Man Arrested in Connecticut After Allegedly Harassing, Assaulting Jewish Men

Once again, someone has been arrested for targeting Jewish people and using the language of the far left in the process. This seems to happen every few weeks now.
In this case, the alleged assault took place in New Haven, Connecticut. The alleged assailant reportedly used the word “genocide” and said “get out of my city” before trying to remove the kippah from one of their heads.

Update: New Haven police have identified and arrested Paul Smith, 36 of East Haven, after he harassed a group of Jewish men, knocking a kippah from one of their head’s.

‘Go back where you belong’: New Haven man slaps kippa off Jewish man’s head
A group of Jewish men were harassed in Connecticut on Tuesday, according to the New Haven Police Department, in an unprovoked altercation in which a man accused them of committing genocide and knocked off one of their kippas.
The three men were reportedly having a conversation on the sidewalk when a man began shouting at them, calling them “baby killers” and asking if they liked genocide.
“Get out of my city,” the man allegedly said. “Go back where you belong.”
The man shoved aside a fourth person who attempted to intervene, threw a rolled-up newspaper at the victims, and then slapped a kippa from one of their heads to the ground.
NHPD appealed to the public on Thursday for their aid in identifying the suspect.

The incident happened on Tuesday around 3:50 p.m. in the Crown Street and Temple Street area.
Police were approached by the victims, a New Haven man in his 40s, a New Jersey man in his mid-twenties, and another man who wished to remain anonymous. They told police that while they were standing on the sidewalk, a man they did not know began yelling at them from about 20 feet away.
According to police, the man appeared agitated and began yelling anti-Semitic statements at the men, and shouted “get out of my city,” and “go back where you belong.” Police said the men were “visibly identifiable members of the Jewish community.”
The victims also told police that the man approached them while continuing to yell at them and smelled of alcohol.
The suspect tried to shove a fourth person who tried to intervene, according to officials. The men told police the suspect threw a rolled-up newspaper at them, pointed at one of the men’s yarmulkes before “slapping it to the ground,” before walking away on Crown Street towards downtown.
People on the left keep using language like ‘genocide’ to describe what’s happening in Gaza, it then gets amplified day after day in the liberal media and idiots like the man in this report act on it.

Very good observation, at minimum the initial three victims and the fourth guy who intervened should have been able to subdue this whacko and hold him for LEO. That they didn’t/wouldn’t tells us…well IDK exactly, more info/context might be able to explain why. It’s possible it comes down to folks encountering violence who simply weren’t mentally prepared to respond b/c they lacked experience, training and ‘worldview’ to provide them the necessary mental toughness.

Sure, there’s plenty of people out there who’d be better off had they received a timely butt kicking earlier in life to serve as an object lesson. They should be appealing for aid in identifying the subject because his features were so rearranged as to render him unidentifiable.
