FBI Director Kash Patel submitted newly declassified intelligence to Congress on Monday night, alleging that China mass-produced counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses intended to validate fraudulent mail-in ballots during the 2020 election cycle, according to Just the News’ editor John Solomon. The confidential source who provided this information to the FBI claimed this operation was intended to help former President Joe Biden.
Sources told Solomon that the draft report, dated August 2020, had only been “partially corroborated” because it was “recalled from intelligence agencies” before a full investigation could be completed. Notably, Solomon pointed out that the report was withdrawn around the same time then-FBI Director Christopher Wray testified that there were “no known plots of foreign interference” ahead of the 2020 election.
The report was delivered to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who had previously raised concerns with the FBI regarding the intelligence. According to Solomon, Grassley’s warnings were dismissed by agency officials—despite the existence of evidence pointing to the production of fake driver’s licenses.
As you may recall, Grassley and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) were actively investigating Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings during the summer of 2020, including connections to Chinese nationals tied to the Chinese Communist Party. Their findings were detailed in a comprehensive report released in late September 2020. In response, Senate Democrats issued a rebuttal, claiming the Grassley-Johnson report had “amplified Russian disinformation.”
In a statement to Just the News, Patel said:
Thanks to the oversight work and partnership of Chairman Grassley, the FBI continues to provide unprecedented transparency at the people’s Bureau. To that end, we have located documents Chairman Grassley requested, which detail alarming allegations related to the 2020 U.S. election.Specifically, these include allegations of plans from the CCP to manufacture fake driver’s licenses and ship them into the United States for the purpose of facilitating fraudulent mail-in ballots – allegations which, while substantiated, were abruptly recalled and never disclosed to the public.In accordance with Chairman Grassley’s request for documents, I have immediately declassified the material and turned the document over to the Chairman for further review.
Officials familiar with the documents told Solomon that the FBI recalled the report in order to “re-interview” the “relatively new confidential source” who had originally provided the intelligence.
They also noted that around the same time the FBI received this information, U.S. Customs and Border Protection intercepted nearly 20,000 counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses.
A seizure of that magnitude is hardly routine. So the question remains: why didn’t the FBI immediately reopen the investigation?
The FBI threw its full weight behind Biden in 2020, just as it had done for Hillary Clinton in 2016. Had a scheme like this been aimed at helping President Donald Trump win reelection, it would have dominated front pages nationwide.
Granted, even if the report is accurate, this operation alone wouldn’t have been enough to secure Biden’s victory. But it was hardly the only irregularity to surface during the 2020 election cycle.
The Twitter Files exposed a level of corruption few ever imagined they’d witness in America—culminating in a coordinated effort by Democrats, the FBI, Big Tech, and legacy media to sway the outcome of a U.S. presidential election.
Who can forget the infamous 2020 letter, signed by 51 former intelligence officials, suggesting the Hunter Biden laptop story bore all the “classic earmarks” of a Russian disinformation campaign—just weeks before voters went to the polls?
Adding to the scandals, whistleblowers later revealed that senior Justice Department officials slow-walked the Hunter Biden investigation, in some cases delaying it so long that key charges were lost to expired statutes of limitations.
Democrats also found other ways to interfere in the electoral process. According to the Constitution, changes in election law must be ratified by state legislatures. Ahead of the 2020 election, however, the secretaries of state in crucial battleground states bypassed the legislatures entirely and changed rules pertaining to signature requirements and collection procedures for mail-in ballots in the name of the pandemic.
One need not believe every allegation of election interference, Dominion machine corruption, or late-night ballot box stuffing floated by Trump supporters to recognize that some of our most powerful institutions deliberately coordinated with each other to remove him from office.
Considering the startling number of so-called “conspiracy theories” that have been proven true in the years since, the outcome of the 2020 election will always be surrounded by doubt.
