How We Got Mamdani: The Left “understood that if they can get control of the educational system, they can change the country”

How NYC is on the verge of electing a socialist jihadist: “The left was very savvy and very strategic. They identified the weakness in our society and the weakness in our society is the educational system.”

I appeared recently on the Aubrey Shines show on the Real America’s Voice network, where I have appeared before.

Here are a couple of key clips Aubrey shared:

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE. Much more.

We covered the situation in the Middle East and the ‘ceasefire’ deal, the possibility NYC will elect a socialist, immigration policy, and the rise of antisemitism particularly on the right.

Key Excerpts

(transcript autogenerated may contain transcription errors, lightly edited for transcript clarity)

Shines (06:10):

And one of the things, William, I’m really concerned about is even here in our own country, I took a little heat for saying this. … Why would we allow individuals to come into our country whose objective is Sharia law that is antithetical to the constitutional republic that we have in this nation? Why are we not able to talk like this in a civil way and then at the same time prohibit individuals that would be so divisive that they’ll tear this nation apart if we don’t do something? Am I going too far, William, for making that assertion?

WAJ (07:18):

No. And we have not only almost 1400 years of history, we have current events. Look at what has happened in London. Look at what has happened in Paris. We don’t want to become London and Paris. We want to continue to be America.

And it’s a tension that we have because we do have a constitution and everybody has individual rights. On the other hand, the Constitution is not a suicide pact, and we’re entitled to maintain a republic that upholds that constitution. And so by allowing people in who are not committed to that, by allowing people in who do not view our constitution as valid, by allowing people in who come for the very purpose of subverting our society, we are committing suicide.

There’s a term, I don’t know if you know of Gad Saad’s term, suicidal empathy. And that’s really what we’re going through.

So we are entitled to protect our country. We are entitled to preserve our republic, and we are entitled to have immigration policies that support those goals.

And calling us names and making all sorts of accusations may be effective publicly, but it shouldn’t deter us. We are entitled to preserve our constitutional republic against enemies, domestic and foreign, and the foreign ones we should keep out of the country.

Shines (08:44):

…. Do you think our institutions are also guilty? I’m talking about institutions of higher learning, our high schools as well, even local colleges, for helping create an environment that could even elect a socialist communist that looks to be on the road to victory right there in New York City. Again, am I going too far, sir, when I say that I?

WAJ (09:29):

No, I think the left was very savvy and very strategic. They identified the weakness in our society and the weakness in our society is the educational system. And they understood that if they can get control of the educational system, they can change the country.

And some of them were honest about that. Some of them were honest about that,  and so what you see is over the last 30 to 40 years, the capture of education, first higher ed, and now moving into K through 12 by the left. And that’s just a reality. We’ve been arguing about that and documenting it at my websites for almost 20 years now, 18 years. And that is the reality, and we have to address that.

And that is mostly a left wing phenomenon. The right does not control the cultural institutions. The right does not control  higher education. The right does not control the teacher’s unions who are very political. These are all left doing phenomenon….

Shines (11:04):

So there’s no doubt that these developments between Israel and Hamas have drawn out some of the most elevated cases of anti-Semitic sentiments aimed at our Jewish friends. Besides the obvious, of course, examples such as the pro-Israel in pro-Palestinian demonstrations, it seems that just existing as a Jew in America leaves one open to attack just for their heritage…. William, I hate to target a individual when I say this, but I’m only going to use them to personify, hopefully a bigger picture here. I’ve always had a lot of respect for one of these individuals. I won’t say which one, but when I hear some of the anti-Semitic views that are coming from people like Tucker Carlson and other individuals like Candace Owens, it seems that, I don’t know, they’re on some sort of tirade to diminish the Jewish success….

Again, am I my friend reading too much into this?

WAJ (13:22):

This is a very serious issue, which is there has developed a real Israel Derangement Syndrome that people are exploiting. It’s really just a mask in my mind for Jew hatred. Conspiracy theories about control of the world and control of the United States by Jews mask themselves by saying, oh, it’s AIPAC American Israel Public Affairs Committee. That’s the new hot button issue.

