Hamas Murders Israeli Hostage Sahar Baruch, Displays Mutilated Body in Propaganda Video

Despite the week-long ceasefire, 130 Israeli hostages, including women, still in Hamas captivity.

Hamas tortured and murdered 25-year-old Israeli hostage, Sahar Baruch, who was taken to Gaza following the October 7 terrorist attack, the Israel media reported Sunday. Baruch, an engineering student at Ben-Gurion University, was kidnapped by terrorist intruders from his family home in Kibbutz Be’eri, a small community in southern Israel.

Earlier this week, Hamas claimed that Baruch had died during a failed attempt by the IDF to rescue hostages. But the propaganda video released by the terrorist group after Baruch’s death show his disfigured face with eyes gauged out—showing signs of similar sadistic torture and mutilations carried out by Hamas during the October 7 massacre.

Despite a week-long ceasefire, 130 Israeli hostages—including women—are still believed to be in Hamas captivity. Hamas leaders want to use them as bargaining chips and human shields as Israeli military tightens the noose around Gaza’s remaining terrorist strongholds.

The Times of Israel reported:

IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari says civilian hostage Sahar Baruch, 25, who was confirmed dead over the weekend, was murdered by Hamas in captivity in the Gaza Strip.

“IDF representatives updated the family of the murdered civilian, the late Sahar Baruch, who was abducted on October 7. Sahar was murdered by the Hamas terror group. We are still verifying and investigating the details of where he was murdered,” Hagari says.

Hamas had published a video showing Baruch’s body, while making unverified claims as to the cause of his death.

Baruch stayed behind in a burning house to save his brother

Baruch’s community, Kibbutz Be’eri, was the scene of one of the deadliest massacres on October 7. More than 100 residents, including elderly, women, and even infants of the Kibbutz were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists.

Kibbutz Be’eri was one of the hardest-hit areas,” the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) news agency noted. “Here, Hamas terrorists also committed unimaginable atrocities against the civilians caught by surprise. Thirty percent—300 of the 1,000 or so inhabitants—were murdered or taken hostage by the terrorists.”

The handful of men, who could be mustered to defend the Kibbutz, were overwhelmed by heavily-armed terrorist intruders. “What happened here [is that] they [Hamas] drove in convoys like ISIS, with heavy machine guns on pickups, shooting their way in – hand grenades and RPGs [rocket-propelled grenades]. Each group had a section in the kibbutz they were supposed to overtake,” one of the eye witnesses recalled.

Baruch did not run for safety, but he instead decided to stay behind in a burning house as he tried to save his injured brother Idan. Terrorists found the brothers, shot Idan and dragged Sahar into captivity.

The Jerusalem Post reported the details surrounding Baruch’s kidnapping:

Sahar Baruch, 25, was killed in Hamas captivity in Gaza after being kidnapped on October 7, according to a joint statement from his community, Kibbutz Be’eri, and the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.

Baruch’s brother, Idan, was murdered by Hamas during the October 7 massacre. Sahar was considered missing for weeks, until his family received the message that he was being held captive by Hamas. (…)

The late Baruch was an electrical engineering student at Ben-Gurion University, his family told Israeli media. “Sahar was at home with his brother Idan at his mother’s house, they woke up in the morning like the rest of us from alerts and the explosions,” his aunt said in an interview with Israeli media. “They entered and closed themselves in the mamad but couldn’t close the door, so they closed it with a closet. When the fire started, three grenades were thrown into the mamad – Idan was hit and Sahar treated him for hours.”

She added, “When the house started to burn and it was already too hot to stay in the house, they decided to jump out,” she added. “In the beginning, Idan jumped and probably near that he was shot and killed. Sahar stayed behind for a few more minutes to bring him the inhaler because Idan was asthmatic. For more than two weeks we did not know what happened to him and then some information was received that he was not in Israeli territory.”

One way to stop further murders is to kill 100,000 Pales for the death and a other 100,000 for how he died. Since there may not be a suitable location to get at that number in one place, consider doing so in the West Bank, is there any reason to think that Pales in the West Bank are any better than Gaza?

Won’t do a thing to stop Hamas from killing what few hostages are still alive. In fact this may even prompt Hamas to kill even more hostages (if any are still alive) as they will use those deaths as propoganda to be parroted by their useful fools in the Democrat media.

There must be a price to pay for this. If they wish to make the attempted journey to paradise…. hasten their trip.

Provocation, defiance. The message is always “you can’t live here.”

admire the restraint / focus of the idf forces–given the ongoing examples of hamas’ brutal treatment of noncombatants(torture/rape/mutilation/murder of children / elders / women / innocents ) am not certain could manage that much self-control

may the idf continue and finish the job

mercy is gesture granted among honourable warriors–as hamas and their ilk have no honour then their pleas for mercy should be ignored–their actions have sealed their fate

rip to baruch and condolences to his family / loved ones

    Why should there be restraint?

      WestRock in reply to JohnSmith100. | December 11, 2023 at 7:13 am

Because the IDF, and Israel in general, tries to be civilized in the face of relentless attacks, both verbally, politically, and militarily, from all sides. War is war, and sadistic mutilation and torture is not a necessary aspect of war or anything, other than a sick and cruel perversion.

There will be an Israeli war crimes tribunal. These deeds will be exposed and justice had. The question is who will explain about context.

Carthage 146 BC => Gaza 2023.

Let’s hope the IDF makes it happen.

I think the aftermath of the Battle of the Silarius River would be appropriate, myself.

