Trump Pardons Giuliani, Meadows, Powell, 70+ More Involved in 2020 ‘Fake Electors’ Case

President Donald Trump granted sweeping pardons to 77 allies accused of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. The group included Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, Sidney Powell, John Eastman, Jeffrey Clark, Boris Epshteyn, and Jenna Ellis.

Although Trump signed the document on Friday, it wasn’t announced publicly until late Sunday night.

Ed Martin, who serves multiple roles in the Trump administration, including U.S. Pardon Attorney and Director of the Weaponization Working Group for the Department of Justice, reported the news on X.

A full list of the pardoned individuals can be viewed below.

Martin added the pardon announcement as a response to a post he’d written on May 26, shortly after he’d been appointed to his current position. The original message read, “No MAGA left behind.”

The pardon document states:

This proclamation ends a grave national injustice perpetrated upon the American people following the 2020 Presidential Election and continues the process of national reconciliation.Acting pursuant to the grant of authority in Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution of the United States, I. DONALD J. TRUMP, do hereby grant a full, complete, and unconditional pardon to all United States citizens for conduct relating to the advice, creation, organization, execution, submission, support, voting, activities, participation in, or advocacy for or of any slate or proposed slate of Presidential electors, whether or not recognized by any State or State official, in connection with the 2020 Presidential Election, as well for any conduct relating to their efforts to expose voting fraud and vulnerabilities in the 2020 Presidential Election.

The document indicates that the pardon “includes, but is not limited to” the lengthy list of names that follows.

Trump did not include himself in the pardons. The proclamation clearly states, “This pardon does not apply to the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.”

The pardon recipients were accused of coordinating alternate slates of electors in the battleground states “won” by former President Joe Biden, which included Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

The New York Post noted that the pardons are “mainly symbolic because none of the 77 individuals were charged on the federal level, however they could prevent future administrations from prosecuting the alleged co-conspirators.”

As expected, the pardons are already drawing fierce criticism from the Left. For example, in their coverage of the pardons, Politico wrote: “The pardons are the latest attempt by Trump to rewrite the history of his bid to seize a second term he didn’t win in 2020, an effort that culminated in the violent attack on the Capitol by a mob of his supporters who attempted to halt the transfer of power.”

The following social media post pretty much sums up the Left’s reaction:

Responses to an article published on WLOS ABC 13’s Facebook page are representative of what’s appearing across the board.

And so on.

The smarter readers, however, raised some very legitimate questions about the many irregularities that occurred during the 2020 election cycle. It should not be forgotten that roughly 1,000 election workers signed sworn affidavits claiming they had witnessed acts of fraud at numerous precincts.

Putting aside those allegations, which are impossible to prove, the Twitter Files and congressional investigations have revealed the extent to which Democratic Party leaders, the FBI, Big Tech, and the legacy media worked together to drag former President Joe Biden over the finish line in 2020. It was a full-court press by our institutions to interfere in the election.

The Democrats’ base will always believe the lies that are spewed by liberal politicians and the media. As I often say, a pickle can never be a cucumber again.

But fortunately, many independent voters who once believed the spin are waking up to the propaganda they’ve been fed. Too much of the truth has been exposed over the past five years for it to be otherwise.

So liberals can spare us their tired talking points. After a decade of Democratic deception and hoaxes, the public has grown weary.