AIPAC are Americans. Americans have a constitutional right to lobby their government. It’s right in the First Amendment, to seek redress of grievances from the government. So why is it that Americans, not Israelis, Americans voicing their support for Israel, as is their constitutional right, all of a sudden it’s become so demonized. All of a sudden representatives in the House are tweeting about it nonstop, particularly Marjorie Taylor Greene, former house member Matt Getz, nonstop AIPAC control, AIPAC control, AIPAC control.

You see it on Tucker Carlson. You see it in various influencers.

What is going on here? Why have they so demonized it when we know that the people who spend the most money in our country are from Qatar and from foreign areas?

Why is it that you see all over social media “I’m not gonna die for Israel” when Israel has never asked us to die for it?

You know, who does ask us for to die for it? South Korea, we have 38,000 troops as a trip wire on the border with North Korea. South Korea is in fact asking Americans to die for it. But you don’t hear Tucker Carlson complaining about that.

You don’t hear these influencers claiming, “I’m not going die for South Korea.” We just signed a deal. President Trump just issued an executive order, which I think was a mistake, but he did it, pledging American defense of Qatar.  Can you imagine if that happened with Israel, the explosion.

But none of these people say that. Nobody’s saying, “I’m not gonna die for Qatar.” So when they don’t apply their standards to other countries, particularly to Muslim countries, what is going on here? And and I think unfortunately, the oldest hate is coming out.

Now, some people say they’re on the payroll, they’re receiving money from Arab governments. I don’t know if that’s true or not. I think for most of them, they’re just feel freed to let their inner demons come out. And it’s a real problem.

And frankly, it’s going hand the presidency to a Democrat because what they’re doing, the term, often referred to as the woke right, is they are destroying the unity on the Republican side.

If you wanted a plan to reinstall the Democrats in power, what would you do differently than the Woke Right is doing?

They are taking a unified MAGA base, and they are dividing it based on religious lines. They are not only uniquely singling out Israel and unfairly, they are trying to turn Christians against Jews. That’s a constant theme in their reporting and in their promotion.

Tucker Carlson’s had multiple people on to talk about how badly the Jews in Israel treat Christians when in fact, the Christian population is growing in Israel, unlike the neighboring countries. And the depopulation of Christians in the Middle East is taking place in Muslim countries, not in Israel. So why are you focusing on Israel?

There is a demonic force on a portion of the right, call it the Woke Right, which is trying to destroy Donald Trump’s agenda, trying to destroy the MAGA movement. And they’re wrapping themselves in what? Marjorie Taylor Green calls America only. Not even America first anymore. America only….

This is completely destructive, and it has nothing to do about Israel. Somebody is trying to tear apart the MAGA movement. They’re using Jew hatred as the basis for it, and we all better wake up to it because we’re all going to pay the price.

The rot is from the university on down. Thankfully, the mindset of having to have a college education is waning, saving some. But the rest, including education majors, will continue to be indoctrinated.

You are SO right! Many conservatives are celebrating the election of Trump and others who value Western civilization, but this recent victory is apt soon to be countered by the growing number of young voters who have been indoctrinated by public schools in blue states and by most of our highly selective colleges.

As unpleasant as these young female college liberals are now, just wait until they are 65 and childless.

It’s all gone too far to be reformed.

Nah; New York City has been the epicenter of progressive politics for a long time, going back to the Roosevelt’s.

La Guardia wasn’t technically a socialist, but he was certainly very progressive and tied in with the worker parties. By the way he was a Republican, back when progressives were Republicans.

The fact is, workers feel exploited this is their way of acting out.

Jamie Dimon, drinking a guinness, is telling his staff come in to his brand new 3 billion dollar monument to himself. Jamie Dimon has a helicopter and a driver, the rest of us get 90 minutes of masturbating Mike in the front row the subway.

The fact that a bunch of billionaires funded Cuomo just sealed the deal for Mandami.

I am personally unconvinced small government Republicans can win the mayorship of large cities. I highly doubt one can take a hands off approach to running a very large city.

And I don’t blame the teachers union for the lack of solutions to urban planning, I blame the economics profession which has been captured by the left or the right.

The vile and evil leftists/communists/”progressives”/”liberals”/Dhimmi-crats in Europe and in the U.S. correctly identified, decades ago, that a “long march through the institutions” would allow them to indoctrinate billions of impressionable and malleable students and youth with their toxic and destructive ideologies.

