On May 22, 2025, Elias Rodriguez murdered to Israeli Embassy staffers, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, who were attending a DC Jewish Museum event.

The murders were carried out execution style, with Rodriguez finishing off the victims as they were on the ground and attempting to crawl away, FBI: “Pro-Palestinian” DC Shooter Continued Firing Into Victims As They Were On Ground. From the Affidavit in support of criminal charges (emphasis added):

12. RODRIGUEZ spontaneously stated on scene to MPD, “I did it for Palestine, I did it for Gaza, I am unarmed.” RODRIGUEZ was holding a red scarf identified by one witness as a “Kaffiyeh.” As MPD officers were escorting RODRIQUEZ from the Museum, he shouted “Free Palestine.”

15. On scene, MPD officers were able to review surveillance video from immediately before and during the shooting that captured the exterior of the Museum. In summary, the video shows a slim build person, wearing a blue jacket with a hood, a large dark-colored backpack, blue pants, and light-colored shoes, consistent with the clothing worn by RODRIGUEZ, walking across F Street, Northwest, in the direction of the Museum, and where the decedents were standing, preparing to enter the crosswalk. Once RODRIGUEZ walked past the decedents and two witnesses, he turned to face their backs and brandished a firearm from the area of his waistband. RODRIGUEZ is captured on the video extending both his arms in the direction of the decedents and firing several times, as indicated by the muzzle flashes. Once the decedents fell to the ground, RODRIGUEZ is captured on the video advancing closer to the decedents, leaning over with them with his arm extended, and firing several more times. As Decedent-1 attempted to crawl away from RODRIGUEZ, he followed behind her and fired again. After a brief moment, RODRIGUEZ appeared to reload his firearm. At the same time, Decedent-1 sat up. Once he reloaded, RODRIGUEZ fired several times at Decedent-1. RODRIGUEZ is then captured jogging back in the direction of 3rd Street, NW, and southbound in the direction of where the entrance to the Museum is located.

BREAKING: Court documents have revealed that the only reason Elias Rodriguez did not murder more people is because his gun got jammed.

A court filing on September 19, 2025, reveals that Rodriguez recorded his execution murders on a body cam he was wearing.

The information was revealed in the government’s opposition to Rodriguez’s motion for the court to order a schedule upon which the government had to decide whether to seek the death penalty. From the government’s filing (emphasis added):

On June 6, the Government produced pre-indictment discovery consisting of two critical
video recordings. The first captures the moment Rodriguez was taken into custody inside the CJM,
as recorded by the body-worn camera (BWC) of the responding MPD officer. The second was a
file recovered from a KaySunLink BWC worn by Rodriguez himself, capturing both video and
audio, depicting the murders from a first-person perspective.2

[fn] 2 Amazon records confirm that on May 18, 2025, Rodriguez purchased the KaySunLink BWC
while still in Chicago and arranged for its delivery to his hotel in D.C. This transaction, executed
days before the offense, underscores that he premeditated carrying out an act of violence in D.C.
at least days in advance, and prior to his travel from Chicago.

It’s not really surprising Rodriquez videotaped his murderous spree. That’s Palestinian terrorist style (and ISIS and other Islamic groups) – the video is used both for self-promotion and recruitment, and also to further terrorize victims’ families and society.

The death penalty is too good for him. But I guess it’s better than us having to house, feed, and provide him with medical care for the next 50 years.
