Rep. Jayapal Vows to ‘Fight’ on Behalf of 8 Violent Criminal Illegals Deported to South Sudan
“The Trump administration just dropped 8 immigrants — who they were previously holding in a shipping container in Djibouti — into war torn South Sudan. Cruel. Inhumane. There aren’t words to describe how disgusting this is.”
After the Supreme Court slapped down a district court judge’s brazen defiance on Thursday in the case involving eight violent criminal illegal immigrants that the United States seeks to deport to South Sudan, the offenders were transported to their destination after spending weeks in Djibouti at a U.S military base in what was originally supposed to be a temporary layover:
The eight men had been shackled for weeks inside an air-conditioned shipping container on a U.S. military base in Djibouti, in the Horn of Africa. Before coming to the United States, the men came from Vietnam, Mexico, Laos, Cuba and Myanmar. Just one is from South Sudan, a violence-plagued country. All had been convicted of serious crimes in the United States, though many had either finished or were about to finish serving their sentences.

The migrants’ lawyers have contended that if they are sent to South Sudan, they will probably be subjected to torture. The U.S. government has said in its own filings that the South Sudanese government has given diplomatic assurances that this will not happen.
In an announcement confirming the arrival of the eight illegals to South Sudan, DHS again provided a brief history of who they were and their convictions. Here are a few of them for reference:
Enrique Arias-Hierro, a Cuban illegal alien, was arrested by ICE on May 2, 2025. His criminal history includes convictions for homicide, armed robbery, false impersonation of official, kidnapping, and robbery strong arm.
On April 30, 2025, ICE arrested Cuban illegal alien Jose Manuel Rodriguez-Quinones. He has been convicted of attempted first-degree murder with a weapon, battery and larceny, and cocaine possession and trafficking.

Nyo Myint, an illegal alien from Burma, was arrested by ICE on February 19, 2025. Myint has been convicted of first-degree sexual assault involving a victim mentally and physically incapable of resisting; sentenced to 12 years confinement. Myint has also charged with aggravated assault-nonfamily strongarm.
Of the eight, only one was from South Sudan. The countries the other men were from did not want to take them back.
Naturally, woketivists in the Democratic Party are outraged, including Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), who called their deportation “disgusting” and vowed Democrats will “keep fighting” for the “right” of criminal illegals to remain in America.

Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin was among the first to set the record straight on who Jayapal was defending:

Left unresolved is how Jayapal plans to “fight” for these people. Will she pull a Chris Van Hollen stunt and try to travel to South Sudan on their behalf? I almost feel like House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) would be on board with funding such a trip, considering how bad the optics would be for Democrats if she did so.
That said, the optics are already terrible, with Jayapal making the GOP’s jobs easier ahead of the 2026 midterms by providing them with much material with which to work.

Despite (D) ludicrous claims, the only way to deport a (naturalized) American citizen is if you can 1st prove fraud in their paperwork – it’s how we were able to deport Nazi SS Concentration Camp guards who lied about never being war criminals – even decades after their naturalization.
Also, despite ludicrous (D) claims, we are NOT “deporting citizen children”. If the custodial parental unit is being deported they have the right to keep custody of their kids and take their kids with them – they don’t have the right to stay here using the kids as anchors to prevent legal deportations of themselves.
As for this grandstanding PoS standing up for the “rights” of convicted non-citizen felons to stay and continue performing the felonies Americans were not willing to do – I’m reminded of a cartoon where a PoS lawyer was arguing before a judge that his deranged-looking client accused of being an axe murderer had a “right” to be released on bail pending trial. While the client was in the background toying with the axe in evidence on an evidence table. The judge acquiesced to his request on one condition – the defendant be released to the personal custody of the lawyer and be required to live with in the same room as the lawyer while awaiting trial.

Not exactly true. The Supreme Court ruled in Schneiderman v. United States, 320 U.S. 118 (1943) that open advocacy for violent communist revolution was within the scope of “attachment to the principles of the Constitution.” While Schneiderman won, it was caused by insufficient evidence.
I am of course aware of the improbability of deporting naturalized citizens. I’m just venting because I’m tired of immigrants coming here who hate the government or the culture and want nothing more than to change it back to what they had in the hell hole where they used to abide, It is especially irritating when the immigrant is someone privileged like jayapal or that nutjob in NY. It is not enough that they hate the US but they get elected (or attempt to) so that they can make actual changes we neither want not need. A million painful deaths for jayapal and all of her ilk.

If I threaten to or promote killing JR or (say) his family – I can end up in court.
If JR threatens to or promotes killing the President – HE will end up in court.

There aren’t words to describe how disgusting Jaypal is. Andrew Branca on his July 4th podcast’s provides additional legal and factual details on rogue judge Brian Murphy’s slap down by SCOTUS– twice. He needs to be removed from the bench for his multiple serious transgressions.
Branca explains why the Democrats fight so hard for foreign invaders: they need the hordes to help them acquire and keep power. The invaders should not be counted in the census. Without the count, the Democrats would have fewer congressmen and fewer votes in the Electoral college. Birthright citizenship also adds to their base. As he explains, birthright citizenship has never been the law of the land. We have records of the actual debates establishing 14A, and there is no doubt what “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” means. Born on US soil is a necessary, but not sufficient condition for citizenship by birth. Otherwise American Indians would have been citizens by birth, and they were not. It took the Congressional Snyder Act in 1924. If this question ever gets to SCOTUS, the Democrats will suffer a tremendous loss of power. So we can be sure they will fight like hell to keep these questions from SCOTUS.
Branca did not cover the law about what “shall” be done when a country refuses to take its own citizens. I have to locate the law, but as I remember it’s a “shall” not “may” type of law. For some reason, presidents won’t conform to the law which I think prohibits issuing visas to countries that won’t take their own citizens.
Not as if Cuba or Burma are going to care much what we do. I’m a bit surprised Vietnam didn’t take their guy back, or that Trump couldn’t work that into the trade agreement — “oh by the way, just one more thing…”

She’s lying. They were held in housing that is built to the specs of and shaped like a shipping container* in order to quickly move them to places where they are needed. I stayed in several during my time in Bosnia – quieter and more comfy than tents, to be sure. And fewer critters than the old Soviet-era barracks.
(* Some might be converted from shipping containers. But not the ones in the pics I saw of Alligator Alcatraz.)