The political elevation of and empowerment of, transparently lazy, stupid, entitled, private sector-avoiding, narcissistic, subversive, self-serving hustler-demagogues, such as Occasional-Cortex, Ilhan Omar, Keith Ellison, Mamdani, Comrade Sanders, Obama, Fauxcahontas, etc. are the rotten fruits of this undeniably successful and pernicious strategy.

Now don’t hold back! Tell us how you really feel!!😝
And don’t leave out those despicable demagogues of the Woke Right who want to wreck everything we’ve gained to revenge their rage about feeling excluded.

This also extends to immigration both lawful and illegal. In many ways the schools act to ‘assimilate’ the next generation to our Nation’s norms, civic duties, standards of public behavior and general cultural expectations.

Well past time to demand assimilation. Begin with adoption of English as the language of gov’t. Either learn to speak it or be crap out of luck when LEO is ordering ‘hands where I can see them’. Same for social services, sucks to be you if you can’t speak English when called up to apply for benefits. No hablo? Tough cookies.

“The left was very savvy and very strategic. They identified the weakness in our society and the weakness in our society is the educational system.”

I joined the Navy in 1980 and worked as a Russian linguist in the Naval Security Group. I spent most of the 1980s deployed chasing Soviets all over the Pacific and Indian Oceans. I sincerely thought that I was doing my part to rid the world of communism, one of the few things in this world that I truly hate.

Little did I know that these despicable leftists were already infecting our youth with the communist drivel in our schools. When I finally learned about this, I was beyond angry and thought that all the sacrifices I made for nothing.

My hope now that our fight against this infection will turn the tide. Still 50/50 chance we will to my mind.

Thanks for your service. I don’t think your sacrifices were for nothing. I believe that the veteran core is what is going to make the difference in our fight. They have the clarity of purpose that the “influencer” group lacks.

I remember during the 1993 failed voucher campaign in Calif, a high school teacher then saying he basically teaches “socialism light”. Education rot has been growing since at least the days of Dewey.

The Democrat Leftists/communists are staging their power play with Mamdani as the frontrunner, soon to be in charge of a major city. The trickle down effect then occurs as more major cities (already happening in LA, Chicago) fall under the control of the so-called Social Democrats (read: communists) who support expanded state power over the federal government, general disregard for rule of law, and “woke” institutions of higher ed to name a few of their strategies to take the country into widespread chaos. A revolution in other words is underway.

yup

b/c children run most households and the wives run most men===socialism

“the weakness in our society is the educational system”

“Weakness” in the sense that it was designed to provide an easy opportunity for totalitarian indoctrination by whomever was able to take control of it.

Efforts to “reform” it are simply unethical attempts from our side to take control of this evil, un-American system.

So why do conservative politicians, pastors, and bloggers seem to be unable to strongly urge parents to remove their children from this evil system?

Jared in reply to gibbie. | October 24, 2025 at 9:40 pm

The Simple answer….. Folks of avg intelligence who participate and complete their way through this evil system almost always earn a lot more money than do the folks of avg intelligence who don’t go to college. American parents ain’t gonna steer their kids away from money, generally speaking, cause Americans care more about money than they care about even God himself, much less the ideology of capitalism instead of communism. Folks love money, and there ain’t enough time in any one lifetime to waste any of it fighting against communism, gotta hurry up and accumulate wealth, plain and simple

henrybowman in reply to gibbie. | October 29, 2025 at 8:02 pm

Once any system NOT the natural domain of government (i.e., indispensably requiring management by a legitimate initiator of force) is nationalized by government, all bets on whether it will be operated for the exclusive benefit of the people are off.

The real burn is that we KNEW about the Gramsci doctrine of plans to make a long march through our institutions 60 years ago, and did nothing effective about them. Nobody INDEPENDENT of the conspirators did the necessary maintenance inspections of our institutions to ensure that the moral corrosion wasn’t winning.

“Demonize capitalism today get socialism tomorrow”

With us trying to get back the school system shouldn’t we be throwing out the extremists like Nick Fuentes, Tucker Carlson, or Candace Owens among many others?

Get any of those and the school system is in no way improved.

It really is past time to decide if Republicans stand for things the Republican party spent the last half century fighting for or if all that matters is getting a couple of internet memes.
