Trump Pardons Giuliani, Meadows, Powell, 70+ More Involved in 2020 ‘Fake Electors’ Case

President Donald Trump granted sweeping pardons to 77 allies accused of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. The group included Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, Sidney Powell, John Eastman, Jeffrey Clark, Boris Epshteyn, and Jenna Ellis.

Although Trump signed the document on Friday, it wasn’t announced publicly until late Sunday night.

Ed Martin, who serves multiple roles in the Trump administration, including U.S. Pardon Attorney and Director of the Weaponization Working Group for the Department of Justice, reported the news on X.

A full list of the pardoned individuals can be viewed below.

Martin added the pardon announcement as a response to a post he’d written on May 26, shortly after he’d been appointed to his current position. The original message read, “No MAGA left behind.”

The pardon document states:

This proclamation ends a grave national injustice perpetrated upon the American people following the 2020 Presidential Election and continues the process of national reconciliation.

Acting pursuant to the grant of authority in Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution of the United States, I. DONALD J. TRUMP, do hereby grant a full, complete, and unconditional pardon to all United States citizens for conduct relating to the advice, creation, organization, execution, submission, support, voting, activities, participation in, or advocacy for or of any slate or proposed slate of Presidential electors, whether or not recognized by any State or State official, in connection with the 2020 Presidential Election, as well for any conduct relating to their efforts to expose voting fraud and vulnerabilities in the 2020 Presidential Election.

The document indicates that the pardon “includes, but is not limited to” the lengthy list of names that follows.

Trump did not include himself in the pardons. The proclamation clearly states, “This pardon does not apply to the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.”

The pardon recipients were accused of coordinating alternate slates of electors in the battleground states “won” by former President Joe Biden, which included Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

The New York Post noted that the pardons are “mainly symbolic because none of the 77 individuals were charged on the federal level, however they could prevent future administrations from prosecuting the alleged co-conspirators.”

As expected, the pardons are already drawing fierce criticism from the Left. For example, in their coverage of the pardons, Politico wrote: “The pardons are the latest attempt by Trump to rewrite the history of his bid to seize a second term he didn’t win in 2020, an effort that culminated in the violent attack on the Capitol by a mob of his supporters who attempted to halt the transfer of power.”

The following social media post pretty much sums up the Left’s reaction:

Responses to an article published on WLOS ABC 13’s Facebook page are representative of what’s appearing across the board.

  • So he is admitting it was an insurrection…..
  • And just like that, MAGA was suddenly OK with preemptive pardons.
  • Criminal pardons criminals.
  • He’s getting his gang together for the 2026 election.

And so on.

The smarter readers, however, raised some very legitimate questions about the many irregularities that occurred during the 2020 election cycle. It should not be forgotten that roughly 1,000 election workers signed sworn affidavits claiming they had witnessed acts of fraud at numerous precincts.

Putting aside those allegations, which are impossible to prove, the Twitter Files and congressional investigations have revealed the extent to which Democratic Party leaders, the FBI, Big Tech, and the legacy media worked together to drag former President Joe Biden over the finish line in 2020. It was a full-court press by our institutions to interfere in the election.

The Democrats’ base will always believe the lies that are spewed by liberal politicians and the media. As I often say, a pickle can never be a cucumber again.

But fortunately, many independent voters who once believed the spin are waking up to the propaganda they’ve been fed. Too much of the truth has been exposed over the past five years for it to be otherwise.

So liberals can spare us their tired talking points. After a decade of Democratic deception and hoaxes, the public has grown weary.

Fake electors are part of the established procedure, as in Season 5 Episodes 1-2 of VEEP, over an election where everything that can go wrong does go wrong.

It’s not at all clear as to where the list is. Please clarify.

You’re supposed to click on the image included in one of the many X embeds included in the post and read an image of the actual document listing all those that were pardoned on some random persons X account because evidently Ms. Stauffer the author of the post, couldn’t be half-a**ed enough to actually just list those pardoned for those of us who don’t wish to participate in the circle-jerk X social platform and have all cookies blocked from that particular domain and therefore don’t see the X embedded posts at all. But such is life.

“As expected, the pardons are already drawing fierce criticism from the Left.”

Trump has previously received fierce criticism from the left for drinking Diet Coke, eating two scoops of ice cream, and surviving an assassination attempt.

The left can take its fierce criticism and shove it somewhere they’d probably enjoy.

Yeah, I really never understood the two scoops thing. Trying as hard as I could to put myself in their heads and adopt all their premises I still couldn’t figure out what on earth they were objecting to. It’s his ice cream, he’s paying for it, if he wants two scoops why shouldn’t he have two scoops?

There’s even some puzzling evidence that ice cream is actually good for you!

at least he used

auto-hand

The key words are “he used”. No one would have objected to Biden using the autopen, if we were convinced that he was the one using it, or rather ordering it to be used. The problem is that it’s likely (but probably impossible to actually prove) that it was used without his conscious authorization.

      agree

reportedly, fjb was told that the use of the auto pen was in keeping in line with saving the planet from running out of ink

Milhouse, I think there is a burden of proof here but it isn’t on us. I think those asserting the validity of an autopenned document have the burden to prove Sleepy Joe actually authorized it prior to the autopenning. There are no presumptions available here.

