Dem Rep Calls for Reparations for Illegal Aliens ‘Traumatized’ By ICE

“Because, at the end of the day, the people that have been inflicting this harm need to be prosecuted.”

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) hosted a hearing on Friday titled “Kidnapped and Disappeared: Trump’s Attack on Children.” During her remarks before a “panel of experts,” Jayapal called for taxpayer-funded reparations for illegal immigrants who have been traumatized by the Trump administration’s deportation program.

Jayapal, one of the most progressive members of Congress, said: “We also need offensive actions around prosecutions. We need real accountability. Because, at the end of the day, the people who have been inflicting this harm need to be prosecuted.

She argued, “We are going to have to have some form of reparations for the kids and the families that have been traumatized through all of this.”

The New York Post noted that Jayapal made no mention of “how the reparations would be funded” or how eligibility would be determined.

But she is committed to seeing this through. “There’s a lot that’s on our plate, but I want you to know how seriously we take this issue and how committed I am,” she said.

Even by the Democrats’ already low standards, it was an extraordinary statement.

Following Jayapal’s predictable “no” vote on Friday night’s House-passed stopgap bill to fund the entire Department of Homeland Security for 60 days, including ICE, she issued the following statement:

I have been clear since the start of the appropriations process; I will not vote to give Trump’s ICE or CBP another cent without major reforms. ICE and CBP agents have killed American citizens on the streets, terrorized communities, and forever traumatized families and children. Republicans in the House and Senate continue to refuse to implement any meaningful reforms — it appears they want ICE and CBP to continue their lawless reign of terror against American families and communities.

It appears Jayapal has not recognized that these individuals entered the country in violation of federal immigration laws, and that many of those who’ve been deported have committed additional crimes — some heinous — during their time in the U.S.

Nor has she acknowledged that the two fatal ICE-related shootings occurred when the behavior of anti-ICE agitators Renee Good and Alexander Pretti moved well beyond the bounds of legal protest and involved direct interference with federal law enforcement operations.

Outside of Jayapal’s political base, it’s unlikely that many Americans would support paying reparations to individuals who entered the country unlawfully. President Trump campaigned and won on his promise to close the Biden administration’s open border and deport illegal aliens.

While this proposal is a nonstarter, it’s infuriating that a U.S. congresswoman would fight harder for the rights and the well-being of illegal immigrants than she would for the U.S. citizens who elected her to office.

Doesn’t China allow for slavery? Redistributive change schemes. Diversity, too. They were and are orthodox Pro-Choice. That said, to their credit, they are, if not in principle, in practice, pro-emigration reform.

“Because, at the end of the day, the people that have been inflicting this harm need to be prosecuted.”

I agree. Let’s lock up all the Democrats that have enabled the current illegal immigrant crisis.

This stupid Marxist tool is deranged.

Any time a conservative refers to vile leftists/Dhimmi-crats by one of their brazenly inapposite and self-congratulatory monikers — e.g., “liberal or “progressive” — that characterization should properly be placed in quotation marks, to connote its subjective and inaccurate nature.

The term “liberal” had a long and valorous history before the Marxists appropriated and sullied it; whereas I don’t believe the term “progressive” has ever meant anything other than it still does today — big-government tyranny — all the way back to at least Teddy Roosevelt. That’s why it’s my moniker of preference for them.

How about reparations for those whom the illegals have traumatized?

How about reparations for those whom have had their representation diminished by the factoring in of illegals for congressional voting?

How about reparations for those who have had their tax dollars stolen in order to feed, clothe, house, and educate illegals?

Maybe we should offer a compromise. Fund the proposed reparations by Civil asset forfeiture for the individual politicians, their donors, the NGOs and their donors which pushed for open borders, decades of lax enforcement.

Pretty sure the d/prog party, the Catholic Church, Lutheran Church (among many other religious entities) and the entire edifice of interconnected NGOs will not be in favor of reparations if they had their assets confiscated and sold to fund the costs.

Jaypal wants illegals to receive reparations for supposed trauma. Yet there are thousands of SWAT raids annually that have caused real, documented trauma to U.S. citizen families (thousands of operations, hundreds involving children). But no one has asked for “reparations” for them.
If anyone was due reparations it would be them, as for illegals, the law treats presence itself as the issue to remedy via removal, not payouts.
.

Jayapal obviously hasn’t watched “Goodfellas.” In that movie, after making a huge score, members of Jimmy Conway’s heist crew start acting stupidly in expectation of receiving their shares of the loot. Eventually Conway whacks all of them to shut them up and keep the money for himself. Jayapal might take a lesson from this: a lot of folks might decide it’s easier to use “extreme predjudice” and just keep their hard earned dollars.

The only thing I’ll pay for is a one-way ticket to send jayapal to the muslim country of her choice, in baggage of course.

I call for tax refunds for Americans terrorized, ridiculed, and enslaved by seditious parasitic Congress Critters pretending to represent them.

It seems like a bad idea to reward those in the majority of voters who elected the parasites to begin with.

All this “trauma” and the two unfortunate losses would (not could) have been avoided if the DEMOCRAT leadership in MN had bothered to work with ICE. Other democrat cities did work with ICE and were pretty much riot free.

This means Walz, Ellison, Frey and maybe the rest of the “democrat” leaders in MN,. How many were in on the fraud and wanted to change the message so as to “save” themselves? Sooner or later truth catches up – I only hope truth appears – I feel sorry for the decent citizens in the state who have to put up with this stuff. MN is dying…Mpls has lost a ton of office space companies, thus lower taxes….. etc.

Jayapal is out of her gourd. Even the title of her hearing — “Kidnapped and Disappeared: Trump’s Attack on Children” — is bat guano crazy.

Jayapal can go back to Chennai if she wants to live in a Third World nation. Don’t import problems.

If anyone other than an extreme Leftist said this, they’d be excoriated for belittling the involuntary servitude of black Africans here in the New World by comparing what they went through (for which today their descendants are demanding “reparations”) with the experience of those who, through their own illegal acts, voluntarily subjected themselves to the effects of the enforcement of US law.

The people traumatized are the American taxpayer. We pay for this we are forced to pay higher prices for resources like housing and food while his idiot condoms US for not doing enough for the illegals.

Foreign born Marxist wanting foreigners to get paid.

AOC says if the reparations are taxable, it will bring more money in and boost the economy. She stole that from Nancy Pelosi.

How about reparations for US citizens traumatized by illegal aliens?

Ahh. Shovel-face is at it again…

destroycommunism | March 30, 2026 at 10:31 am

we are just another kentaji away from that being legalized

What illegals have received already is more than any reparations could ever be. They were given more than our wounded vets and poor American citizens. They almost have total immunity to our laws and offer NOTHING in return except contempt for us and our country!

Has she written a check out of her own funds to pay her share? While she’s at it she can write my share out of her personal account at the same time.

That board to the face seems to have affected what passes for a brain behind it. Yes, I am not above personal attacks. 😉

I want reparations for being traumatized by the democraps.
