As President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff, visits Israel, the terrorist groups Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) have released propaganda videos of two Israeli hostages in their captivity since October 7, 2023.

On Thursday, the Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad (PIJ) released a disturbing video of German-Israeli hostage Rom Braslavski, claiming that it was recorded shortly after the terrorist group ‘lost contact’ with his captors in Gaza. The next day, Hamas published an equally depraved video of Israeli hostage Evyatar David. The videos sent out by the terrorist groups show emaciated, frail, and broken men who have endured 665 days of captivity in Gaza.
Today, Palestinian Islamic Jihad released footage of Rom Braslavski.
Rom was kidnapped from the Nova music festival and has been held hostage in Gaza for close to 700 days.

Just as in the past, these videos were aimed at tormenting the families of the hostages and manipulating the Israeli public opinion. The Hamas delegation in Qatar walked out of negotiations last week after rejecting a U.S. ceasefire proposal. Hamas, which boastfully recorded and publicized its atrocities on October 7, 2023, has been releasing videos of murdered, tortured, and tormented hostages ever since.

Rom Braslavski, a 21-year-old resident of Jerusalem, was kidnapped by terrorists on October 7, 2023, from the grounds of the Nova festival, where he was serving as a security guard. “The Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group on Thursday published a video of hostage Rom Braslavski, whom they are holding captive in the Gaza Strip,” The Times of Israel reported. “The terror group claimed that the six-minute video was recorded days before it lost contact with the captors holding Braslavski, and alleged that the hostage’s fate was unknown.”
On Saturday, Hamas released another video of David, showing him with a shovel digging his own grave in a terror tunnel.

In keeping with the wishes of the hostage’s family, only a single photo from the video was published by the media.”Israeli media do not air such video clips unless asked to by the hostages’ families. The Hostages and Missing Families Forum requested that media outlets only publish a still from the video approved by Braslavski’s family,” the news website added.
Reporting the reaction of Braslavski’s mother, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported:
“They broke my son,” [Rom’s mother, Tammy] Braslavski told [Hebrew] media outlet Ynet , “I want him home now.”
“I know how many times he was struck [by his captors], because Rom does not cry,” she said. “He looks starved; all of his bones are sticking out.”

Evyatar David, a 24-year-old resident of the central Israeli town of Kfar Sava, was also taken hostage at the Nova festival. “Hamas published a video of hostage Evyatar David on Friday evening,” the Jerusalem Post reported. “In the video, David can be seen crossing off days on a makeshift calendar hung up on the side of an underground Gaza tunnel.”
“David is also shirtless, and all of his ribs can be seen. He appears to have been held alone for months,” the newspaper added.
With heartbreaking videos like these, Hamas wants to force an Israeli military withdrawal and regain control of Gaza after nearly 22 months of war in the wake of the October 7 massacre.

While Hamas has been looting and hoarding food and aid supplies coming to Gaza, hostages have been deprived of food and medication. Last week, the Israeli military released a video showing Hamas terrorists feasting inside a Gaza tunnel. The clip shows terrorists waving food items before the camera while shouting and chanting cheerfully in Arabic.
The only people being deliberately starved and tortured in Gaza are the hostages held in Hamas' dungeons.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has been securing the inflow of humanitarian relief to Gaza — often risking the lives of Israeli troops. In May 2024, four IDF soldiers were killed in Hamas rocket fire as they secured Gaza’s main humanitarian aid crossing.
“The U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) said Wednesday that it has distributed nearly 100 million food rations in the Gaza Strip since it began operations,” the Israeli news website Ynetnews noted. “A senior Israeli security official said that since the start of Operation Gideon’s Chariots on May 19, more than 5,000 aid trucks have entered Gaza. These include over 1.5 million weekly food packages provided by an American company and 3,000 tons of baby formula.”

Make no mistake, when you hear or read of someone expounding upon Islam being a peaceful religion, this is what they mean. In other words, it’s a lie. Islam is supremely violent.

