Heartbreaking Flashback: Erica Kirk’s First Time on Charlie’s Show

“Hey, everybody, welcome to this episode of The Charlie Kirk Show. Joining me is the most special guest, my fiancée, Erica.”

A devastatingly sad video is circulating across social media tonight: Erica’s very first appearance on The Charlie Kirk Show after she and Charlie announced their engagement.

Though recorded a while back, the resurfaced clip has taken on new meaning after Charlie Kirk was murdered just last week. The short exchange shows pure young love: tender, nervous, and full of joy. Now it is remembered through the lens of tragedy, tears, and anger.

From the very beginning, Erica could hardly contain her nerves:

Erica: “I’m not gonna be able to focus sitting this close to him.”

Charlie: “She’s nervous, which is why we must get going. All right, we ready?”

Charlie beamed as he proudly introduced her to the audience for the first time:

“Hey, everybody, welcome to this episode of The Charlie Kirk Show. Joining me is the most special guest, my fiancée, Erica. Welcome to the Charlie Kirk show…”

The laughter, glances, and affection between them capture the very essence of young love. Watching it now, it is impossible not to see the heartbreak in what was once just a sweet, simple moment.

Twitter/X reacted strongly as many reposted the video:

Tonight, my prayers continue to go out to Erica and the entire Kirk family as they endure unimaginable grief.

its just sad
its that simple

a young hard working family man was gunned down by a low life pos and both these people exemplified the group they represented in.a day-to day situation

rest in peace charlie kirk

I know that look.

I saw it in my wife’s eyes.

I’ve seen it in my daughter’s when they fell in love.

I can only imagine what she’s going through right now; something I never want to experience.

But I have faith that, as painful as this is, it’s part of God’s plan. We are already seeing tectonic societal shifts.

May God comfort her and her tiny family.

I can’t stop thinking of Charlie

I liked him, I believed in what he was doing, and so thankful he helped President Trump cross the finish line and bring the youth vote that Charlie laid before him.

I watched some of his shows, but I only watched like 20%

I actually watched his earlier shows from 2015, he actually had a few other guys on regularly and they talked among themselves.

He was really supportive of Kari and he really believed the cheating would be Found and she would be declared the winner, until one day… then I knew, he knew it wasn’t going to happen.

I never believed it was going to happen by the way

As time went by I found other peole and formats, like Mark Steyn, NoAgenda, Rogan at times ( he was still liberal and believe me, he has slid back on many issues, needs tissue for all the whaling about children being deported and killed in Gaza… oh well, he was there when we needed him

But Charlie, just can’t accept it yet

I have righteous anger that I can’t hide

He was just 21 I guess and already clearly smart as hell and had that charisma so few of us are blessed with

He was a man of faith, he was a Lion that walked into a camp of armed satanists, because his faith and God had directed him to do this.

And here we are

I told you it was soap opera.

I saw that on my Twitter feed yesterday morning and it absolutely hurt my heart to see that.

Getting dusty here.
