Trump: Military Conducted Second Strike on ‘Narcoterrorists’ From Venezuela

President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. military conducted a second kinetic strike on a boat from Venezuela containing drugs.

Trump wrote on Truth Social:

This morning, on my Orders, U.S. Military Forces conducted a SECOND Kinetic Strike against positively identified, extraordinarily violent drug trafficking cartels and narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility. The Strike occurred while these confirmed narcoterrorists from Venezuela were in International Waters transporting illegal narcotics (A DEADLY WEAPON POISONING AMERICANS!) headed to the U.S. These extremely violent drug trafficking cartels POSE A THREAT to U.S. National Security, Foreign Policy, and vital U.S. Interests. The Strike resulted in 3 male terrorists killed in action. No U.S. Forces were harmed in this Strike. BE WARNED — IF YOU ARE TRANSPORTING DRUGS THAT CAN KILL AMERICANS, WE ARE HUNTING YOU! The illicit activities by these cartels have wrought DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES ON AMERICAN COMMUNITIES FOR DECADES, killing millions of American Citizens. NO LONGER. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!

Tensions have heightened between America and Venezuela after the U.S. deployed three Aegis guided-missile destroyers off the waters of Venezuela to support its counter-narcotics operation on August 21.

Venezuela countered with drones and warships to patrol along its Caribbean coast on September 1.

The military took a huge step forward on September 2 when it struck a suspected drug ship from Venezuela, killing 11 people.

On September 4, Venezuela answered back by buzzing two military aircraft near a U.S. Navy ship in international waters.

On September 5, the Department of War warned Venezuela not to interfere with the administration’s counter-narcotics and counter-terrorism operations.

That same day, the Trump administration began sending ten F-35 fighter jets to Puerto Rico.
