Damning Recording of Alleged Charlie Kirk Assassin’s Former Lover Shown in Court

“Utah State Bureau of Investigation Agent Brian Davis read portions of the text exchange in court as prosecutors continued presenting evidence against Robinson”

A recording of Lance Twiggs, the former lover of alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson, was played in court on Thursday.

His version of the story is devastating to Robinson’s defense.

According to Twiggs, Robinson basically admitted to murdering Kirk and supposedly came to regret his decision before turning himself in.

FOX News has details:

Tyler Robinson allegedly admitted to assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk in text messages to his roommate after the Sept. 10, 2025, shooting, apologized for his actions and claimed he acted because he “had enough of his hatred,” according to testimony Thursday during Robinson’s preliminary hearing.

Utah State Bureau of Investigation Agent Brian Davis read portions of the text exchange in court as prosecutors continued presenting evidence against Robinson, 23, who is charged with assassinating Kirk outside a “Prove Me Wrong” event at Utah Valley University in Orem.

Reading from the exchange, Davis testified Robinson sent his roommate, Lance Twiggs, a message shortly after the shooting that read, “Stop what you’re doing. Look under the keyboard.”

Davis then read another alleged message from Robinson.

“I’m still okay, my love, but I’m stuck in Orem for a little while longer yet. Shouldn’t be long until I can come home, but gotta grab my rifle,” the message read. “Still, to be honest, I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you.”

Twiggs allegedly replied, “You weren’t the one who did it, right?”

“I am. I’m sorry.”

After Twiggs wrote, “I thought they caught the person,” Davis read Robinson’s alleged response.

“No, they grabbed some crazy old dude, then interrogated someone in similar clothing. I had planned to grab my rifle from the drop point shortly after, but most of that side of town got locked down,” Davis read. “It’s quiet, almost enough to get out, but there’s one vehicle lingering.”

The famous text messages were also read in court:

Professor Jonathan Turley appeared on FOX News later in the day and said he has no idea how the defense will refute any of this.

Now we know why Robinson’s defense team has repeatedly tried to delay the trial. They’re probably still trying to come up with a strategy.

Dare one ask what could possibly stop this case from going to trial at this point?

Setting aside the murder itself, the way these two talked to each other makes me sick to my stomach. I wanna puke.

What’s this world coming to when you can’t even trust your live-in tranny lover?

At this point, the goal has to be avoiding the death penalty. Following this hearing, a defense offer for a plea bargain for life would be expected; his guilt is pretty much a cooked goose at this point.
Utah has firing squad as an option.

Convict and execute the bastard already.

As for his defense team, I know everyone deserves to be represented but these seem to me to be a bunch of low lifes. I guess I could never be a criminal defense attorney. Not unless I believed in the innocence of my client.

Meanwhile idiot Candace Owens fans are convinced this is all just an op and Israel actually killed him with an ‘exploding mic’.

I am not making that up.

This is what these lunatics actually believe.
