Suspect in Rhode Island Hockey Rink Shooting was Male Who Identified as a Female

Suspect in Rhode Island Hockey Rink Shooting was Male Who Identified as a Female

The ex-wife filed for divorce in 2020, claiming “gender reassignment surgery, narcissistic + personality disorder traits” as grounds for divorce.

Oh, look. We have a male posing as a female in a shooting.

The police confirmed Robert Dorgan, 56, as the man who shot his ex-wife, three kids, and a family friend at the Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, RI, on Wednesday.

Dorgan then killed himself.

Dorgan, who went by Roberta, killed two people, and three remain in critical condition.

The ex-wife filed for divorce in 2020, claiming “gender reassignment surgery, narcissistic + personality disorder traits” as grounds for divorce.

I emphasized narcissistic and personality disorder traits for a reason because WPRI buried them in a piece that makes Dorgan sound sympathetic.

But first…do you notice anything about is tattoos?

Considering how the ex-wife described Dorgan, these problems he reportedly suffered raised my eyebrows.

The gender issue started in 2020 with his father-in-law:

In early 2020, Dorgan went to the North Providence Police Department and reported he had recently undergone gender-reassignment surgery and that his father-in-law wanted him out of their North Providence home because of it.

Dorgan told police that his father-in-law, who shares the same surname, threatened to “have him murdered by an Asian street gang if he did not move out of the residence,” according to court documents.

Dorgan, who said he had lived at the home for seven years, told police that the father-in-law used a derogatory term for transgender individuals to say no such person was “going to stay in my house.”

The father-in-law was charged with intimidation of witnesses and victims of crimes and obstruction of the judicial system. Prosecutors later dismissed the charges.

Weirdly enough, WPRI did not share the father-in-law’s side of the story or any statements from the ex-wife.

Dorgan also made accusations against his mother, which the father-in-law supposedly used against him:

Also in 2020, Dorgan accused his mother of assaulting him and acting in a “violent, threatening or tumultuous manner,” according to police records. The mother was charged with simple assault and battery and disorderly conduct, and the case was also a point of contention in the dispute with his father-in-law.

An attorney for Dorgan’s mother did not immediately return a call for comment.

Dorgan told police his father-in-law “told me that if I did not drop the assault charges against my mother that further retaliation could be expected and that was another reason to have me killed.”

The case against his mother was also dismissed, according to court records.

I want to know why WPRI only showed one side of the story, especially since both cases were dismissed.

Something tells me it doesn’t show Dorgan in a decent light.

I’m going to stop now before I go full ginger on society

he shoots

he doesnt score

what a pos to destroy lives b/.c others dont want part of his mental illness

trans violence>>>call it what it is

How soon will our Leftist betters start referring to gun control as “gender affirming care’?

destroycommunism | February 17, 2026 at 11:23 am

as the article correctly states:

we have to act as if being trans is a normal mental state

the person might be or not be mentally ill

but if one thinks themselves not the gender they are born that in itself is a mental disorder

again,,,maybe not in the “ill” context

but it doesnt fit what would be considered normal

Believing you are not the sex you are is a delusion. People who are delusional* That the psychiatric professions have cut out one delusion to be considered ok or even good doesn’t change the real facts.

*Delusional disorder is a rare, serious mental illness (a form of psychosis) defined by holding one or more firm, false beliefs (e.g., being followed, poisoned, or loved from afar) that persist for at least one month.

That list is a lot longer. Canada shooting is missing. Charlie Kirk connection.

White men lead the pack in mass shootings whether or not they wear a dress. Seems like the psychological issues that drive this violent behavior is that same that compels them to have this gender psychosis in the first place.

Fuck you, Robert. Rot in hell.

What an insane world we live in

This is my shocked face.

People with serious mental disorders are not allowed to own guns therefore ‘trans’ should not have guns. Finally gun control I can support.

Codrea’s Law: “Anyone who can’t be trusted with a gun can’t be trusted without a custodian.”
Letting a ticking timebomb walk the streets and expecting a piece of paper in the statehouse to keep guns away from him is the height of stupid. You can’t even keep guns out of PRISONS reliably… but it has a better success rate than anything else that’s been tried,
And don’t let them sell you any used red flags with this argument. Red flags don’t result in the target getting institutionalized — they just result in taking his guns away… and then putting him back into society — exactly the same WRONG solution.

Thank you for putting into words how I’ve always felt about “red flag” laws. Even setting aside the 2A / due process issues with such laws, this type of legislation seems incredibly ineffective in preventing the types of problems that supporters claim to be interested in stopping. Having the police barge into a home, collect weapons (that they know about!) and then depart seems to be asking for many such targets to react poorly. If a judge really thinks a person is a threat to those around them, something else needs to be done.

The overwhelming majority of transsexuals are not a risk to anyone. Disarming the entire class because of a few instances of members going berserk is exactly what the 2A is there to prevent.

