Bondi Fires DOJ Employee Accused of Throwing Sandwich at Federal Agent

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that she fired the DOJ employee who threw a sandwich at a federal agent in DC.

According to The Federalist, Dunn worked as an international affairs specialist in 2022 under former President Joe Biden.

Bondi wrote on X:

If you touch any law enforcement officer, we will come after you.I just learned that this defendant worked at the Department of Justice — NO LONGER. Not only is he FIRED, he has been charged with a felony. This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ.You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement.

On August 10, Sean Charles Dunn allegedly hurled his Subway sandwich at a federal agent and Metro Police while screaming and shouting: “F— you! You f—ing fascists! Why are you here? I don’t want you in my city!”

Dunn then ran away with cops following him.

The DOJ press release stated that Dunn said, “I did it. I threw a sandwich.”

Dunn faces charges for “assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers and employees of the United States.”

“Let me be clear, if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, be certain we will come after you with the full weight of the law. Our officers have a job to do, and they should not be abused in the process,” announced U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro. “This alleged assault is no joke – it’s a serious crime, and those who think otherwise will learn just how gravely mistaken they are.”
