Trump Posts Video With Jeffries in a Sombrero, Schumer Advocating for Illegals

“And, if we give all these illegal aliens free health care, we might be able to get ’em on our side so they can vote for us.”

Well aware that Democrats would be blamed for the looming government shutdown in March, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer voted for the continuing resolution to keep the government open. While it was a wise choice, he faced fierce backlash from Democrats who accused him of caving to President Donald Trump.

Six weeks later, his favorability among Democrats had plunged to record lows, fueling speculation that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) might mount a primary challenge.

Determined not to repeat that episode, Schumer now refuses to support the current clean CR, unless Republicans agree to add roughly $1.5 trillion in new spending to “boost Obamacare subsidies and Medicaid funding.”

Republicans are typically blamed for government shutdowns. But because Schumer is so clearly putting his personal interests and his party’s political agenda ahead of what’s best for the American people, this time appears to be different.

On Monday night, Trump took to X to troll Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries in the most effective way possible: through humor. He posted a spoof video of Jefferies wearing a Mexican sombrero as Schumer spoke candidly about the Democrats’ current predicament.

Look, guys, there’s no way to sugarcoat it. Nobody likes Democrats anymore. We have no voters left because of all of our woke trans bullsh**. Not even black people want to vote for us anymore. Even Latinos hate us. So we need new voters.

And, if we give all these illegal aliens free health care, we might be able to get ’em on our side so they can vote for us. They can’t even speak English, so they won’t realize we’re just a bunch of woke pieces of sh**, you know. At least for a while, until they learn English and they realize they hate us too.

A community note explained why additional context for this post was not necessary. It read, “This is clearly satire and a joke. Chuck Schumer is not this factual and articulate in real life.”

Schumer responded to Trump’s provocation in a post which read: “If you think your shutdown is a joke, it just proves what we all know: You can’t negotiate. You can only throw tantrums.”

In his reply, Jefferies dared Trump to say it to his face. “The next time you have something to say to me, don’t cop out through a racist and fake AI video. When I’m back in the Oval Office, say it to my face.”

Somehow, I don’t think Trump would have any trouble with that request.

Trump’s video came after a White House meeting on Monday with Senate and House leaders failed to sway Schumer or Jeffries. Following the meeting, Vice President J.D. Vance told reporters, “You don’t put a gun to the American people’s head and say, unless you do exactly what Senate and House Democrats want you to do, we’re going to shut down your government.”

His full remarks can be viewed below.

In addition to reversing cuts to Medicaid, the Wall Street Journal reported the Democrats are demanding the extension of “enhanced Affordable Care Act tax credits, first passed in 2021 by Democrats during the Covid-19 pandemic,” that are set to expire at the end of the year. According to the Journal, “fueled by the subsidies, the number of people enrolled in Affordable Care Act coverage has more than doubled since 2021, to around 24 million this year.”

It’s now September 2025, and the pandemic is long over. It’s past time to return to pre-COVID spending levels.

In remarks to reporters, House Speaker Mike Johnson did not mince words. What’s actually driving Schumer is his fear of facing AOC in a primary.

“Ask Chuck Schumer what his real motivation is,” Johnson said. “But, what it’s really about is running from AOC and the socialist base of his party, who are going to challenge him in his next election. They said he didn’t fight Trump when he did the right thing in March — and did a temporary funding measure. And now he’s got to fight. And it’s shameful. It really is.”

Great way to start my day and Temu Obama thinks he sounds tough, he doesn’t. If he threatened to send Big Mike over that would be a different story

Notice how he prefaced it with “next time I’m in the Oval Office?”

Punk, the only time you’re in the Oval Office is when you’re wearing Monica Lewinski’s blue dress and kneepads. Now STFU and get back to suckin’ bi*ch.

No back pay for fed workers not working. Change the dynamics.

Question for Jeffries: How does illegal immigration help black Americans?

