‘The Warmth of Collectivism’ is Taught in Grade Schools

‘The Warmth of Collectivism’ is Taught in Grade Schools

NYC Mayor Zoran Mamdani’s collectivism is taught in public grade schools – I know, I witnessed it.

After listening to New York City Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani’s inauguration speech, I was struck by the ease in which he expressed his socialist ambitions. Without hesitation, he said: “We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism”.

As his followers cheered, I thought this is the result of years of K-12 indoctrination.

The term “collectivism” is one I know well from my tenure as a Providence school teacher. Back in 2021, teachers at my school, Esek Hopkins in Providence, Rhode Island, were given new DEI pedagogy to use in the classroom. We were told to embrace a concept called the “Whole Child” and to familiarize students with the term “collectivism”.

It wasn’t long before I noticed that “collectivism” had far reaching consequences that meant the abandonment of American values, history, and literature. It was pressed upon teachers and staff that all students “belonged” to the school. Policies usurping parental authority were created, classic literature was thrown out into dumpsters at the back of the school. Absent from my curriculum and classroom library were my books on the Holocaust like Anne Frank and classic American novels like James Baldwin’s Go Tell It On the Mountain, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare and many more.

In place of the classics we were mandated to use curriculum platforms that included hundreds of cartoon paperbacks with zero literary merit, instead the books mocked America and reflected racial division, class division and religious division.

The American flag was disappearing from the classroom, while flags from other countries were flown.

The Pledge of Allegiance was given little importance.  At that time it seemed to me that American culture was literally being erased and replaced with a new system of beliefs reflecting collectivism or as many of us felt at the time,  neo-marxism.  Everything we did while at school seemed to revolve around this new approach to educating children.  Most worrisome was this “whole child’ approach, an approach that dismissed family values, religious values while offering a new collective for children to be a part of.

Professional development separated white teachers from black teachers:

Holocaust units of study were intentionally removed  and replaced with “culturally responsive” literature that omitted the holocaust all together while depicting white people as evil, and black people as victims of white oppression.

Back then, it appeared to me that a sinister student brainwashing process was beginning.  Absent from the curriculum were universal themes children could relate to.  Instead children were growing radicalized as they began to see the world through one lens; that is as victims of America and American Judeo Christian values.  A new radical version of American culture was being pushed on impressionable children.

So I went public in July 2021 at Legal Insurrection with what I found, Rhode Island Teacher Ramona Bessinger Sounds the Alarm on CRT in Providence Schools.

And that subject me to years of retaliation.

While it may be hard for people to grasp the harm being done in our K-12 schools, you only need to look to the end product of years of indoctrination: college campuses are filled with antisemitism, anti-American, anti-white sentiment learned prior in K-12 schools across the country.   It’s gone unchecked, and continues to grow stronger.  There is no “DEI dustbin” from which concepts like collectivism sit.  DEI-collectivism is alive and well and currently in practice throughout the country.

My warning to every Jewish and Christian parent is to be very concerned for your children.  Because they will either be victims of K-12 indoctrination or they will become weaponized and used to inflict harm on innocent Americans.  In fact we are seeing many examples of this now as violence towards Christians and Jews is escalating.

This cult-like brainwashing process was framed around language like “collectivism” and DEB: diversity, equity and belonging.  Children at my school were taught to reject norms in place of the collective family.

Some children were masked in new sexual identities, intentionally confused about their gender: while American values are deconstructed to fit a “new world order” called “collectivism”.

I think it’s safe to say, in light of Zohran Mamdani’s recent remarks vowing to “swap rugged, individualism with the warmth of collectivism” and considering he was speaking to his young marxist following, it’s safe to say the K-12 brainwashing process is working. Our K-12 schools continue to be indoctrination centers, and if we continue to do nothing, America will be fully transformed into an unrecognizable dystopian society.

Back in 2021, once the void was created, students were exposed to marxist values without using the term marxism.  Collectivism “”diversity “”belonging” provided a new belief system, one that turned many children against their faith, their country and one that separated them from their very own bodies.

I caution parents to pay attention to everything taking place at school because our children’s identities are being changed, they continue to be indoctrinated, radicalized and weaponized against everything American. Jews are despised, Christianity is despised, being white is despised.

…violence towards Jews and Christians will continue to escalate.

In fact, Mamdani and his followers are not even trying to hide their disdain for Whites because they know nothing has stopped their collectivist agenda from infiltrating every aspect of American life.

Left unchecked, the “warmth of collectivism” will cease to be a social media topic for news outlets act shocked about, but rather, it will be our new world reality as Western culture is dismantled and evil is embraced.

I’ll take the column on the left.

