Former President Joe Biden traveled to Chicago for the debut of former President Barack Obama’s Presidential Center on Thursday. Two years past the disastrous debate, which ended his bid for reelection, he appeared frail and disoriented.
In the clip below, Obama is seen leaving the stage at the end of the dedication ceremony. Jill Biden, having left her husband standing alone beside the podium, exits right behind him. Looking visibly confused, Biden removes his Ray-Bans and squints into the crowd. He then raises a hand as if recognizing someone and, in a weak, faltering voice, asks, “Where’s my granddaughter?”
With his hands held in T-Rex pose, he then shuffles toward the exit.

It was a sad scene. But it was also a frightening one. This is the man Democrats wanted Americans to believe was fit for four more years in the Oval Office. Had fate not intervened — and had Jill Biden and those around him succeeded in their efforts — this visibly frail and diminished man could now be a year and a half into a second term as president of the United States.
What was Jill Biden thinking? Even MAGA supporters found it cruel.

Setting aside the human decency angle, putting the visibly ailing former president on public display is politically self-destructive. Every appearance serves as a reminder of what many Americans view as one of the biggest scandals in modern political history: the effort to convince the public that Biden was fit to serve as commander in chief and, worse, that he was capable of serving a second term.
It was terrible politics, but I suppose that’s no longer Jill Biden’s concern. She chose to release her memoir in the months leading up to the midterms, guaranteeing renewed attention to one of the Democratic Party’s most uncomfortable chapters. Perhaps she viewed it as an opportunity to tell her side of the story. Or perhaps it was something more personal — a form of revenge against those she believes forced her husband out of the race.

I can’t imagine a more disrespectful, contemptuous thing for Jill to do than parade her senile husband before the world as a prop for an event she’s a principal participant.

The use of my granddaughter, my son, my brother, my wife. These all come when they can no longer recall names. I’ve been watching it progress for the past year.
It’s the stage where they know the person, most of their significance, but names are gone. The existence of nieces, nephews, and many cousins is fading.
It is a terrible way to decline. From my understanding- aside from blood pressure and blood sugar- taking a daily multivitamin is the biggest predictor of this not developing. Vitamin C was a big one named.
All interest in Jill Biden is publisher-media driven, she just isn’t an interesting public figure. She could blackmail democrats, but doing so would only lead to exposing her own malicious perfidy.