Louis K. Bonham in reply to Crawford. | December 10, 2023 at 7:34 pm

I hope not. Crassus’ army suffered pretty heavy losses in that battle, whereas Scipio Africanus the Younger masterfully contained and then utterly destroyed the Carthaginians.

      Ergo:

      Ceterum censeo Hamasiam esse delendam.

which, abbreviated a-la most quotations of Cato the Elder, would be::

      Hamas delenda est.

May his memory be a blessing.
.
That is something Jewish people say, and I think it both fitting and proper.

Scorched earth, then salt.

I use 5 gallon bucket mouse traps on my farm, put 1/2 inch of flacked salt in the bottom. Thye quickly dies and dry up, mouse and occasional rat mummies. 55 gallon drums would work great for most terrorists. These sub humans deserve no mercy.

He behaved heroically and tried to save his brother. May the family take consolation in that regard.

I am saddened that these men, women, and children are losing their lives to a terrorist organization.

A life denied a future.

I despise anyone who supports Hamas, Palestinians, and anyone who approves or denies this treatment.

From the river to the sea, Israel deserves to be free.

I also invite all Muslim terrorists a rapid vacation directly to 72 Virgin Street. I know I would enjoy it when they go.

If people who raise their children to act like this are not exposed to terror on a grand scale, nothing will change. To be an engineer, he had at least a 130 IQ and likely would have been an asset to humanity, why are we putting up with dumb Pale fucks?

Subotai Bahadur | December 10, 2023 at 7:26 pm

Israel must pursue the war as if all the hostages are dead, because there is no way to determine if they are alive. If a chance to rescue any comes up, it must be taken with appropriate tactical precautions. Under both the laws of war and practical civilian hostage rescue efforts, any resistance, especially armed resistance, by HAMAS and its supporters must be met with deadly force.

Granting quarter to HAMAS and its supporters is at this point totally at the option of the government of Israel and the IDF. HAMAS has worked to weight the balance of the choice.

If bugle calls were still in fashion, the IDF should be blasting El Degüello in all the areas in Gaza where they have given civilians notice to leave. And mean it.

But GnR’s “Welcome to the Jungle” (a-la the US military in Panama) would also do.

Hamas has choosen not to abide by the Geneva Convention. So be it. Its members thus deserve nothing but elimination with extreme prejudice.

I’d let Israel have a totally free hand in fighting hamass and it’s backers. From the river to the sea, no more hamass for anyone to see.

I don’t see why anybody is surprised by this. Muzzie terrorists in pakistan sawed off the head of WSJ reporter daniel pearl and flushed his head down the latrine, and posted online vid of it.

On February 21, 2002, a video was released titled The Slaughter of the Spy-Journalist, the Jew Daniel Pearl. The video shows Pearl’s mutilated body, and lasts 3 minutes and 36 seconds.

Israel disarmed its citizens when the liberal government took over decades ago. The disease of liberalism allows very few exceptions. All liberals the world over read the same tripe, go to the same web pages, attend the same conferences and are always assured they are the smartest and brightest, totally convinced that when the police state happens, for the good of the peasants, of course, they will be among those in charge. It is addictive to certain personalities and those in charge will create delusional laws that are harmful in the extreme.

Milhouse in reply to puhiawa. | December 10, 2023 at 9:18 pm

Um, no. Israel started with a socialist government and strict gun control. There was never a time when its citizens were armed in the first place. The first government from the right was elected in 1977, and it didn’t achieve much of a change. On guns it didn’t even try to.

It’s only now that Itamar Ben-Gvir, who by Israeli standards is considered a lunatic fringe right-winger, has taken advantage of this war to slightly relax the regulations, though by American standards they’re still draconian. And there’s no guarantee they won’t go back once the war is over.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to puhiawa. | December 10, 2023 at 11:50 pm

Disarming citizens was insane & tragic. Is Israel fixing that now?

      Milhouse in reply to JohnSmith100. | December 11, 2023 at 6:25 am

See above. They’re not really fixing anything; Ben-Gvir managed to push through a slight relaxation in the regs, and is trying to push out as many permits as possible before Netanyahu no longer needs his votes, and stops him. The underlying law, and more importantly the underlying mentality, hasn’t changed.

Wanna stop this shit? Take out the billionaires and sue their estates into bankruptcy.

When you’re fighting barbarians you must resort to a level of barbarity that even shocks the barbarians.
For example, make it known that every Palestinian / Hamas member will be doused with the blood of a pig before being killed and then buried in mass graves with pigs. Or, have all of your ammo either dipped in pig’s blood or lubed with pig fat.
This denies the Muslim from entering Heaven and meeting his virgins.

JohnSmith100 in reply to Ralph Gizzip. | December 11, 2023 at 10:58 am

That is why I advocate at least a 100,000 to one kill ratio. They are laying waste to Gaza, but go too far in trying avoid killing civilians, most of whom are complicit in terrorism. To stop terrorism they need to deal with the root cause, people who intentionally have and brainwash children to be martyrs.

Also, intentionally having too many children, dooms the vast majority of them to a life of poverty.. There needs to be population reduction, that can be accomplished while teaching them about terror. Brutality has to be met overwhelming brutality. That is the essence of war.

Treat the savages without mercy!
Kill ’em all, let God sort them out.

Any European dhimmi or American Dhimmi-crat who is rationalizing, excusing, whitewashing and otherwise justifying the sadistic savagery and barbarism of these Muslim supremacists, terrorists and Islamofacsists, is evil; end of story.

These goose=stepping Muslim thugs aren’t victims; they’re evil savages following a wretched, intrinsically and immutably supremacist, totalitarian, belligerent and hate-filled ideology. “Kill them all” should be the words on every rational person’s lips.
