We already know Planned Parenthood in Wisconsin will no longer offer abortions.
Now Planned Parenthood no longer exists in Louisiana.
Planned Parenthood doesn’t have clinics in four states: Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, and Wyoming.
I do not want to hear anyone complaining because pregnancy health centers exist across the country. I beg all of you to donate money and baby & maternity items to your local pregnancy centers.
I must stress a vital point: Louisiana Planned Parenthood clinics did not ever offer abortions in their 40 years of existence.
Not that it matters. Planned Parenthood thrives on the murder of unborn babies. The fewer the better, even if the clinic never performed abortions.
“While this chapter closes, community leaders and stakeholders continue to explore possible pathways to carry forward the mission of advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights in Louisiana,” Melaney Linton, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, told CBS News. “Though that future will not be possible through PPGC, the need remains urgent, and this fight is not over.”
The abortion mill has felt pain from the Big Beautiful Bill, which deprives Planned Parenthood of Medicaid funding if it performs abortions.
The organization has sued President Donald Trump’s administration, claiming “it knows Congress and Trump specifically went after it because the provision applies to nonprofit organizations that made $800,000 or more from Medicaid payments in 2023.”
According to LifeNews, “Planned Parenthood performed over 400,000 abortions in fiscal year 2023-24 and received more than $700 million in government reimbursements and grants, according to its latest annual report.”
As of August 13, Planned Parenthood has closed or announced the closure of 41 clinics.
