Manifesto, Weapons Recovered From Suspects in San Diego Islamic Center Shooting

Manifesto, Weapons Recovered From Suspects in San Diego Islamic Center Shooting

You know what we didn’t get? Names of the dead suspects. Weird…

You’ll notice an important missing detail from this article.

Names. Despite a lengthy press conference, law enforcement did not identify the two dead suspects in the San Diego Islamic Center shooting.

In fact…the officials remained pretty vague concerning details about the suspects.

Law enforcement discovered a manifesto and over 30 guns while executing three search warrants:

Law enforcement officials also served search warrants on the suspects’ electronic devices during the investigation. Investigators said they recovered a manifesto, as well as writings outlining religious and racial beliefs “of how the world they envision should look,” according to FBI Special Agent in Charge Mark Remily.

“These subjects did not discriminate in who they hated, and let me be very clear to anyone who thinks they can end the world through violence: They’re sorely mistaken,” Remily said. “The FBI, our law enforcement partners and our community are much stronger than you think.”

Mark Remily of the FBI said during a news conference that authorities have uncovered writings by the suspects. Authorities declined to specify what ideologies or views were expressed by the shooters, only that they met online and shared a “broad hatred” toward different religions and races.

There was no specific threat against the Islamic center, which is the largest mosque in San Diego, but authorities found that the suspects engaged in “generalized hate rhetoric,” [San Diego Police Department Chief Scott] Wahl said.

Got it? This part:

Authorities declined to specify what ideologies or views were expressed by the shooters, only that they met online and shared a “broad hatred” toward different religions and races.

There was no specific threat against the Islamic center, which is the largest mosque in San Diego, but authorities found that the suspects engaged in “generalized hate rhetoric.”

I refuse to post photos of the alleged suspects or any rumors about them until law enforcement confirms their identity.

The fact that officials have not done so makes me suspicious and motivates me even more not to report information provided by “sources.”

The officials did name the three victims: Amin Abdullah, Mansour Kaziha, and Nadir Awad.

Wahl said the victims attempted to lead the suspects away from the mosque and to the parking lot.

Rumor is they were minors. That might be why there are no names.

destroycommunism | May 19, 2026 at 4:42 pm

we have the right in america to know what the pd knows

its not their job to determine what we should know

no excuses like there are copy cats etc

we know there are copycats etc

doj harmeet we need you to over ride these locals

and this whole age thing ..they’re minors

the excuse is they cant be rehabilitated if we know their names…
PURE BS

and when they arent alive anymore the rehab is with god so f the lefty agenda of protecting the criminals

henrybowman in reply to destroycommunism. | May 19, 2026 at 4:56 pm

“and this whole age thing ..they’re minors”

One has been reported as either 18 or 19 – not a minor either way. And oddly, photos of the 17-year-old were available well before photos of the adult.

30 guns found? Homeboy didn’t steal no 30 guns from his mama, so why did he have to steal any?

This whole thing smells so far. Better gild it up, spinmeisters.

destroycommunism in reply to henrybowman. | May 19, 2026 at 5:03 pm

mom needed the excuse that they were “stolen” ( which they might have been) to limit her responsibility in this

until the parent(s) of the urban homeboys are held accountable for their maniacs,,, we will continue to see “minors” given the streets as the lefty gestapo requires

its a war and the left is winning battle after battle

we have the right in america to know what the pd knows

    No we don’t.

You cannot give any article in the Constitution or Supreme Court ruling that says the police have to disclose information in a active investigation.

its not their job to determine what we should know

Actually, at this point in time, it is.

They have the right and the responsibility to not compromise their investigation or any potential case against the people who may have influenced the shooters, given them the weapons, or sold the weapons.

They may have leads or links implicating othevs, but need time to chase them out. Should they display their hand now, some o those could go dark and avoid prosecution.

Let the Big Boys do their thing.

we have the right in america to know what the pd knows

    No, we don’t.

doj harmeet we need you to over ride these locals

What conceivable authority could she have to do that?

One caveat, I only want to know what they know not what they suspect. If they don’t actually know it or have it verified, I don’t want rumor..

      CaptTee in reply to 4rdm2. | May 20, 2026 at 11:21 pm

Do you want the jury pool tainted?

Of course in this case, there will be no trial, because the suspected perpetrators were the judge, jury and executioners!

