Crazed Leftist Who Yelled at Senator Jeff Flake Over Kavanaugh Vote Gets Job in Mamdani Administration

Crazed Leftist Who Yelled at Senator Jeff Flake Over Kavanaugh Vote Gets Job in Mamdani Administration

“as Mamdani’s commissioner of international affairs, she’ll act as the city government’s top liaison to the diplomatic community”

Back in 2018, when the left was gripped by Brett Kavanaugh hysteria, a woman confronted then-Arizona Senator Jeff Flake over his vote as he was boarding an elevator. Now this same woman has been given a job in the Zohran Mamdani administration.

The New York Post reported at the time:

On Friday morning, two women raced past reporters and security officers and blocked a senators-only elevator in the US Capitol. They cornered Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, who had just announced he was going to vote yes on moving Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination out of the Judiciary Committee and onto the Senate floor for a full debate.

The women wouldn’t let Flake leave until had they yelled at him, face to face, for several minutes. Anyone who thinks the two left-wing activists acted without a well-thought-out plan hasn’t read “The Intimidation Game” by Kim Strassel of the Wall Street Journal.

A CNN camera broadcast the event live, and from there it went viral. “Thank you,” Flake said, as he was finally allowed to exit after one of the women revealed, apparently for the first time, that she’d been sexually abused: “I was sexually assaulted, and nobody believed me. I didn’t tell anyone, and you’re telling all women that they don’t matter . . . That’s what you’re telling all of these women. That’s what you’re telling me right now. Look at me when I’m talking to you! You are telling me that my assault doesn’t matter . . . Don’t look away from me. Look at me.”

As you may recall, the liberal media ate this up with a spoon:

It turns out she’s a member of the far-left Working Families Party. What a surprise. And now she gets her reward.

Politico reports:

Mamdani rewards Working Families Party leader with international affairs appointment

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is appointing a leader from the Working Families Party as his international affairs head, rewarding a key political ally with a high-profile post as he seeks to consolidate his influence on the left.

Ana Maria Archila, one of two co-directors of the New York Working Families Party, does not have experience in diplomacy. But as Mamdani’s commissioner of international affairs, she’ll act as the city government’s top liaison to the diplomatic community, including the United Nations and the hundreds of foreign consulates located in New York City.

“Through her leadership at the Working Families Party, she has helped lead a movement that puts working New Yorkers first and demands a government that does the same,” Mamdani said in a statement to POLITICO. “She brings moral clarity and a deep commitment to the people who keep this city running. As commissioner of International Affairs, she’ll continue to do the same as she ensures that the world continues to be welcome in the city we all call home.”

She is also an “Israel critic.” Who could have guessed?

Forward reports:

Mamdani appoints progressive Israel critic to oversee NYC’s global diplomacy

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has appointed a political party leader who has led campaigns critical of Israel to lead his office’s international affairs unit, whose duties include interacting with the United Nations and handling diplomatic relations…

In 2024, Working Families Party urged voters to cast an “uncommitted” blank ballot in the Democratic presidential primary in protest of the Biden administration’s support for Israel’s war in Gaza. It also considered supporting Mamdani’s controversial bill in the state legislature to withhold state funds from New York–based nonprofits backing Israeli settlements and IDF activities — legislation critics labeled antisemitic.

Now that she is a government official, it’s going to be fun to see how she reacts if someone angrily confronts her in an elevator.

This is even better:
Emails show that Jeffrey Epstein’s PR team was manipulating Google results to suppress negative press online about Bill Clinton.

The biggest problem for the demonrat party is finding people stupid enough to help lead their revolution.

Ana Maria Achilles meets Mamdummy’s high standards.

Little did she know that she was actually auditioning for a job in the future Mamdani administration,
