the States/Cities/Region they moved to. Others take to it like a duck to water. I suspect most of the folks leaving CA, the rust belt or the northeast for the Sunbelt States will be folks who got fed up with the Cray Cray in their previous home and have no intention of trying to recreate the mistakes. Those that do are kinda easy to identify and keep an eye on. It’s the absentee owners that I worry more about especially re hunting/outdoors activities b/c they generally speaking either act a fool when here, kinda irresponsibly behaving as if there’s no laws much less customs/norms since the property is outside municipal limits to abide by or be held to. Had a guy about 1.5 miles down the road which around here makes him a neighbor all sorts of upset b/c the game warden cited him for hunting at night without a hunting license. He really thought since it was ‘his property’ he could do whatever he wanted. He wasn’t happy when I explained he couldn’t perform unlawful activities just by b/c he owned the land.
After decades of the Democrats and Republicans allowed illegals from Communist and Muslim nations to cross our porous borders, what can we expect?
We have allowed our enemies, with the backing of the Chamber of Commerce, to import a multigenerational slave class. All in the name of “doing work that Americans won’t do.”
That is exactly what the slave trade supported… doing work that the slave owners didn’t want to do.
On a side note, I can’t understand what the democrats are so afraid of. They are the ones who support and own the Democrat Socialist Party. It just took a while for them to embrace the label.
They’re afraid because although they supported the DSP, they’re just finding out they don’t OWN it.
I’m from Wisconsin. It had always been a have. For left winged socialists
I will say there was a mayor socialist, ran as socialist and governed as a “good” socialist in 1948-60 and he was fantastic
Bit he wasn’t crazy and so great things amd Milwaukee had a huge manufacturing base, unions and it worked, until it didn’t and the factory’s , most went south or to China.
We became the rust belt.
But many old timers have good feelings about socialism because of him
The socialist mayor of Milwaukee during the 1950s was Frank P. Zeidler. He served as the city’s 41st mayor from 1948 to 1960, earning national acclaim for his fiscal responsibility, massive infrastructure projects like the County Stadium, and extensive suburban annexation.
I guess he ran out of other people money.
But truth, manufacturing did get greedy and when the Chinese started to make things cheaper, slave wages, there weren’t too many options
I will say there was a mayor socialist, ran as socialist and governed as a “good” socialist in 1948-60 and he was fantastic
No such thing. Never was, never will be, never CAN be.
Socialism and ‘good’ are antonyms.
you okay?
Hong is just a Democrat that is too far out too soon for most other Democrats. Those ‘other’ Democrats allowed their party to venture off this way to attract anyone that would vote with them. Well, you got them or rather they got you.
There is no substantive difference between Hong, Mandela, and Crowley. Only style. If any of those three win the state will continue to wage civil war against the US and its citizens on behalf of China.
God, please let this stupid woman win. What an object lesson she will provide!
That’s assuming that voters can learn something from this. America is too dumbed down and brainwashed to learn much of anything. The fact that these Marxist Islamists are even candidates tells us that. Time to get serious, America.
“Democrats rushed to pull a candidate who had dropped out of the gubernatorial race back into it… Her downfall has thrown the Democratic primary field into upheaval less than a month from Election Day.”
Whassamatter — is Lautenberg still dead?
I am more convinced than ever that VA-8 will be one of the next districts where a DSA radical unhorses an incumbent D congressman. I just voted in the VA primary today, the first weekend of early voting. Turnout has been light all month, and while most of the R and D candidates (including all Beyer’s rivals) had planted their signs in the grass around the government center, one was conspicuously absent – the incumbent congressman Beyer had no signs at all (!). None. Zilch. No signs, no mailers, no nothing. It seems like he is hiding under a rock, afraid to stick his head out.
There is a certain satisfaction in watching the communist retards becoming a victim of their own creation.
Dems lost control of their party with obama. They were afraid if they questioned anything they would be labeled racist, and it would be career ending for them. So they kept their head down and waited for obama to term out, and thought things would go back to normal. The only problem with that was Dementia Joe had little ability to think for himself, and the dysfunction compounded.
That was covered very well in the book “Stuff White People Like” which is pure genius material, IMHO. They openly stated back in 2008/9 that white people like Obammy only because they are scared to be labeled as a racist if they don’t. That is the basic MO of every fringe candidate. Every time a policy is challenged, they label the questioner as a ” ‘phobe” that is particular to that candidate, and the more messed up the candidate is, the more levels of armor in their possession. As a straight white christian conservative male, I have to stand on merit; and to be fair, I am OK with that
I’m trying to come up with a ‘Hong jury’ gag. let me get back to you.