Milhouse in reply to Sultan. | November 11, 2025 at 8:04 pm

Nope. There’s a strong presumption that a document issued by the government is valid. You have to prove it isn’t, and in this case that’s almost impossible.

Good on Trump, and good on his mention of “national reconciliation.”

January 6 was a setup and influence operation, to shut down Congress and thereby prevent the scheduled challenges to certification of the election. It was also used as intimidation and a talking point against Trump and his supporters.

The perpetrators of this soft coup must be brought to justice before any just reconciliation can occur. The mess can’t just be swept under the rug.

“As expected, the pardons are already drawing fierce criticism from the Left…”

It’s almost as if Trump is behaving like a president the left attempted to assassinate – twice – last year.

“And just like that, MAGA was suddenly OK with preemptive pardons.”
If Joe gets to do it, we all get to do it.
Use Democrat rules against Democrats. Full approval.

We actually have not seen any preemptive pardons (yet). The pardons are all for actions people took during a particular time in the past. The difference is the Biden pardons were for *criminal* actions taken by his son and the J6 committee Dems (extortion, money laundering, coke for the first, abuse of power and destruction of evidence on the second), and the Trump pardons here are for actions that are *not* criminal, but certain twisted State and Federal prosecutors are currently or may in the future try to warp into criminal charges.

Hunter Biden has committed a number of crimes since his daddy left office and is interested in getting another pardon. He says he’s willing to donate to the Trump Ball Room.

Just to be a troll, Trump should pick up one of the Hunter paintings (which are now on sale at 90% off) and have it hung in the ballroom after it is completed. “We would like to thank the previous administration for their contribution to this magnificent building, by hanging this multi-million dollar painting we acquired right here.”

Remember that “F” vote graph for Wisconsin that either “proved” that the election was stolen or “raised questions”? Anyone claiming that is either a grifter or the one who wanted to be grifted. That nonsense was debunked on election night.

There was zero evidence that stood up to even a modicum of scrutiny that any state was “stolen”. Everyone involved in that slew of grifting nonsense deserve every punishment due them under the law.

Many years ago (8, 10?), I linked to your blog once or twice. You’ve changed.

The very fact that they shut down counting when they were still ballots left is a breach of Wisconsin election law. The law requires them to start counting balance at the close of home and not stop until there are no more ballots left to count. That alone makes it illegitimate

“There was zero evidence…” Bullspit. None so blind as cannot see.

“…even a modicum of scrutiny…” Again, bullspit. You apparently don’t recall that due to crap like “standing” and “laches,” we never got to have any of the available evidence properly adjudicated.

“Everyone involved in that slew of grifting nonsense deserve every punishment due them under the law.”
Cool. Now do Joe, Jill and Hunter BIden, and all the criminals who foisted Crossfire Hurricane, Arctic Frost, and “Russian collusion” on us.
    Idiot.

I had a friend caught up in this fiasco. She literally lost the family farm – and they were organic farmers. Civil cases apparently still outstanding. Hopefully this will help trash those.

Think about the millions these people lost fighting these illegal (?) accusations.

Giuliani had to pay Ruby Freeman $134,000,000 for showing the video of her counting the same ballot multiple times

I thought he wouldn’t done this on day one

Rudy has suffered wayyy too much

Milhouse in reply to gonzotx. | November 10, 2025 at 7:37 pm

What Rudy suffered was mostly his own fault. He did defame those two women, refused even to apologize, and then he repeatedly defied the court’s valid discovery orders.

As I recall (vaguely, at best) the court discovery orders were *wildly* extravagant, wandering into things that could not possibly be related to the case at hand, extending for years into the past, and his appeal was rejected by a court just as biased against him. To be clear, my opinion (protected by the 1A) of the two women is much the same, and I am stating that in a state which will look at any suit in a much fairer fashion.

In short, a fair court would have awarded the women a dollar, and told Rudy to stop saying things about them.

Good, nothing but a bunch of politically motivated bogus garbage anyhow

continues the process of national reconciliation

*Snigger* Nobody, including Trump, believes these pardons will achieve that.

God, the “alternative” elector idea was beyond retarded. Everybody with any sense predicted at the time it would end with the actors in major legal trouble.

When I think of who the most repugnant human beings on this planet are, Rudolph Giuliani always lands at or near the top of the list. This, after all, is a man who shaves while literally eating lunch (look it up). His ex, Judith Nathan, can’t shower enough times to get this man’s STANK off her. Poor woman. (“It. Was. Not. Worth it. [angrily scrubbing…]”) Here is a man who looks… like he smells. His very presence causes other humans to throw up in their mouths a little. And sometimes, a lot. What a putrid and disgusting shit-pile of a man.