One was 19

Minor no more

BUT, despite endless attacks on places of Jewish worship amd
Murders of Jewish peoples, we get 5 minutes on the News and then .. crickets

But Muslims attacked

Oh this will be endless

so minors cna determine teir sexual habits thier gender their “rights” to abortions etc as if they were adults but then get the protection from their groomers aka lefty

Eddie Coyle in reply to gonzotx. | May 20, 2026 at 8:24 am

Not to mention when Christians or Catholics are targeted, such as Minneapolis Catholic School by a TRAN. The Tennessee school by a TRAN. The Army base shooting by a Sgt divorcing a TRAN Wife. Charlie Kirk Assassin dating a TRAN. Trump shooter #1 non binary, Colorado niteclub shooter non binary. Pulse nightclub shooter Muslim and repressed Homosexual. ALL THIS GETS BURIED, not to mention Islamic terror (New Orleans, NYC, etc) and especially Black on White violence (daily).

They may be fellow travellers of Hasan Piker.

    ztakddot in reply to Q. | May 19, 2026 at 6:00 pm

Piker’s a muslim and hates Jews. Perhaps they had their wires crossed in more ways than one.

This am, AoS says LEO did release the names

“The alleged gunmen in a shooting rampage that left three people dead outside a San Diego mosque have been identified as 17-year-old Cain Clark and 18-year-old Caleb Velasquez, according to a law enforcement source.”

CBStockdale in reply to Andy. | May 20, 2026 at 8:37 am

I also wondered why Mary Chastain (the article’s author) said simply that law enforcement didn’t name the gunmen. Maybe she meant that no official statement, as opposed to a “source”, had provided the names.

destroycommunism | May 19, 2026 at 5:37 pm

lefty allowing some info to come out:

hated everyone ,,feared white replacement

angry at women

The writings, obtained by The Associated Press, include hateful rhetoric toward Jewish people, Muslims and Islam, as well as the LGBTQ+ community, Black people, women, and both the political left and right. Both express beliefs that white people are being eliminated, and one writes about mental health struggles and being rejected by women.

gonzotx in reply to destroycommunism. | May 19, 2026 at 6:56 pm

Rejected by women.. that right there is the bullseye

CommoChief in reply to gonzotx. | May 19, 2026 at 7:27 pm

Maybe and you may very well be onto something there. Frankly I suspect you are. Given their age and pervasive social media with online dating being the primary way folks meet for relationships though being ‘rejected by women’ isn’t uncommon within that context.

As an example many women set their parameters for a potential match online to men with a height of 6’ft or greater (15% of Men in USA) with a minimum income of 100K (17% of Men in the USA) Just screening for both those two criteria means women have ‘rejected’ over 97% of men (multiply .17 X .15 =.0255. Thus less than 3 Men in every hundred meet those two qualifications. Haven’t screened for martial status to avoid married men, nor sexual preference to select for only ‘straight’ Men. We haven’t selected for education level, family background, whether he is charming, can make her laugh, is pleasant, is a gentleman, where he lives, whether he is divorced or has children..nor whether he is conventionally ‘good looking’ or even if he is obese or not. Nor whether he displays one of the running list of over 100 ‘icks’.

The point is young Women today are extraordinarily picky, often unreasonably so, with inflated expectations of what traits their ‘match’ must possess that narrow down the number of Men to nearly impossible. Then there’s the problem that this near perfect dude needs to find that same young Woman attractive, in fact mist find her to be more attractive than all the other Women who would also be clambering for this ideal paragon of Manhood.

GWB in reply to CommoChief. | May 20, 2026 at 1:57 pm

I’m only going to critique your statistics: the number of men who are tall and who have better than average incomes overlap to a large degree. So it’s not really .17 x .15. It’s probably closer to eliminating 85-90% of men. But your premise is correct.

CommoChief in reply to GWB. | May 20, 2026 at 7:22 pm

Any overlap on those two data point characteristics would lower the total remaining number of Men who met both (calculated at .0255 if we don’t initially account for overlap) not increase it. IOW instead of 97.45% of Men eliminated it would probably be higher. Though in fairness age range would skew the # as well. People usually hit peak earnings beginning in 40’s. Some 6’ft septuagenarian earning $100K+ off pension and returns on investments made over a lifetime probably isn’t what most most young Women have in mind when they set their parameters.

You’ll rightly note that there are far too many people (here included) seeking the identities of the gunmen so they can pigeon hole them according to their race/ethnic/religion/whatever and disassociate them from their own tribe.

36 hour rule is still in effect here.

