University of Cincinnati students broke into arena, stole alcohol: police
A pair of students from the University of Cincinnati allegedly broke into an arena in Cincinnati and stole various alcoholic drinks, which they attempted to smuggle back to their dorms.
According to court documents from the Hamilton County Municipal Court, UC students Owen Singer and Brom Schindler entered the Lindner Athletics Center on January 24 and cut through the building to access Fifth Third Arena, which was closed.
“While they were inside the arena, Mr. Schindler and Mr. Singer found coolers/bar located on the 3rd level with various brands of beer and liquor,” the court documents read. “They both stole several alcoholic beverages and loaded them in their pockets and bookbags.”
Officers said they accessed security camera video and were able to trace Schindler back to his dorm room in Turner Hall. Investigators reportedly “utilized the resources available by the university” to find Schindler’s dorm room, where they confronted him and found the backpack and jacket he was wearing in the security video.
Schindler allegedly gave police Singer’s name, and police were able to locate his residence in the Stratford Heights dormitory.

Now THERE’S the America I remember.
If they took their ill gotten gains to the rugby field I’d have saluted them.
Schindler allegedly gave police Singer’s name, and police were able to locate his residence.
Leftist solidarity! I’m impressed.
You think only leftist kids like to indulge in alcoholic beverages? Think again.
Is alcohol that expensive that you’d risk getting kicked out the university (let alone creating a criminal record for yourself)? They need a course in risk-reward ratio analysis.