They forgot to describe the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. The ones that pre-determine the outcome of Collectivism.

the idea of america is so strong that the lying cheating hypocritical leftists want it..they want the exact rockerfeller howard hughes elon musk etc etc experiences

but they want to go to war to get it and take over what has already been built by others and they want to show no respect to those hard working/brilliant wht people so they put it down at all levels at all times

and with a strong black matriarchy leading the way,,,weak minded but not weak of che like determination,,,,,they will and are gaining control…and no longer slowly and no longer secretly

other races than wht have contributed greatly to this country

and thats why the blmplo armies call them out as

sellouts
traitors to the race …even wht supremacists

they only get away with that b/c weak will gop ,,for the last 100+ years have capitulated to the left

the fed?>>pure socialism

fdrs ever lasting alphabet soup programs…stronger than ever

so strong in fact that the healthcare side of it has the gop doing everything BUT pushing capitalism as the ( correct) cure of the socialist inbred disease

charlie kirks murder actually galvanized many middle of the road young wht people to finally admit

we are gettn our as ses kicked..we better vote trump

but trumps charisma can not be duplicated so easily

and the vote counters of the left and rinos wont allow his type to win especially at the local levels

unless of course force is used to insure lefts force is stopped in its tracks

There are only two ways out and neither is voting.

So Mandami wants to attack white people? He’s as white as any Caucasian. Included in Caucasian cultures are Arabs of the ME; most Europeans and North Africans. And if one wants to be honest, many Asian cultures have skin tones lighter than caucasians. Oh, honesty is not an Islamic trait.

Thank you for this report, Ms. Bensinger! In Chicago, student enrollment is declining, many schools are at least half empty, and most students’ math and reading are well below average. The overpaid Chicago Teachers Union is perenially demanding and receiving higher wages. They contribute to the Democrat politicians, including the mayor, a former CTU organizer.

I’m sure they have DEI, too. Also, the teachers have been photographed protesting with misspelled signs.

The USA education system needs to be dismantled and rebuilt.

End teachers unions (and all public sector unions).

Looking at the compare/contrast chart we can see the fundamental differences between how, on average/in general women and men view/interact with the world. IMO the underlying result of pushing this crap in schools and society is that boys/men are viewed as dysfunctional girls/women who must either reform themselves or be medicated. This basic attitude that ‘boys/men should act/behave/think more like girls/women’ is why Andrew Tate gets traction. We’ve had a couple decades of this indoctrination and young men are tired of being told they are to blame for societal ills simply by existing. The consequences are being revealed; college enrollment among men dropping, men pulling back from social interactions at work, less dating, less family formation and less children.

The warmth of collectivism:

You have to feel it to appreciate it. But by the time you feel it, it’s too late. Turns out it’s not really warm and the only thing it collects is dust.

Plenty of blood. It collects a huge toll in that.

    “The warmth of collectivism:
You have to feel it to appreciate it”

Very much like high doses of radiation. And unfortunately, by the time you feel all warm, the dosage has past red into certain death.

A friend who did a PoliSci degree decades ago tells me that when he went to college, the examined all of the political theories and talked about the pros and cons of each. Now, he tells me that they poo-poo everything except socialism.

Collectivism is better suited to homogenous cultures like Japan, with everybody from same culture, history, language, religion, for the last 1000 years. Its impossible to make it work with diverse culture of immigrants like US.

If possible enroll your children in private school that isn’t controlled by public sector teacher union, and isn’t pushing ideological agenda.

Even better, make the sacrifices necessary and home school.

Leaving your children at the mercy of government schools is cruel and close to criminal. You WILL have to give up much for your kids’ safety and sanity; we used to agree that this was a good thing.

Yeah, my wife has told me all about the warmth of collectivism … it wasn’t very warm when the government was the ones who decided how much you got to heat your home in the winter. Then, of course, there was the joy of standing in line for hours to get basic groceries, god forbid you might want something other than the staples. Her dad, of course, got to go to work doing a job that he didn’t want, involving work he had no interest in. Or, as they joke, they pretended to pay, so he pretended to work. And forget pay raises or advancement. Literally no incentive to do anything other than the bare minimum.

This, of course, is the kind of stuff the communists will never share with the young people they’re trying to brainwash.

Collectivism is for the lazy and mediocre and below. Anybody with any desire and drive to excel will be squashed by it. This is why they hate the whole notion of American exceptionalism. Exceptional people move society forward and make themselves wealthy in the process,

Collectivists prefer the old ways of peasants and nobles. They view themselves as the nobles. Everyone else is a peasant owning nothing (eating bugs) and liking it tied permanently to their locale.

    Spot on! 100%.

Yes very true until the system itself becomes too great a barrier to above average performers. Then they Go Galt’. More and more this is being put in practice in one form, one extent or another. Aaron Clarey has a whole shelf of books more/less center ion this phenomenon. I’d recommend two titles to start off with; begin with Enjoy the Decline, then read Zero World Problems.

Collectivism is closely associated with Diversity (i.e. color judgment, class bigotry) dogma that reduces human life to blocs in class-disordered ideologies: racism, sexism, ageism, etc. #HateLovesAbortion