I doubt these hostages will ever be released. One option for Israel: threaten total annihilation of Gaza unless the hostages are released immediately. Start with one part of Gaza, and keep expanding the region of destruction. Show the Arabs, and the world what genocide really looks like. The Europeans will scream. So what? What can they do about it? They already hate Israel to the max. Ten times infinity is still infinity. What about the US? What Trump could do: sanction any country that retaliates against Israel. Break diplomatic relations with the first country. Of course all this is fantasy on my part. Trump is too timid to do any of it. He only seems aggressive when compared to his predecessors. Israel too can’t go the whole hog out of fear of world opinion. The world, especially Arabs, fear and respect strength. To understand their mentality read “The Arab Mind” by Raphael Patai. Leftists and neocons hate this book, along with those receiving Arab money.

There was an opportunity for this two years ago. On the day of Oct-7-2023 several Israeli ministers proclaimed that the Gaza Strip would be under total siege, not a scrap of food, not a drop of water, not an erg of electricity would be allowed in until the hostages were released. If that meant a million people starving to death, so be it. The key was in Hamas’s hands, they could lift the siege at any time.
At the time, had Israel done this the world would have understood. No one could have said anything. The massacre had just happened, the hostages had just been taken, an atrocity of massive proportions had been done before the whole world, and Israel could have got away with such an obviously just response.
Unfortunately Netanyahu did not approve these pronouncements and squashed them firmly. Whether he himself was opposed, or he caved to pressure from the Israeli left and legal establishment, or from the Biden administration, the fact is that he stopped it and as a result over 1000 soldiers have lost their lives, the hostages are still being held, and the world hates the Jews even more than it would have had it done this.
It’s too late now. The opportunity is gone.
I would finger the Biden Administration for reigning in Israel response along with strong resistance from inside Israel. The unspoken mystery of October 7, at least in my mind, is the intelligence failure that didn’t notice the upsurge in activity in Gaza prior to the attack. Both Israeli intelligence and American surveillance failed. I can only imagine the trauma within Israel as the scale of the attack became clear.
And these savages are the one’s that France (Marcon), the U.K. (Starmer), and Canada (Carney) want to reward as all three now have indicated they will be recognizing a so-called “Palestinian State” and giving Hamas all the rights and privileges that go along with such recognition. Disgusting. Simply disgusting.

A month ago or so I proposed holding Hamas families hostage. I was told that was a war crime. I don’t f;g care. The people who prattle about war crimes are always safe and snug in their beds. At a minimum I’d dig every Hamas Hezbollah and yes PLO leader out of their bed and execute them, No quarter given. Every last f’g one. I’d saw their heads off slowly and painfully. Better yet I’d geld them first and then saw their heads off while their screaming in pain.
I don’t care and you don’t care, but the IDF cares and would refuse such an order. And the Supreme Court would jump at the opportunity to order the arrest of the entire cabinet that voted for such a thing. And there’d be violent riots on the streets of Tel Aviv, with half the army deserting to join the rioters.
Then, regrettably, Israel has chosen suicide, and their choice should be allowed to proceed.

The West may actually be the neutered opponent Hamas’s handlers think it is. The European Union, not only has been incapable of protecting its member states. It is actively preventing them from defending themselves from the migrant invasion. (See the recent European Court’s ruling that Italy can only deport migrants to adequately safe countries. Great question. I think because Hamas knows that they control the media cycle and global new outlets will either not cover these videos or find ome twited way of blaming Israel. After all when people are occupied violence is justified or so says the arrogant bigoted mob. I think it just shows how brazen Hamas is and how they know they can completely get away with anything, they control the narrative. If the international community really cared about the hostages they would have pressured Qatar (the real puppet master) to force Hamas to release them long ago. But since the so called civilized world prefers the blood thirty terrorists over all others, the hostages continue to suffer and not even be mentioned.

Why treat this conflict differently than earlier conflicts?
Why not play by the rules established by the “Palestinians”?
1. HAMAS has established that civilians within groups being apposed are legitimate targets.
2. HAMAS has established that hostage taking and the killing of those hostages is acceptable as part of the conflict. The residents of GAZA agree. Based on these two points the residents of GAZA are similar to those in Cologne Germany or Nagasaki some years back.
Israel should immediately declare everyone within GAZA a hostage and bomb the entire area to dust.