“These subjects did not discriminate in who they hated, and let me be very clear to anyone who thinks they can end the world through violence: They’re sorely mistaken,”

Yet in a world full of juicy rich targets, they chose a mosque at random, is that what I’m supposed to believe?

Ironically, these gunmen chose the gathering place of a religion that believes that they can/must end the world through violence.

Odd that…

henrybowman | May 19, 2026 at 5:39 pm

“These subjects did not discriminate in who they hated’
Oops.
If you hate indiscriminately, can you commit ANY crime that isn’t a hate crime?

Milhouse in reply to henrybowman. | May 19, 2026 at 8:35 pm

Yes. A hate crime is defined as a crime committed because of the victim’s perceived membership in some larger group. So even if you’re a complete misanthropist, and hate all human beings including yourself, any crime you commit for any reason other than the victim’s humanity is not a hate crime. If there’s a reason why you chose this human out of all humans, then obviously his humanity wasn’t the reason for your crime.

However in this case the claim that “These subjects did not discriminate in who they hated’ makes no sense and can’t be true.

      4rdm2 in reply to Milhouse. | May 20, 2026 at 6:26 am

It absolutely can be true. They attacked the target they attacked that is true. The manifesto or the things they gave giving their reasons could have been in discriminatory and hating a wide swathe of different people, Not particularly concentrating on any one. It could’ve been a target of opportunity that they thought would make the biggest splash. It doesn’t have to be because they had a specific animus against that specific group.

        Milhouse in reply to 4rdm2. | May 20, 2026 at 7:03 am

No, it can’t be true, because so long as they didn’t hate everyone they must have discriminated between those they hated and those they didn’t. That they hated a lot of people doesn’t change that. We know they hated Jews, Moslems, black people, gay people, trans people, Democrats, Republicans, but they didn’t hate white Christian straight nonpartisan people. By definition that’s discrimination.

They may not have been concentrating on just one of their many hatreds, but it remains the case that Moslems were one of their hatreds, and they attacked the mosque because of that hatred.

That they were also planning to attack other targets, each because of a different one of their hatreds, doesn’t change that.

Contrast this with the attack on the Pulse dance club in Orlando. For weeks we had a national guilt trip because it was assumed to have been a crime motivated either by hatred of gays or of Hispanics, or both. Then we found out that no, it was motivated only by jihadist fervor, and the target was chosen at random. The victims weren’t killed for being gay or for being Hispanic but for being American. That doesn’t seem to be the case here.

M Poppins in reply to Milhouse. | May 20, 2026 at 9:02 am

There’s no such thing as “hate crime”, a term invented by the left to punish opposition. The crime is murder.

Milhouse in reply to M Poppins. | May 20, 2026 at 9:37 pm

You are wrong. There is such a thing as a hate crime, and most hate crimes are not murder. A hate crime is any crime whose motive is the victim’s perceived membership in some larger group. Such a crime targets the entire group, and thus deserves a harsher sentence.

destroycommunism | May 19, 2026 at 5:39 pm

interesting side note

if the security guard who tried to stop the garbage had any social media that was anti israel>>>american would that be revealed ??

destroycommunism | May 19, 2026 at 5:44 pm

anti semitic attack against the mayor of sd?

Hours later, as San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, 48, stepped up to the podium for an evening briefing alongside law enforcement, an unidentified woman in the crowd ripped into him with a profanity-laced rant and held him personally responsible for the bloodshed.

“This is a f—ing direct result of your leadership! Your leadership!” she yelled. “Our Muslim brothers and sisters have been talking to you for how long? You had to f—ing listen to them, Todd, just like you did with ICE.”

She added, “And you’ll keep doing it as long as it lines your f—ing pockets! Do something! Worst approval rating than a fascist dictator with s–t in his hands!”

Gloria—San Diego’s first openly gay mayor and first person of color to hold the office—paused for several seconds, stared down at the lectern, then carried on with his prepared remarks as if nothing had happened.

This doesn’t smell right. CA hispanics aren’t known to be that brand of right wing nut job. Anything is possible but it would be unusual.

Photos are on the net. Speculation about gender orientation.

Yet another incident that underscores the pure evil of the American media. This appears to be the start of another demonic media cycle:

– Perp(s) start shooting and killing. If the perp is a guy named Muhammad who was yelling “Aloha snack bar!” the media immediately goes dark and instead we get a snotty self-righteous lecture about “America’s sick obsession with guns.”