Also, the percentage of transsexuals who are dangerous and ought not to be disarmed is lower than the percentage of black people ditto.

    DStrat in reply to Mojo56. | February 18, 2026 at 12:46 pm

    Therein lies the problem.

After 23 years in municipal law enforcement I could have given you a list of ten people in my suburban city that were bug nutz crazy and should never be allowed to possess a firearm. I took several of them to the county mental ward for emergency detentions because they were a danger to themselves or others. When the time came for them to be “adjudicated” by the court to be mentally ill and in need of medical/psych intervention and, with that adjudication, be deemed not mentally fit enough to possess firearms, the court cut a deal with them and never made that legal adjudication. They were released back into the community to be later returned to the mental ward for another emergency detention at a later date, some many times over. It takes the court to deem them to have a “serious mental disorder” so they could not possess firearms. Courts rarely make that call. Liberal courts will likely NEVER make that call because of “gender dysphoria” even when that dysphoria is accompanied by any number of other recognized mental disorders.

That is though, “gun control I can support” as well.

It seems he was also a Trump supporter. Surprised the media seems to not have picked up on that. If and when that happens, the retort is – Dorgan blamed his problems on his being trans, not on being MAGA. Nobody in his life was aggravating him (intentionally or merely as he perceived it) for being MAGA.

“Dorgan told police that his father-in-law, who shares the same surname,”

So…he took his wife’s last name and was living with her family? And apparently his mother was too? Or am I missing something?

CFP is suggesting he’s a follower of Nick Fuentes. Not sure that means anything but there’s that

Story trending in Wa state (besides a statue-unconsititional-income tax) is the trans wrestler that sexually assaulted a girl during a match has with drawn from competing in the state tourney.

Wrestling and BJJ are sports which you shouldn’t do if you are concerned about your privates getting pummeled, but the video of this boy working the girl’s crotch on the mats in competition was abjectly flagrant.

how many people have to die or be seriously injured by these mentally ill trans people.. place them in a secure facility away from the normal population… let them in their fantasy where they can’t hurt people.

He and Graham Platner have similar tastes in tattoos.

Right on schedule.

The science is clear. Johns Hopkins did decades of monitoring their patients.

At 3-5 years after their surgeries, the patients are forced to confront the fact that they will NEVER actually be the opposite sex, that they were sold a lie, and that they’ve permanently destroyed their bodies for that lie. That’s when they turn suicidal and violent. Like clockwork.

At minimum our society must be willing to:
1. keep minor children away from the tranny nonsense
2. require all potential patients for ‘trans’ treatment to be otherwise mentally stable before administering any drugs, chemicals or surgery.

destroycommunism in reply to CommoChief. | February 17, 2026 at 4:28 pm

lefty will insist by their standards the trans are mentally stabile
    nothing will change

make 100% sure no tax money is allowed to be used for ones own beliefs
but that would then eliminate the charitable orgs that fleece the taxpayers

The kool aid drinking leftists will oppose all sorts of common sense, reality based policies as we see daily.

You are missing the point on mental issues; I’m arguing that a person with a diagnosis of any other metal illness can’t begin ‘transition’ until the other mental health diagnosis is stable….and by stable I mean without pharmaceuticals.

Teach Trannies not to kill, but they are brainwashed to do it to protect their mental illness as if normal people are out to do harm to them.

henrybowman in reply to Skip. | February 17, 2026 at 4:43 pm

And in an insane outburst of projection, shitlibs keep carrying signs saying “Protect Trans Kids” instead of “Protect Us from Trans Kids.” Nobody is killing trans kids — trans kids are killing scores.

“The ex-wife filed for divorce in 2020, claiming “gender reassignment surgery, narcissistic + personality disorder traits” as grounds for divorce.”

The article goes on to say, “Those reasons were then crossed out and replaced with “irreconcilable differences which have caused the immediate breakdown of the marriage.”

I’d love to have a journalist investigate exactly what screwed up facet of modern society would make someone decide that was preferable over the other.

The Uvale shooter was not trans.

Sexual identity confusion is one of the many manifestations of Borderline Personality Disorder, which also is characterized by very unstable moods, chaotic relationships, self damaging behaviors, desperate fears of being alone and ignored, rage directed towards anyone who disappoints them, relatively brief episodes of psychosis under stress, substance abuse, and markedly elevated risk for ultimate suicide. It is a chronic lifelong condition that usually first manifests in childhood, and often ends poorly. Borderlines typically see themselves as perpetually victimized, and often were abused as children. This can frequently trigger incredibly intense anger with violent outbursts directed towards anyone in the vicinity. The trans culture with its strong identification with victimhood, sexual ambiguity, and rejection of “cis” values is a real magnet for some of these people, and the sympathy it brings from media and enlightened progressives is affirming enough to offer at least a temporary haven. It also offers opportunities to go out with a bang as a cultural suicide bomber equivalent.

Boy, he sure had me fooled!

What a suprise/ sarc