If you’re going to go through all that effort to make the video, at least you should have put a turban on Schumer.

“If you think your shutdown is a joke, it just proves what we all know: You can’t negotiate. You can only throw tantrums.”

…he says, to the president who “ended seven wars” and made the unelected queen of the EU his b*h.

“J.D. Vance told reporters, “You don’t put a gun to the American people’s head and say, unless you do exactly what Senate and House Democrats want you to do, we’re going to shut down your government.”

This is glorious. Because this is exactly what the Democrats did to the Republicans at least three times. Now it’s your turn to choke on Democrat rules, Democrats!

My rep, Paul Gosar:

In November 2021, one of my interns created a simple video, a cartoon, called an anime. That little cartoon was shared on social media. The cartoon was not threatening to anyone or anything. It did depict me as a superhero with a cape and a sword battling the leftists. Quite frankly, it was silly and unimportant, but the left, and the leftist media, falsely claimed it was a violent threat to Biden and others [particularly AOC, who ostensively regards bunny-rabbits as lethal threats]. Apparently, they never watched Rick and Morty, or Bugs Bunny. Does anyone think Wiley Coyote was an actual threat, in the real world, to rabbits? Or in the coyote’s case, it was Bugs Bunny that usually had a rock or anvil drop on him. But only in cartoon land. In any event, the leftists censured me.

The anime was an introduction to some Japanese superhero cartoon, with the faces of heroes, monsters, and villains photoshopped in to be Gosar, Biden, AOC, and some others. It was such a frantic piece and scenes flew by in such a blink that I could barely follow what went on.

Well, MSM pilloried Gosar for a week for his “violent threats,” and the House formally censured him.

What Trump did here is ten times that, and they can’t do squat about it.

I am so not tired of winning.

Jeffries responded ..poorly.

Trump is too much. That was one of the funniest tweets in all of human history. I could watch that 1000 times and laugh every time.

And yet, as brilliant as that tweet is … the dems’ butthurt response makes it all that much funnier! And they won’t stop. Every time I see some dem making a remark about this I bust out laughing.

It’s too much, already. This is entering the dangerous “World’s Funniest Joke” territory.

I could watch that 1000 times and laugh every time.
Along with me and millions of others.

I can see why Jeffries and Schumer are so upset at the video. No one likes being laughed at. Being laughed at is especially painful for the self-righteous. It is no accident that long ago I labeled “liberal” Democrats as “smug, sneering, condescending, and self-righteous.” Not every Democrat is self-righteous, but enough of them are that it almost seems that self-righteousness is a requirement for enrolling as a member of the Democratic Party.

Keep laughing at the Democrats. They HATE being laughed at.

I know that I, for one, would miss the vibrancy and piquancy that Democrats bring to life in America.

I wonder how many Federal workers Trump can fire during the shut down? That’s the real silver lining to the failure of Congress to do its job and pass a budget

“Recess activity rules” are double fun for government executives.
    They cut both ways, though.
Here in AZ, our proggy governor had her nomination for the Board of Regents rejected by the Senate, so she waited until the legislature went out of session and appointed Jimmy McCain. That’s right — John’s boy. Now he gets to serve until at least late-January or so, until the Senate reconvenes and can approve, reject, or pocket-veto him.

I saw a post from Russ Vought that he’s targeting 300,000 federal jobs to permanently eliminate.

Trump is doubling down with what I would classify as his most aggressive trolling ever, and it’s delicious.

Jeffries decries “disgusting racist memes” while Trump outfits him in another sombrero and then plays mariachi behind him.

Vance promises to Jeffries that if Democrats vote for the bill and reopen the government, “the sombrero memes will stop.” This is a not-so-subtle revenge for Schumer’s attempt to blackmail the Republicans two months ago.

Hakeem Jeffries supports free medical for illegal aliens at the expense of working american taxpayers, who are getting the wages under cut by illegal aliens?

Dem policies are anti-american, no other way to say it.