– If initial details come out they are often deliberately misleading and designed to give a false picture. By the time an (semi)accurate description of the incident finally gurgles to the surface the media quickly moves on. I find it weird we know a comparative lot about the minor Cain Clark but much less about Caleb Vasquez.

– Already the authorities and media are leaking (or making up) a few details that are being used to reinforce the preferred Communist narrative. “Generalized hate” (whatever that means). “Hate messages” on the firearms. Recall the shooting in Minnesota where the Communists claimed the perp was some right-winger inspired by Trump and totally not a political appointee of Walz?

If the entire American corporate media were to vanish tomorrow I will bet most of the political violence and strife in the US would vanish almost overnight. They have the blood of tens of millions of innocents on their hands in their insane quest for total Communist rule. Today’s American journalists make Joseph Goebbels look harmless by comparison.

StillNeedToDrainTheSwamp | May 19, 2026 at 8:15 pm

This a little bit misleading. The names were released before this press conference. The press conference stated they weren’t saying their names to not give them the notoriety many gunmen seek.

Hence the reason why I am very hard on anyone who reaches out to genuine far rightists.

Hatred injected via podcast and tik tok translates to irl, and causes irrational bigots to do it in practice.

“These subjects did not discriminate in who they hated” is inconsistent with their having “religious and racial beliefs ‘of how the world they envision should look'”. If they had such a vision then there must be people they didn’t hate.

If, according to AP, their writings “include hateful rhetoric toward Jewish people, Muslims and Islam, as well as the LGBTQ+ community, Black people, women, and both the political left and right”, and expressed “beliefs that white people are being eliminated”, that sounds exactly like the movement that terms itself “Christian nationalist”, or “Christian Identity”. So it’s not some random thing, it’s a specific thing, pushed by specific people.

henrybowman in reply to Milhouse. | May 19, 2026 at 9:29 pm

It all depends on what the meaning of “people” is.

“They have redefined democracy, or rather redefined ‘demos,’ to include only Good People.
Then they created the new word populism to denote what before had been called democracy.”
    –PETER HÖNIG

Milhouse in reply to henrybowman. | May 20, 2026 at 1:28 am

But this is the exact opposite. To make it true both that they hate all people and that they don’t hate everyone, they’d have to define the bad people as people, and the good people as something else.

I mean, if they hated all people equally, then why would they care about white ones being eliminated?

Just a heads up… Dennis Prager said that he would rather have “Christian nationalist” running the country than the Left. Depends on just what that term can mean.

Milhouse in reply to alaskabob. | May 20, 2026 at 7:04 am

Maybe. He’s assessing two different kinds of evil, and how much damage each can do.

Eddie Coyle in reply to Milhouse. | May 20, 2026 at 8:40 am

Not equivalent. One evil, one just wrong regarding religion.. Even then the harm of governing by Christian principals vs those of the Left are not even close. Ask a kid confused about their sexuality about the potential surgical outcome of each. Absolutely in this day and age nothing wrong with being a nationalist. Putting America first is decades late.

Milhouse in reply to Eddie Coyle. | May 20, 2026 at 9:40 pm

First, are we talking about “Christian Identity” or “Christian nationalism”?

“Christian Identity” is pure evil, and not even Christian.

Christian nationalism is less evil than that, but it calls for the overthrow of the USA and its replacement with a theocracy, so it’s at least as evil as the left.

M Poppins in reply to alaskabob. | May 20, 2026 at 9:06 am

If only there actually were Christian nationalists.

GWB in reply to M Poppins. | May 20, 2026 at 2:08 pm

There are – in the older, narrower meaning of the phrase. Just not nearly as many as the Progressives would like to think. Demand outpacing supply, once again, on the left.

Eddie Coyle | May 20, 2026 at 8:17 am

Once again the shooters are TRANS or +++ involved. The MSM was HUNGRY for it to be a White Suprematist (or better yet, a Jew). HOW QUICKLY WILL THEY BURY THIS STORY?

Capitalist-Dad | May 20, 2026 at 8:39 am

Churches attacked, synagogues attacked, people stabbed, rape gangs ignored, “infidels” mowed down at Christmas markets, entire cities burned by BLM/Antifa stormtroopers, etc.—we get crickets!

But if these two can be branded as “right wing” our Izvestia-on-the-Hudson MSM will turn it into years of leftist propaganda.

The two shooters were apparently angry at about everyone. Trump, muslims, jews, women and so on. Since they can’t be tied to the right this story will disappear by Friday.
