Report: DOJ Probing Handling of Schiff, James Mortgage Investigation

Report: DOJ Probing Handling of Schiff, James Mortgage Investigation

Do it right or don’t do it at all.

*sigh*

According to numerous outlets, the DOJ launched a probe into the mortgage fraud investigations concerning Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

From ABC News:

Sources said the DOJ and FBI are scrutinizing whether U.S. Pardon Attorney Ed Martin and Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte enlisted individuals outside the Department of Justice to probe allegations of mortgage fraud amid ongoing investigations of Sen. Adam Schiff and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

At least one witness in the Schiff investigation has received a grand jury subpoena to hand over any correspondence with Martin’s associates as well as with Pulte himself, sources told ABC News.

In what would be an extraordinary breach of DOJ protocol, Martin is also believed to have shared sensitive grand jury information about the James case with at least one unauthorized individual as well as worked with another person from outside the federal government to examine potential evidence in the Schiff and James probes, sources familiar with the matter said.

The Hill reviewed a subpoena for Christine Bish, a Republican candidate for Congress in California, who “claimed to have whistleblower information about Schiff’s mortgage, was called to appear before the grand jury Thursday.”

However, it seemed the investigators wanted to know who Bish spoke to about the mortgage fraud claims.

The subpoena asked Bish if “she dealt with anyone ‘claiming to be working for or at the direction’ of the Justice Department, Martin or Pulte.”

Federal Reserve Gov. Lisa Cook and Rep. Eric Swawell (D-CA) also face mortgage fraud accusations.

All four people have denied any wrongdoing.

So a private citizen tells a US Attorney that someone has potentially committed mortgage fraud. The US Attorney then goes out side the office to verify the claim in order to prevent the deep state from interfering with the probe. Have I gotten this scenario right so far? We control the Senate and we can’t even get President Trump’s appointees confirmed. Our country is broken. Maybe permanently. Frankly both parties are in on it. And a high percentage of Congressmen and Senators get rich off of insider trading. Please tell me the difference between the end of the Roman Empire and the United States of America’s political decline.

If I’m squinting at the tea leaves correctly, the main questions on the James mortgages involve *public* documents that certain individuals unassociated with the case searched for and gathered into a neat pile. Heck, I’ve been reading about them on Twitter. James left giant muddy footprints through the legal landscape, and she’s easy to track.

I suspect that the “sources” are Resistance moles. Christine Bish is a realtor with access to public real estate records that are filed with county clerks. She has investigated the transactions of various members of Congress for several years. The Biden DOJ was not interested in her findings. This story is an attempt to derail a legitimate investigation that was prompted by a private citizen bringing information to the authorities, not the DOJ recruiting an outside investigator.

At this point in the late stage republic death spiral, a shorter list might be who in congress has not committed mortgage fraud, or engaged in insider stock trades?

But sure, let’s investigate the investigators for stepping on a rake.

The deep sewer will always protect their own, and demonize outsiders who refuse to polish turds. It’s all so tiresome.

The phrase, “Sources said” in the ABC article tell you clearly that this is news that was planted for effect. It might be partly true but cannot possibly be really true.
